Have you tried anything that contains paracetamol in it? It usually does the trick. Lying down in a calm environment and putting an ice pack or a cold, wet cloth across your forehead will help.
If something as strong as Ibuprofen doesn't work, usually the only thing that might fix it for me is a very short nap (~20 min). Obviously, very situational usage, and it doesn't always work. That might just be me though.
