  1. Infernape @ focus sash evs: 128 Attk / 128 Sp attk / 252 Speed nature (+Spd, -Def) - fire blast - HP Ice - Close Combat - earthquake This Infernape > your infernape. This infernape is perfect at breaking stall teams bcause fo its amazing coverage. right now i see that stall gives you problems for lack of a dedicated stallbreaker. fire blast has stab and can hit skarm and ferro. HP Ice can hit dragons as well as gliscor. Close Combat hits chansey, blissey, and air baloon heatran. equake takes care of no air balloon heartran as well as most of tenacruel.
  2. Xatu>crobat. Xatu stops those hazards that cripple any mono flying team. Xatu can also help you set up dual screens, as well as set up sunny day to get rid of rain and sand. Crobat also plays the least vital role in your team so I chose him to be up for the chopping block. Starraptor > Swellow Starraptor has accses to close combat, brave bird, and u turn. killer moves right there and a choice scarf/band set could be used to lead.
  3. I hate when people go off on each other in class whe someone asks a question that another person thinks is stupid. Mind your own buissness, they're just trying to understand the material. stop bullying people and grow up/

no, you're right as far the not paying attention scenario goes. but honestly, they're are sincere questions of not understanding that people still get criticized for. thats when i have a problem. Also, I've foudn out theough personal experience that what you can learn on google can sometimes be completely different from what your teach expects you to know.

  6. What do you mean it isn't going anywhere? the only reason I suggested it was because time and time again there are people who are discontent with evasion being part of our OU. It's obvoiusly not going to go anywhere if people are close minded and aren't open for others opnions. that's when the discussion tends to go nowhere. it can go somewhere if we all state our opinions and cast a vote accordingly. Also, what do you mean laid-down stance? There is no such thing, anything can be suspect to change in our tiers and that is the whole point of this thread if I'm not mistaken. Another thing, are you trying to say that if we ban evasion that something drastic would be banned next? If not, completely disregard the rest of this paragraph. I hate absolutely hate the argument, that If we ban "this", than "that" will be next and it would cause a chain. Are you saying that we shouldn't ban something that clearly doesn't belong in our OU, just because we might ban something that maybe shouldn't have been banned? I'm not even talking about Evasion at this point, just in general i don't think the argument is valid. that's almost the definition of fearing change. Fearing changing one thing for fear of everything else you know changing.
  7. Hey, I have a question. Everyone seems to be worked up about this right? Why wouldn't we just have a poll for all of the forum members on if they want to keep or ban evasion. Both sides of the issue say that the majority of the server is behind them. We can prove what most people want through a simple poll so why not? It doesn't mean it has to be the end all be all and that the winning poll result gets its way, but It will show the auth and such what the community actually wants. I don't know, I could be wrong, but it just seems like the most logical answer to me. Especially since both sides of the argument have been gone through at least 7 times over.
  8. I swear to god i half these trolls actually knew me in real life they'd be fuckin sorry. I sound like a total internet badass

