I got a day off today, though it is summer, so all days are day offs until the half of June.

are there really places everybody can leave their bike and fetch another one when coming back? I've been to Amsterdam once and the amount of unsecured bikes left me wondering.

@CrossImpact well, you're not really supposed to just take a random, unlocked bike as you please. However, there is a company that allows you to take a bike (of that company) and use it. Then, someone else might take that bike because he/she also pays that company to use their bike. This is quite rare but it exists. I think mostly people just steal bikes... Sadly. But then again they mostly steal bikes that aren't locked. Some people just can't be bothered to lock their bike. They probably think: well, if it gets stolen, I'll just buy a new one for 10 euros. There are actually stores that steal bikes and then sell them again for 10 euros...
