  1. For the Claydol I have been told that beam moves are boosted by 50%. When I tested this the amount leaned less, perhaps around 30% boost. I also noticed that using Cosmic power also increases Special attack by one stage, this is because special attack is the same as defence so any increase in defence gives the same incease in Special attack. A Bold natured Claydol with max Evs in defence boosted by a couple of cosmic powered is unstoppable.
  2. Tried it on a Graveller with sturdy, both hits were super effective, so no sign of fire typing.
  3. I have been testing out the Typhlosion Crest on the Gearen Audino trainer. Using slash and burn without the crest deals just over a quarter damage, rock slide about one quarter. With the crest, slash and burn does around half damage and somewhat strangely there is a second hit that does about one eight damage. Rock slide goes from one quarter damage to half damage with the crest. When using the Crested slash and burn on water Pokemon the move is still described as super effective so I don't think secondary fire typing applies.
  4. It appears that Typhlosion can learn slash and burn which is a custom grass TM physical move with base 90. It seems that it does not gain additional fire typing as I have tested it on water types and is still super effective. Could be very useful against rock and water types that Typhlosion can outspeed particularly those with a 4x weakness to grass. Admittedly even a boosted STAB eruption is mighty even when resisted.
  5. That is really useful. Typhloson suffers from a very limited special attacking move pool, so being able to give it some physical moves is great.
  6. What does attack scales with special attack actually mean? I read it as your attack stat is the same as your special attack.
  7. I changed the weather to windy, went back to the building and the TM is still firmly fixed to the roof.
  8. I got enough Pokemon for the three hundred rewards and obtained Electrium Z, Galladite and Froakie. Perhaps the order is random.
  9. Best place for attack IV's is Bouffalant on Route 1 (2 att). Tauros give 1 in attack and one in speed. No wild Pokemon to get in the way, just keep popping back to the nature reserve to reset. If you are near the end of the game then Alolan Exeggutor give 2 pts in the Desert.
  10. In the new update there is a Pokemon egg that appears abandoned, but is in fact not. The player defeats the parents to obtain the egg. When this happened I felt terrible for the parents. Is there any way I can make it up to them, perhaps breed another egg and return it? It would be great if you could because I'm not sure I can live with the guilt.
  11. It seems to me the 'future sight vision' could do with being shown for a little longer. Or maybe have the option to keep it shown until the player clicks off it. Especially for the slow witted like me.
  12. What do you mean 'future sight gives you a clue'? I've clicked on every pile of glass (made them go deep purple), used the arrow keys in every possible direction on every single glass pile and none of them move. Perhaps I should go out and buy a sledgehammer.
  13. I was exploring the Mirage Tower and found the Dragonium Z crystal in the pot adjacent to the lemonade seller Marcello. Later on I returned to Marcello with an Alolan Exeggutor in my party and this time there is an offer to purchase blue moon lemonade for 1000000. Of course the max money a player can acquire is 999999, so the item cannot be purchased. So I was wondering if anyone has been able to obtain the blue moon lemonade and if so what does it do? Interestingly the description of the blue moon lemonade is that is that it restores the hp of a Pokemon by 103 points. 103 happens to be the number of exeggutor in the Pokedex. Marcello, I believe, is also one of the game's creators.
  14. Yeah I know where this is and am also perplexed by it. seems to be on a rock that you is blocked.

    Ep17 Zorua?

Thank you. I have found him in two more places and now have Zorua
  16. For those of you twiddling their thumbs I have come with a point scoring challenge mode for Reborn. Certain battles are designated as point scoring. Gym battles, rival battles and so forth. The idea is that the lower the players Pokemon are in terms of level the more points are scored. penalty points are incurred for Pokemon faints and usage of healing items. I have posted a link to the first episode on my Youtube Chanel.

    Ep17 Zorua?

I went up there as you have described and Corey was up there and promptly jumped off the roof. Does this trigger a hide and seek with Corey at this stage of the game?
  18. Surf south along the river at route 3, there is another hiding on the land on the west side before you reach route 2.
  19. Found One under a bed in the cells in Blacksteeple Castle. (Far right)
  20. Reborn and Rejuvenation are designed to be challenging. Trying to defeat the gym leaders who are armed with high powered moves with mediocre Pokemon and moves is part of that challenge. A player has to be innovate and intelligent. Dishing out decent moves to a player early on takes away a lot of the difficulty. Oh I love your custom moves.
  21. I managed to find a way around this. I removed the audio folder completely, played through the section involving the Volcanion and then reinstated the audio file afterwards. Most peculiar.
  22. Second batch of Pokemon riddles to amuse or annoy you. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GEKgLnAKhWk
  23. Hi guys hoping you can help. I am at the point in the game where you are in the generator room in Xen base. As soon as I encounter the Volcanion the game crashes. I found this problem in the forums and the fix is to implement the patch (v10). I am a Mac user so the only way I can apply the patch (as far as I know) is to replace all the files in my game files with those in the patch, which I have done. However the game still crashes at the same point. The only problem I can see is that I am saved in the generator room and am trapped in there and cannot return to a Poke Centre to apply the patch. My Rxdata file is attached. Game.rxdata Game.rxdata
  24. You are quite right, I made a mistake on that one. Although a switch is another electrical reference. And you flip a switch
  25. Twiddling your fingers waiting for the next Reborn update. Fear not I have made some Pokemon riddles to help pass the time. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0sLN6Y6S2es
