  1. The Village(Everyone): After several minutes of walking Rivers found herself passing through a fairly narrow pass that eventually opened up to reveal a small sprawling village, nestled around a river-cut valley between two long mountain ranges. By this point it was dark and she had had to resort to using her glowsticks once again, in what appeared to be the village center, judging by the fact that it was the only place clearly lit, was a small gathering of people, maybe two dozen at most and several wearing very strange clothes. Not long after Kusuke and Satomi left the mine, Jun, Toshiro, and Leo finished work one their alloy, and Lucille finished her work several villagers came and collected them and the rest of the group, urging them towards the village center on the reasoning that the Dryad was going to be here soon and wanted to talk to them. Once everyone was gathered at the village center and a couple minutes had passed and rustling in the grass nearby revealed a massive flower bud growing. WIthin seconds it grew to just over the height of a human and bloomed, a relatively young woman with hair and clothes made of leaves and softly glowing eyes stepped out. "Well it's good to be back, and you all must be the heroes from a distant land I prophesized? Well we've got a lot of work to do if you're willing, but I'm sure you've got questions so now would be the time."
  2. The Clearing(Rivers): A thin blonde haired woman pokes her head out of the side door of the bus, looks Rivers up and down for a second then replies. "Oh, you must be another one of them, the ones fighting for the multiverse or whatever. Follow the path over there up the hill, the rest of them are at the village on the other side of the mountains. Better be quick too, their about to have some sort of meeting, and no, I'm not going to explain anything more to you." With that she closed and locked the door to the bus and turned to walk back to the other end.
  3. The Clearing(Rivers): As Rivers reaches the bottom of the hill and steps into the clearing she realizes that these aren't static buildings for a village or something, they appear to be more likely flying ships of some description. The Small Yellow ship: The Larger Metal and Wood ship: A few colorful semi-transparent blobs of slime appear to be bouncing happily around the clearing and mostly ignoring Rivers. While the larger ship seems to be empty and still, she can see a shadow moving around inside the smaller yellow ship. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Dye Trader's house(Alyssa): Hiram's eyes practically pop out of his skull with excitement as he watches Alyssa paint several bottles of dye into existence. "Simply amazing. Hmm? Yes I think I can help with that, one second please." He stops and takes the two original bottles of dye back to the storage room, then returns with another bottle labeled "Frost". Upon opening the dye and taking a look at its contents it makes everything look as if it was covered in frost and ice, Hiram assure Alyssa that the effect isn't only decorative and that it is to some degree fire retardant. He also mentions mixing it with other "normal" dyes to change the visible color.
  4. Frigus raises his Keyblade again and shouts "Heal" summoning small green leaves and golden particles over himself and Nader as he dove for cover. Frigus uses Cure on himself and Nader restoring 1d4+9 HP to each of them, then he jumps for cover.
  5. The Clearing(Rivers): As she crawls, digs, and pulls herself through the hole Rivers finds herself standing in an oldgrowth forest, a little underbrush litters the ground. She's on a slope and the ground around her seems a little rocky in composition, judging by what little of the sky she can see it's getting late, not quite sunset yet, maybe two hours of good light left. Beyond her immediate surroundings she can see a clearing a little ways down the hill, through the trees she can make out a large yellow structure, roughly shaped like an long box sitting next to an even larger structure made of wood and metal with a large sail on either side.
  6. Somewhere Underground(Rivers): Attempt: 4 vs 19, Luck: 33, Rivers forces her wind spell against the chest, it slides forward a few feet(accumulating a small mound of dirt in the process) before the stress ends up being to much and the old wood fails, causing it to collapse in on itself. It leaves behind some "splinters of old wood" and "rusty iron chest bracings". In some degree of salvation her wind spell whips out of the cave through the hole and tears away some obscuring vegetation, maybe the hole is larger than she first thought. She might be able to squeeze through if she tried, though she'd be covered in dirt by the end of it.
  7. Carl looks at Ricewine for a couple seconds, breaking the flow of the conversation and making sure to keep eye contact. "So the girl was attacked by trash, you making her medicine, everyone on the island is in danger, and the rest of the crew is fighting trash pirates." He stops and yawns for a second, covering his mouth before turning to walk away. "I'm going to go make some Curry if you need me for anything." Carl starts making some Six Flame Curry and packing it into some kind of container, effectively making firebombs.
