  1. I'm unsure whether there is a partner eevee sprite comparable to the partner pikachu ( with a hat or stuff like that), though i didn't find it.

    Would like to have a more emphasized sprite for it!

    new update online! 

    • Links were updated on front page! I use Mega now.
    • the above mentioned points are fixed with the update too (especially the Paradox one)
    • the mod now gets numbers! for organization (should be done way sooner...)

     

    • added missing Sunkern Switcher battles
    • Regidrago / Regieleki catchable as static encounter (directly behind Regirock / Registeel, jump to the upper island)
    • Mega Corsola added (Mega Stone: Byxbysion Grotto near Beldum)
    • Mega Arbok added (Mega Stone: Celestinine Mountain B3F, where the entrance to Heatran quest opens later on)
    • Mega Banette Y added (Mega Stone: Glasswork Station inside the black hole'd room)
    • Old Banettite renamed to Banettite X

     

    • LGP/LGE Moves implemented! learn via move relearner (or at Nyu's House, Pikachu only)
    • Win against Nyu after City restoration at Nyu's House to get Partner Pikachu (lvl 80-90)
    • Partner Pikachu can be bred (always Spiky Eared Pichu!) + Light Ball works on Pichu now
    • Interact with the Dresser in Nyu's House to change Partner Pikachus appearance!
    • You can also fly to Nyu's House now for convenience

     

    • additionally, Nyu will give you the Partner Ribbon
    • use the ribbon on a full Happiness Eevee to change it to Partner Eevee (not reversable!)

    i never tinkered around with the scripts for that, i myself always switched around the names of my savefiles when switching between reborn folders.

    I can only suggest that, when playing vanilla, open the modded folder beforehand and choose a vanilla save file there, afterwards start the original reborn. With that you shouldn't get crashes when opening your unmodded reborn! (vice versa not needed)

    those should not be affected! it's only for nonevent encounters.

    some things were added already ( like some abilities protecting against initimidate etc.) the egg group addition however i wasn't even aware of. that might be very helpful for specific new moves!

     

     

    With that, a new Update is out! ~

     

    • fixed Meltan quest for Alloycandy
    • fixed Obstruct issue
    • Zero To Hero was added!
    • Good As Gold protects against perish song
    • some other minor fixes

    Additionally, sunkern switchers are implemented!

    • you will find them in (almost) every Poke center (and right before certain Story battles)
    • talk to the sunkern to change upcoming battles 
    • Vanilla : All story relevant battles are kept original to the game
    • Modded: Story battles are changed to also include Gen 8 / Gen 9 mons
    • you can change anytime you find a Sunkern!
    • I will work on a doc that contains the changes of trainers

    EDIT: Don't forget to interact with a sunkern at least once while on an existing playthrough! otherwise battles might not start!

    i can recommend you using debug (it should be within the option section) and choose "pokemon" .

    then you go into your team window and select your mons that do have this move. after you selected one you should be able to choose debug then. open it and select "moves" -> "reset movelist"

    I'm doing a test run right now and close to onyx school. when i reach there i'll try it out and see if i also get the issue!

    Hi! ~

     

    Quick update! @Maxxetto finally released the (BETA) version of the new collaborated mod: Re-Atomized!

    Many things need to be considered:

    • the mod was based on the allgen mod (previously Eeveelution), meaning Items and Moves sadly had to be rearranged! >.<

    therefore, if you get errors when opening your bag or your pokemon windows, try to remove items / moves via any measure ( like debug or the in game move deleter)

    • The Dex unfortunately became a different order as well! Even though i had a poll for not rearranging, it was too handy to have both mods on the same page (for bug fixing, event adding etc.)

    Please forgive me / us! ;-;

    • i am actually NOT really up-to-date with the mod o.o! I brought allgen and radiation into it and helped here and there, but if you got any questions about the mod
      I highly recommend the discord (thanks @Ultimas Prime for your thorough information above!!)

    You can still ask me questions about the uranium part obviously, I'm just more into allgen and rad right now!

    • as Ultimas also mentioned, it is released on the discord! I will also post the link here, but will not update the whole site yet, as there are still many things to do.

    • I will slowly but steady go through all bugs reported here and look wether or not they probably were fixed already / need to be fixed for the new mod
       
    • I have no idea if I forgot anything else to mention, but this will come sooner or later anyways!

     

    In conclusion, Rad-Reborn as it was will be on hold (for now) and replaced with Re-Atomized!

    If y'all want a lighter version, as in Oldschool Rad-Reborn (only gen8/9/radiation), then I may consider it later!

    sorry for this late response! I will check if i can recreate the issue. Usually the error pops up if the game cannot find a certain pokemon/move.

    What mons did you have in your team? and by chance did you have a pokemon with rising voltage?

    for pbs changes in Types (and fields if interested) you will need a new compiler.rb. It is attached to the discord's reborn-mods channel. In that you have to find "def pbCompileAllData(mustcompile)"

    within that definition you have to remove the "#" from #pbCompileTypes.