  9. First Glance Team Building Process I wanted to start the team off with one of my favorite defensive cores, Lead Poli and Ferrothorn. This core works great to get hazards up and get a leech seed/toxic off on an opposing weather lead. Next up, I wanted somebody who could abuse the rain, therefore I chose Ludicolo for his excellent coverage. With Swift Swim he is a serious threat to most teams. Here again I wanted something that could abuse the rain, at first I ran Tornadus, but I saw this really cool Volcarona rain set that really turns him into a beast. He replaced Tornadus because he could abuse Hurricane as well as other things, while Tornadus is sort of a one trick pony. Next, I realized that If i'm going to have a Volcarona on the team, I need rapid spin. Volcarona is so SR it's not even funny. Hitmontop took car of the job quite well. He also so brings a few other things to the table that come in handy that I'll be mentioning later. Finally I wanted Some priority. Band Scizor is the way to go with its monster attack stat. His Bullet Punch was all I really needed but he could also super power the shit out of Chansey, which is never a bad thing. Scizor wasn't really working the way I wanted him too. I wanted an extremely powerful priority that could just wreck shit. So i tried out Azumarill. He gets a boost from rain with aqua jet, plus the ability huge power, plus a choice band. Huge attack stat right from the get go. Team In-Depth Politoed (M) @ Leftovers Trait: Drizzle EVs: 252 HP / 172 Def / 4 SAtk / 80 SDef Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk) - Toxic - Scald - Protect - Perish Song Standard Defensive Politoed is Standard. Toxic to toxic the other leads. Scald to not be taunt bait and burn things. Protect to Toxic stall, and Perish Song to trap and kill last pokes and stuff. He works really well with ferro because If I'm up against other weather unducers I just send in Ferro, who can handle ttar and the hippo. I can set up rocks on them or power whip them to death. Against other toeds i scout with protect, and if they are going to toxic i switch to ferrothorn and power whip because ferrothorn is immune to toxic. If they use scald or a move, i keep poli in and Use Toxic. Ferrothorn (F) @ Leftovers Trait: Iron Barbs EVs: 152 HP / 104 Def / 252 SDef Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk) - Leech Seed - Power Whip - Stealth Rock - Spikes Ferrothorn with dual hazards. works fairly well as a special defense tank. Leech seed for mroe recovery and power wip to take down opposing weather inducers as well as not be taunt bait. Core information- see above Volcarona (M) @ Leftovers Trait: Flame Body EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk) - Hurricane - Bug Buzz - Quiver Dance - Giga Drain This set wrecks shit in Rain. Quiver Dance to boost up, which imo is the best boosting move in the game. Hurricane gets 100% accuracy and can OHKO most non defensive pokes in 1 hit. Giga drain is for extra recovery and also hits walls like quiagsire and gastradon hard.Bug Buzz is for stab, and can kill ttar even unboosted. Ludicolo (F) @ Life Orb Trait: Swift Swim EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk) - Ice Beam - Surf - Giga Drain - Focus Blast standard Ludicolo SS set. Ice Beam hits Lando/gliscor. Surf Hits everything hard because of stab/ rain boost/ life orb/ power. Giga Drain for water abosorb pokes like jelli, as well as the ground/water walls. Focus Blast is for ferrothorn. It's usually about a 2HKO. Hitmontop (M) @ Leftovers Trait: Intimidate EVs: 252 Atk / 136 Def / 120 SDef Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - Rapid Spin - Close Combat - Pursuit - Substitute I originally had a set with priority, but Dark Desire reccomended i go with intimidation and close combat. this set has just that, as well as rapi spin so that volcarona doesn't get crushed in 2 turns. Pursuit I gave him because chandelure was giving me problems, so pursuit was very necessary. Azumarill (F) @ Choice Band Trait: Huge Power EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - Aqua Jet - Waterfall - Superpower - Ice Punch Finally we have azumarill who just abuses everyone late game. he comes in as my last poke usually, and can clean up everything with aqua jet. hazards should have racked up enough damage that I shouldn't have any problems. Threats: Jellicent Rapid spinners Chansey other good teams. Okay so there's the team. any advice or help would be much appreciated. Thanks for reading!
  10. Okay, just a couple things First, I think sleep talk is a little bit well... a word you like to use, gimmkiy. It could work, but i think the slot could be better filled. Second, On Jirachi, I would make him a physical attacker instead of your current set. instead of thunder, you could give him body slam. This way you could invest in attack evs making iron head stronger too. also, If you were to do that I would change the nature to (+SpD, -SpAtk)

  15. This team would work freakishly well in rain, but you said you didn't want weather... so i'll leave it at that. Other than that, I really have nothing to say about the team. the only thing I thought as I was going about the team was that you needed pursuit because of your chandy weakness, but it seems you have that covered with Scizor. Just watch out because if Chandy does come in and trap your scizor, your pretty much screwed for the rest o the battle. Overall its an excellent team, I would give it a 9/10. Great Job!

