    An addendum to a comment I made yesterday: only the first two generations have had their cries updated for some reason... which means that sableye and especially staraptor are safe! For the time being, in any case.

      That explains why Ralts sounded fine, but Eevee sounded like it was getting tortured?  Good to know.  Hopefully the rest will be overlooked.

      Maybe eevee will be further updated once the Let's GO! version is available if there's enough outcry? If nothing else, it isn't as grating.

       

      On the other hand, I find the new drowzee cry to be kinda amusing for some reason. Didn't expect that monster be a diamond in the rough for me at any point, and yet here we are!