  8. Somewhere Underground(Rivers): As Rivers follows the side passage it starts twisting and winding around, eventually it comes to a bit of an upward incline. The scenery doesn't change much, just more roots and dirt. After a while of following the cave(ten, fifteen minutes?) she notices that the roof doesn't have as steep of an incline as the floor, she can hardly stand up straight at this point. A little further ahead the cave becomes less winding, she can even see a faint light a few yards ahead, smothered and barely visible though it may be. The only problem is that she's already almost having to crawl forward and the hole looks like it was made by a rabbit or some other small animal.
  9. Somewhere Underground(Rivers): As Rivers puts the tubes into her bag she drops one, or it falls out, she's not quite sure, but either way it makes a soft cracking sound when it hits the ground. After about a second it starts glowing a soft green light, slightly brighter and definitely more manageable than the Glyphs.
  10. Somewhere Underground(Rivers): Rivers finds in the chest a series of small plastic tubes about a finger's width around stacked on top of one another in a sort of pyramid, a small black computer tablet, and an unusually thick and large white and red umbrella. The tablet flickers to life as soon as she acknowledges it, relaying a video recording of the "White Room" footage(read until mid page four). Once the video footage ends the tablet shuts off, there are no buttons or switches on the tablet as far as Rivers can tell and it doesn't respond to anything she might try.
  11. Spicy HG listen to and watched the exchange between Dackly and Lena, only interrupting at the end with a short wave and saying: "I should be around if you happen to need anything cleansed with holy fires, such as a horde of uncontrollable world-eating monsters. Those are my favorite." She turned yet again back to Solomon to continue their conversation. "Hmm. Well as much as I'd like to go find her(and no offense) I need to talk to her in relative private, and I get the feeling wherever she is she isn't alone. Anyway, back to the curse item. I we should at least be able to get the physical part done fairly quickly, though we should probably move to the armory before trying to melt down any metal."
  12. Somewhere Underground(River): As the Glyph flared to life River got a dim view of her surroundings. Obviously a cave of some sort, the floor was a mix of gravel and larger rocks in most places, the walls and admittedly low roof were all made of packed dirt and clay. Roots of varying thickness and color dangled down from the roof all around her, water dripped down here and there through the dirt. Coincidentally(or perhaps not) there was a small wooden chest against one of the walls, it looked old and had clearly been there a while to say the least. A small passage split off the cave and continued in the direction opposite the chest.
  13. Spicy HG took a few seconds to think before responding to Solomon. "I'll have to find her later then. As for the curses, I do what anyone else does, ruin people's days with them. On a more serious note, I think we should enchant the ring or bangle or whatever the gold ends up as with something that either makes your weapon apply a curse or improves your ability to apply curses over all."
  14. Carl barely manages to stay upright as Ricewine blows past on the way to the ship. After making it to the ship himself and stowing the supplies he wanders around until he finds Ricewine again to question the man. "What's the idea bringing random people onto the ship? And trying to knock me over in the process at that! By the way, any clue what the commotion in town is about?" Despite his choice of words he doesn't really seem upset, or at least no more upset than his normal everyday irritated at the world.
  15. "Well maybe I should tag along while you're working on it. I know a few curses of my own and I can always deal with it if the gold decides to burst into flames again." She paused for a second, obviously thinking about something. "Have either of you seen Mitsurugi? I should talk to her some time before the next battle."
  16. Spicy HG takes the cloth and cleans her face and hands with it before returning it. "Thank you, and let me get this straight. You had the power and expected responsibility to sunder armies in the name of the greater good forced upon you without any consideration for whether or not you ever wanted it in the first place?" She shook her head and sighed, then after waiting for a response she looked back to Solomon again. "I think you're forgetting that aside from presumably hitting people with questionable materials barely considerable as 'books' I don't actually know what you in a fight." She reaches over to his throne and pulls out a choice book as she speaks to exemplify her point.
  17. Spicy HG was at least a little surprised at the girl's choice of action, not that it really bothered her or made a significant difference. "You seem quiet, is everything alright?" She turned back to Solomon to answer his question quickly. "Yes, and no it isn't normal where I'm from though...Yeah no I'd don't really feel like getting into it. So what's your plan with that tainted gold?"