  17. Soul Caliber > SSB anyways... yeah i agree with Ikaru, Roy needs to make a comeback.
  18. I think maybe some of you guys are missing the point of the team. This is no one's fault but my own, so i'll give it another shot. the team's idea put simplest, is too lay rocks, then take care of steel pokemon with magnezone, then just go all out offensive with dragons. once the threat of steel types is gone, it turns into an all out hyper offense team.
  19. Okay, So I'm going to start out by saying this team isn't that great. It get's about 60% wins on Reborn, which is no offense, nothing to strive for. the team is based around the concept of dragmag, which uses steels and dragons to sweep. you seem steel types block the weakness's of dragons which include only ice and dragon. this way you can sweep with your dragons until either another dragon or a Pokemon with ice beam comes in, in which case you would switch to a steel Pokemon. This give you an easy set up the next turn when they switch. well now that you know the strategy lets get on with the team. @ Leftovers Trait: Justified EVs: 252 Atk / 64 Def / 192 Spd Naive Nature (+Spd, -SDef) - Stealth Rock - Stone Edge - Close Combat - Iron Head Coablion here is my lead. he has stealth rock which lets me pull off a much easier sweep. dem focus sashes (that i use to be obsessed with...). stone edge, close combat, and iron head are all to just hit the opponent hard on the switch in. nothing really too fancy, the set works imo, but i could probably do better. (F) @ Choice Scarf Trait: Moxie EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk) - Outrage - Dragon Claw - Aerial Ace - Earthquake standarcd, choice scarf moxie mence is standard, basically just sweeps late game once i take care of all the other threats such as steel types... (F) @ Lum Berry Trait: Multiscale EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk) - Dragon Dance - Dragon Claw - Aerial Ace - ExtremeSpeed Dragonite is also very standard... except for aerial ace. a lot of the time i run into rain team on the ladder. I also run into breloom a lot on the server. The only reason people run fire punch on dknight is for breloom and steel types. Since my next pokemon traps and takes care of steel types, this guy doesn't need it. Instead, he gets a stab move that has 100% accuracy. @ Expert Belt Trait: Magnet Pull EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk) - Hidden Power [Fire] - Thunderbolt - Flash Cannon - Volt Switch Magnezone is the Pokemon that makes this team possible. his name is actually part of the strategy, (DragMAG). his job on this team is to trap and skill steel types. he can do this through his nifty ability of magnet pull which doesn't allow steel types to switch out when I send Magnezone in. hidden power fire takes care of the common steel types like scizor, ferrothorn, foretress, etc. the problems are scarfed genesect because of speedy flamethrower, but usually i can lure him in with my next two pokemon and make a dent with surf. thunderbolt is for skarm and water pokes which makes him an awesome rain counter. (F) @ Choice Specs Trait: Levitate EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk) - Draco Meteor - Psyshock - Surf - Dragon Pulse Latias here is one of the lati twins I use for special sweeping. Draco meteor is to cause big dents early to mid game. Dragon pulse is preferable to late game if needed so that i don't lose the special attack. I don't usually end up using him late game unless Salamence is done. Surf is there to hit steels ans stuff that resist dragons and also to hit things that its super effective against. Psyshock is there to deal with chansey and blissey, although it does a pretty poor job of it. The reason i chose to use specs on this twin was that she is bulkier and has the defenses to take a hit and respond with a hit. although, her speed is great enough that she doesn't even take the hit in the first place usually. (M) @ Choice Scarf Trait: Levitate EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk) - Draco Meteor - Surf - Trick - Psyshock Latios is the other special sweeping twin. He gets a scarf set because his defenses are less then latias but gets more sp attk and speed in return i believe. pretty much the sam e move explination, except for trick. I gave him trick because most of the time dragon pulse without specs doesn't cause the damage i needed it too. this also helps out with chansey and blissey, but again... they are the bane of this team. Threat List Skarmory- only with shed shell Chansey Blissey

This is something japanese we're talking about... Japan can't be called predictable unless you've you're well versed in the area of interest. There is a slight predictability if you consider that main characters rarely die.
