Well, the thing is that Prism Scale is LITERALLY on the ground (like in a pokeball) so no need of compoudeyes.

    Wrong game.

The only way to get a Prism Scale is off a wild Feebas in Rejuvenation.

There is a 5% or maybe 1% (not entirely sure) that a wild Feebas may be holding a prism scale. So I suggest having a mon with compoundeyes and frisk when trying to catch a Feebas.

Its one percent. And yeah, compoundeyes is the best way to get it, since that will increase the chance for Feebas to have one. Have that Pokemon lead, fainted preferably since it should still work, and then have a Pokemon with Frisk second which will actually be sent out. That gives you the biggest chance of finding a Feebas with the scale, and then lets you actually know it has one.

I can’t find where Never After in Tourmaline Desert is. Can anybody tell me?

You have to solve the rather massive scrapyard puzzle. There'll be a town on the far side, and you pass through that to get there.

Not ture. All her mons outspeed my sharpedo and dargonite. This field will cut in half your speed regardless. She and Ciel are the most rigged gym leaders there are.

Yes it is true. Which Pokemon our speed those two?

what is so special about cyndaquil in reborn

Major point is simply that it learns Lava Plume, which can destroy or transform a lot of fields, usually turning them into advantageous ones. Don't get me wrong, Cyndaquil isn't in the top-tier Speed Boost Torchic level of starters, but its at least in the top half, which is more than can be said for every other starter that got picked other than maybe Chimchar.

Add on that its neutral against all the early gyms, with an advantage against Florinia and Shelly. Not to mention having a good matchup against the Pulse Tangrowth's. Like I said, not the best starter by any means, but certainly not awful like it would be in the main games.

Thank you very much. Here it is!

Kay. Not sure what was going on, but I would guess it was because you had started the Oshawatt quest before talking to Melia up around the Grand Dream Gate. I warped you up there, talked to her, and returned Oshawott to its mother and ran back to the Gate to make sure it wasn't still happening.

Unfortunately in solving it I did have to get through the cutscene there, and wasn't able to go back before it as the solution I used the first time did not work on another attempt. The Oshawott quest continues on Route 8. You're looking for the girl who was "helping" Samurott out. The gang of Hoodlums you are following around are down near the train.

Just paste that back where the original file was.

I suppose our character is wary of messing with time flow ( Which given what happens when we save that one woman is a good worry to have )  Though at the same time that would beg the question of why then save the woman if we did fear changing time

Presumably because we were setting time back the way it was rather than changing it again.

1.If the time stone crystal thing that we had could have been used why didn't we use it to back in time and make sure that Aelita's time amulet that tiempa gave her wasnt stolen, why didn't we make sure that heracross would not do that?

2.Why couldn't we use the time stone to go back to a way earlier point and stop venam from going outside and getting turned to stone

I gather that the Time Crystals have a set period they can send you back. So you couldn't have returned to before Aelita's time amulet was stolen and stop that from happening. If you tried it would return you to after that because an amount of time has passed in both timestreams.

7.If melia could not touch melanie what if OUR CHARACTER like slapped her or punch her.

Presumably nothing, as we weren't the same person as Melia. If we'd met our alternate self we likely wouldn't have been able to touch them either.

If anyone could tell me where is Amaria's gym, that would be a great help...

I heard she's somewhere in Celestine but I can't find this Celestine.

Its her house. The door in the back you couldn't go in earlier is open when you can battle her and the gym is back in there.

    Hi @Amethyst

I've noticed that Palossand is not able to learn Stealth Rock from the Move Tutor over in Peridot Ward! Is there a reason as to why this is? I don't remember that move being removed from Palossand's compatible moves for Ultra Sun/Moon!

    Thanks!!

Palossand can only learn Stealth Rock in US/UM. It couldn't in S/M. Episode 17 only goes to S/M so far as moves go.

Is there currently a way to get Avalanche on Walrein? I saw something on the Victory Road thread about Walrein with Curse, Rest, Sleep Talk, and Avalanche, and I've already bred Sleep Talk and Curse onto a Spheal without checking into a way to get avalanche.. Haven't played since Episode 16 was released so any info will help. I'm happy to breed more if that's the only option to get it.

    Thanks

Uh...I don't think Walrein learns Avalanche. Its not an egg move, so it doesn't learn it by breeding.

Walrein appears to only get Avalanche by TM. Breeding won't do you any good. I looked for Avalanche in the Item Guide and it isn't listed, so the TM doesn't appear to be in the game. Unfortunately it's not possible to get Avalanche onto Walrein just yet.

Avalanche hasn't been a TM since Gen. IV.

What's so useful about gyro ball? Even if enemy is slow it does not do lots of damage. Does it have other uses in battle?

Gyro ball deals more damage the slower the user is than the target. 25*Target speed over user speed.

So if your pokemon is half as fast it has base power of 50. A quarter and its 100, etc.

Since most competitive Pokemon are built to have max speed and Aegislash with its abysmal speed will usually deal out a lot of damage to the target. I prefer Flash Cannon personally, but to each their own.

This helped me so much! I had my mining kit already but didn't quite understand how to mine and what goodies could come from it. Was able to snag a bunch of max revives and a thunder and leaf stone which will be of great use for my team. Thank you so much for this!

Save the shards too. They are probably more important long-term.

Hey guys, kinda new to Reborn (Only just got my third gym badge) and I am having to repeat those main battles quite a few times before I am successful. I am wondering if anyone has any tips or tricks for those tougher battles WITHOUT SPOILERS so I can beat them on less attempts. I apologize in advance if this is in the wrong place on the forums, I tried my best to post in the right spot

Specifically for the right after the Shelly battle, go back under the Grand Staircase and use Rock Smash to explore the area some more until you get the Mining Kit. I really can't overstate just how important getting that item is. It makes your life much, much less difficult. Otherwise, as others have said have a diverse team and be prepared to swap out Pokemon as better ones become available or they are at a disadvantage in new areas. If you don't want to look up key battles be prepared to lose the first time and come back. Use the first battle to scout out as many Pokemon as possible to learn moves and items.