  18. Kusuke lifts the heart gently out of the pedestal and as he does the pedestal quickly turns to dust, fading away in a nonexistent wind. Kusuke gains one: Satomi gains two: "Old Elemental Locks" Also found(in the chest on the lower floor): ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Somewhere Underground(???): You wake up. Dirt and gravel and sand covers the ground where you're laying. It's humid and hot in here, wherever here is. There isn't any light to be seen and you can hear the soft drip of water falling onto rocks somewhere nearby. Wherever you went to sleep, it wasn't here...not that that matters any more.
  19. Spicy HG started to reach out a handshake for Lena but stopped mid movement, looked down at her still somewhat blood smeared hand, and decided against it. "I'm Spicy HG. Good to meet more new people. Uh, sorry about the whole, um, yeah." She showed her hands and gestured to her eyes while she spoke. "Here you go." She handed over the lump of now cooled gold after pulling it out of seemingly nowhere.
  20. Underground Cabin(Kusuke and Satomi): Kusuke can tell that the coil looks perfect for an electrical current. Satomi climbs up the stairs to the other door intend on trying to unlock it only to find that it is in fact less a "Door" now and more like a pile of rotting wood with hinges and a fancy lock. Time clearly hasn't been kind to it. Her attention(and probable disappointment) drawn away however. Inside the house she see a skeleton sitting and leaned over what look to be the remains of a chair and desk. Countless ruined papers are strewn about along with various apparatuses for lab work of some sort. What real caught her attention wasn't the body or assorted junk, but what was growing out of the body. A large rose colored crystal mass that grew to about eye level and ended in a sort of "cradle", in the cradle was a perfect crystal heart, Satomi swore she could feel it beating despite it staying perfectly still. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Dye Trader(Alyssa): Alyssa would notice that the labels on the bottles read "Negative" and "Twilight" respectively. "They were made from magically infused specimens of several of the plants I use to make more mundane dyes." He set the Twilight dye down on a small table and opened up the bottle of Negative dye. Inside Alyssa saw a liquid that looked almost transparent if it was for the fact that everything seen through it looked like a photo negative. "Well what do you think?"
  21. "Sharicite is crystallized Share energy. It's useful for most thing's you'd think crystallized energy would be good for. As for why it helps with my headache, that's a long story I'd rather not get into right now." She looked down at the small multicolored gems in her hand. "These aren't terribly large or high quality, but I'm sure I'll find a use for them somewhere. Thank you, by the way." She took a softer breath and looked around the Barracks. "So what are you up to now?"
  22. Spicy HG nodded in thanks as she took the notebook, smearing a few mostly dried flecks of blood on the cover as she did. She opened the book and flipped through a few of the pages revealing various archaic diagrams and what look like lots of math. She finally flipped to a page with a large diagram of a octahedral gem and quickly began reading. After almost a minute of occasionally wincing while she read Spicy HG closed the book and set it to the side. "Alright, let's hope this works." She leaned forward a bit to straighten up then cupped her hands together, one on top of the other. She took a breath and closed her eyes, slowly a light began to grow from within her hands, brighter and brighter until it was easily lighting up most of the Barracks and casting dark shadows all around the room. The light slowly started to fade, and once it was nothing but a dull glow Spicy HG opened her eyes and hands, revealing two small octahedral gems very similar to the ones in the notebook. "Wow. That actually worked." She looked down at the two glittering, multicolored stones in her hands before reaching up to the side of her head again. "And my headache is almost completely gone too." Despite still being a little nauseous she turned and climbed out of the bed to greet the two a little more face-to-face.
  23. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. "Just, forget I said anything about it." She just kind of...sat there for a couple seconds, trying her best to concentrate on something before suddenly looking back up at Solomon. "Wait, can you get a copy of my Oracle's notes on condensing Sharicite? I think that might actually help me here."
  24. Carl stands there turning back and forth with a bit of a confused look on his face. Everyone left, they actually left him here with a pile of food and provisions to carry on his own while they do whatever fight was going on in the square. Fine, whatever. He'd just carry it all by himself over several trips, that is if he didn't fall flat from these dizzy spells. With a short huff Carl started picking up the extra supplies and after he had the biggest stack he could carry he started a slow walk back to the ship, occasionally wavering to this side or that.
  25. Carl looked at Ricewine as he started wandering off. "Eh, do what you will. I'm heading be to the ship before the shore-duty and filth lose me my lunch." With that he rubbed the side of his head and started walking with Zoffy back towards the ship.
