This has probably been asked multiple times but i'm having issues with the Bladestar Puzzle on the Florin route and have frankly spent way too much time messing with it to progress unless i'm as blind as a bat.

@WSGreen it's as coldscars stated, it was a bug that was resolved with the Patch a few days ago. The issue was an event was skipped and you never got to see Keta in Amethyst Cave. Download the recent patch, move the patch data folder to your rejuvenation version 9 folder and overwrite everything. Then go back to the main city where you started, save, close the game, take the train back to the area where Amethyst cave is, go through the cave like you were for the first time towards Sheridan Village and you should come across Keta telling you to meet him in his gym.

I'm not sure if it was reported or if it's just my save, when entering second floor door of Blacksteppe Castle from the outside, i am given the following error" Script "Game_Event_" line 164: ArguementError occurred comparison of String with 21 failed. I will attach the save here. I've already downloaded the recent patches and looked through some threads here but haven't seen the issue. Thanks Game.rxdata

@Westin and @Ulli some other people on this forum helped me yesterday. The fix is to download the patch, replace the data folder from the patch with your Version 9 data folder, go back to the main city, save, turn the game off and back on, go back to amethyst cave like it was your first time going there. it should trigger an event with the gym leader right next to the team xen grunt / where you assisted the local gang with a rival gang.

@Sapphire Mahala you may have already found it but it is located in the arena where the elder is standing behind the waterfall.

I replaced it with the patch data folder, returned to the main city (I don't remember it's name), saved the game, turned off the game, restarted my computer (i had updates which is why), started the game, took the train back to the cave, went through it like it was my first time. you should see the event next to the team xen grunt / where you assisted the local gang in defeating a rival gang. you can't take the quick travel back to Sheridan village, have to take the train and go through the cave like you were never there for the event to start itself.

@FabianCh Hey i had the same issue, download the patch, replace the Data folder from you Version 9 with the new Data from the patch, go back to the cave as if it was your first time going there (I took the train and it activated the instance so it's working for me)

Does anyone know if Keta in Sheridan Village is broken in V9? He just stands there and you can't interact with him. I can't move on through the story either. I've talked with everyone in the village and done all the quests but when I enter Sensei's House nothing happens. I can go to the grove behind his table but that's it.

So I'm a bit stuck on Version 9. Restarted yesterday but can't get past Sheridan Villiage, Keta won't talk to me. I've talked to all the NPCs and don't believe I've forgotten anything. What am i supposed to do? Thanks! EDIT: To give more information, Keta is just in his house and you cannot click on him or talk at all. I attempted to go to the mysterious red rock in the cave as in Version 8 after talking with Keta you had to go there but unfortunately that didn't do anything. Talking to the Elder doesn't help either.