     

    Edit: well i can just make it easier for you:

    just use this! should be fine.

    hmm I don't think i will add HA to the paradoxies, but there are some additional moves/abilities already that interact with fields. They are listed on the spreadsheet (somewhere)!

    all evolution methods that are not mentioned on the spreadsheet are the same as original! I only added those that do have an altered method. But i can add the non-mentioned ones too so that it's easier to look through them.

    ruins aren't yet in the game! I will think about other events for them.

    Generally i want gen 8 and gen 9 legendaries to have events for themself. this will take a while! I will update the spreadsheet as i apparently mixed the location up with them!

    yeah steel roller is kind of in a tight spot. It does indeed destroy non permanent fields, but is still usable in many areas due to reborns permanent fields. 

    I consider reducing its BP to balance it a bit, as you said its kinda over the top with so high damage.

  13. Update is out! ~

    • aforementioned things were fixed / implemented!
    • paradox event implemented: after catching all spirits in victory road, talk again to the hiker. afterwards when entering the victory road, on the left and right side should be new sparkly entrances to the event!
    • regarding the galarian feather: LUMI in the nighclub will give it to you after you caught the birds! (at least the moment she mentions articuno)

     

    i will see if i somehow alter the not implemented abilities or get them to work with the help of others!

     

    also: its been a very long while, so i recommend downloading the whole game again rather than the patch

    HOWEVER, do make backups of you older download. It seemed there were some upload issues last time i tried that presumably led to missing data in that download. I didn't get any errors as of right now, but do be careful.

    I intend to make gen 9 moveset changes yep but not to the degree to take away stuff. Mostly focusing at possible improvements for mons that are rarely used and got some love in gen 9.

  15. THAT's been a long break! sorry guys! (that exam killed me...)

    i will reiterate all things explained here since i've been rather inactive here, and in discord!

     

    Things that will change with the next update:

    • Mega Milotic Ability fixed
    • Hand Mixer in post-restoration
    • Stunfisk stats change fixed
    • Bee's dex quest will need 910 at the end, ( i also think its 912, but let's see what the majority will tell)
    • Black augurite can be found in Grand Stairway (once)
    • You will get the Galarina Feather after catching all birbs and then talk to NIHIL in Nightclub
    • Lilligant sprite fixed
    • I added a change that boosts Tangled Feet on Big Top, though maybe that was a bit over the (big) top. -> Tangled Feet will now just boos evasion by 1 on Big Top Arena
    • Fixed the Meltan evolution item requisites
    • Fixed Sprigatito event
    • Skwovet will be catchable early game at the same locations as Greedent in post resto
    • Grolithe should always be normal in early game (for the quest)
    • Walking Wake and Iron Leaves added
    • Heavy Duty Boots can be bought from the Treasure Hunter
    • Illuminate bug fixed
    • Kowtow Cleave now 85 BP

    Alright, this AND i will proceed with the paradox events today. Don't knoiw if i will finish it today, but afterwards i will push out the update!

    right now I'm in a playthorugh for testing some things, just like this! thanks for reporting.

    I had to see myself how many mons you can get when you take out all legos/paradox etc. so the overall number you will need is ~ 912 (914 with poipole and naganadel).

    (Seems like I sucked at math when counting all these)

    The last ones you could only see should be arceus, reshiram/zekrom and mewtwo.

    I will reduce it to needing 912 then it should exactly fit.

    no problem with bug reporting, don't worry!

    BUT.

    1) I took your file and tried victory dance and wave crash with every single mon in your team and it worked all the time (nice name btw)

    2) You mentioned you changed something with pokemon stats and attacking moves, so theremight have been an issue with compiling these changes

    3) I see that you debugged quite a lot! Some mons have crazy interesting moves! Though i cannot be accountable for any issue that might occur when people decide to debug themself, especially when i can't reproduce the bug :/

    If there are any more people having this issue i definitely can proceed the investigation, otherwise i can't do anything :(

    not just for hisuians, for all forms like marowak: there seems to be a mistake, as they are not intended to have the ability for mega evolution, only the normal forms do.

    I look into that issue, but please refrain from mega evolving an alternate form of a pokemon that got a custom mega as its only for the original mon mentioned!

    the all gen mod is already released. All-Gen replaced the Eeveelution mod.

    The one being released here will be another one with anything from the All-Gen mod + uranium, and even more later.

     

    However: the save files will be compatible, BUT (even though i asked the question regarding the pokedex order) the order of Pokemon, Items and moves will be different.

    This means you may or may not find yourself in an issue of crashes when opening your bag or the Pokemon Summary, sadly.

     

    The main reason was that both mods I had were very messy and divided regarding codes. This "mess" lead to a lot of mix-ups with updates between these mods.

    Now, when bugs arise coming from a gen 8 or 9 issue I can immediately fix them for both mods, instead of doing it for both separately, and risking a mix up.

     

    I apologize for this inconvenience.

    i reworked this a tiny bit. Rather than on evolution, you have a 1 in 10 chance to catch a dunsparce with form 1. then you will get a triple dudunsparce, which makes it easier in general and to shiny breed.

    I even downloaded it myself, started a new game and tried it, and it worked perfectly fine for me :(
