  1. Andre rolls his eyes. It's like Masaru didn't get that he really wouldn't mind fighting him. Nothing better than a good fight. But that might just be Andre being weird again. With that said he shrugs. "Alright, whatever you say man... You know, I thought those with dragon blood were supposed to be inherently interested in dominating others however they can. I would have thought you'd be into the idea." Andre is apparently still itching for a fight. This isn't going to end well.
  2. Andre raises his hands defensively. "Hey, a simple no would suffice. I mean, I know it's an annoying thing to have happen to your healer but it's not all that bad. Hell, it's really usefull actually. Matt used it quite a bit and pretty much beat the monolith by himself."
  3. Andre blinks in surprise. It didn't really seem like a technique from his world but it was familiar all the same. Not really surprising given dragons a fire element goes together like alcoholism and being a hero. Okay, maybe that's just Andre, but the point stands. "... So does that berserk targets? Because that would be good against mages and the like."
  4. "It would be interesting to see. Although I have a feeling that I've seen something like it back home already. Probably... I'm probably thinking of Matt. He uh... he's a bit of a sword nut. Kind of scary..." Andre cringes as he considers Matt's collection. Though he wouldn't ever say it, Andre's always been a little worried about Matt going nuts. And not just because he'd probably be near the top of his hit list.
  5. Oddly enough, Andre still seems rather annoyed. He unfolds his arms. "A simple yes or no would have sufficed rather than talking down to me. I was asking if it was possible, nothing else."
  6. Andre frowns. He might not be an expert but he didn't like the tone Mar was using with him. He's seen enough magic that a simple yes or no would work. All he needed to do was think of what shape the ball should take and make it do so, no childish manipulation needed. Andre folds his arms as he glares at his ball, willing it silently to do what he says. And it does, shaping itself into an angry frowny face. Both the face and Andre look to Mar, their expression shared.
  7. Andre nods. He practices a bit more, throwing it up in the air and dribbling it like a basketball. He scratches his chin before turning to Mar. "So if I think it's got a dough like texture then I could shape it like that?"
  8. Andre looks at it intently. After a moment he concentrates and the ball moves towards him. He raises an eyebrow and it raises likewise. Andre smiles and holds out his hands to cradle the ball slightly. Really it was more to focus his idea of the ball's movements with a visualization. He's surprisingly adept at it for someone who isn't magic according to himself. He looks to Mar for approval at his attempt.
  9. Andre blinks at the display. He was surprised by the adeptness of the woman who clearly wasn't used to doing such things. He hits stop on the video since he got the needed film of the expert. He'll ask for more demonstration later if he wants to further his understanding. He looks at the ball then to Mar. "May I attempt to try as well Mar? I think I understand it."
  10. Andre looks rather annoyed at being ignored but takes out his phone to film the orc anyways. He silently wonders when Lexiel would be back. She could put up a fight without trying to murder him at least...
  11. Andre's look sours considerably. Apparently, Liliya had stumbled upon a sore subject for him. "No, it was more like me and my buds went out and beat up every single thing that looked at us funny until we found a recently summoned Godcat, I'm sure you can guess what they are, and kicked the ever loving shit out of her. Or rarely we go up against a shit load of enemies while flying someplace so we get into danmaku fights. Danmaku, by the way, is a fancy word for us flying somewhere and using magic to shoot enemies out of the sky while a lot of enemies shoot a LOT of magic at us or one big enemy shoots even more magic than usual at us. Anyways, we don't get paid at all aside from the profits of selling off parts we take from things we kill or doing quests for people... Or from robbing the corpses... Don't even get much recognition for it actually... N-not that I mind much, I'm a hero. I don't need to be recognized or paid for my work, I just do what needs to be done." Andre sighs and scratches the back of his head. "Sorry, just a pet peeve. Anyways, I don't actually have any magic naturally. I imitate it after studying people who can use it through more mundane means. Which means I mostly am just really strong and use that to hit things really hard. I can Limit Break at least. Limit breaks are a technique where you basically unleash a ton of power all at once from accumulated pain. It's also used as a method for bombing during danmaku but danmaku is a bit of a special case. So I could teach that... Actually, I'm ready to limit break right now if we get into a big fight. My currently available ability is one I learned off Jo back home. It's uh... basically you wouldn't see it when I use it but if you have a... Stand? I think that's what he called it. You'd see me basically summon an orange dude who punches things so fast and hard they set on fire. It's pretty neat."
  12. Andre blinks. He looks really thoughtful for a while before shrugging. "They just kind of scoot around you know? And if you think that's bizarre, they also hold shields and weapons on a regular basis."
  13. "I figured if you were actually interested you'd ask for an explanation. Anyways, cats where I come from are about this big..." Andre indicates it to be a bit less than waist high on him. "And they used to be this modern civilization or there abouts. Humans, according to Godcat at least, were created to be their slaves. Naturally, as all top of the food chain creatures do, the cats grew complacent and really pissed off Godcat with how lazy and fat they were. So Godcat is like "Nah, this ain't gonna keep going on mate." and so she took the cats' legs, arms, and tails. This had the most likely unintended effect of causing them to be quickly overtaken by humans in pretty much all areas. Nowadays they're mostly in scattered tribes with the occasional fort to support them. Not much more than an annoyance for adventurers like us." Andre pauses and takes a sip of energy drink. Then he looks up expectantly.
  14. "Do you have cats where you come from? Like, real cats not the limbless ones that just kind of attack people on sight. Not that we don't kind of deserve it since we ended up reducing their civilizations to ruins the first chance we got.... But then, they kept us as slaves and made us do pretty much all their manual labor for thousands of years.... Uh, I'm getting off topic. Woops." Andre doesn’t bother bitching about being ignored. Apparently none of these people came from a world where manners are common place.
  15. "Wow, you guys have much nicer worlds than I do. Most towns are like, twenty people tops before the local wildlife needs nearly constant culling." Despite the less than happy words, Andre sounds somewhat excited. If the creatures on other worlds don't commonly go out and get kill then that means that according to the BS rules of magical power, the creatures would get older and be more powerful on average. Which means that they would be harder to fight and thus more rewarding. Of course, all these conclusions are happening in his head so the others would just see Andre slowly beginning to hop up and down as he gets more excited by the thought.
  16. Andre pauses to look at the people discussing population sizes. He looks rather surprised to say the least.
  17. Andre shrugs. "Sure sounds good." Andre starts to haul his barrel outside like Mar said.
  18. Bro, you know I'm always down for magic school RPs. And a magic college RP would be refreshing from the highschool ones I've been in and seen.
  19. Andre notes the orc and offers him a single warning. "Yo Mar, catch." Andre tosses one of the cannons to the orc before turning to answer the girl's question. "There were some all at the top of the castle. I figured since the were busted I'd just lug them down to the smeltery for someone to fix up. Or if no one wanted to do that I had some plans to make them into a weapon... Maybe combine it with my hand wraps. Make them cannon and canon."
  20. Andre waves at the two women, cannons still on his shoulders. Maybe he could just throw them at enemies. That would really fuck them up.
  21. Andre pauses and turns to watch Mar. He opens his mouth to say something before sighing and continuing on his way. No point in protesting against what seems to be an in coming case of animal cruelty.
  22. Anyone in pretty much any part of the castle can most likely see Andre walking down the hall, two (broken) cannons over his shoulder. Privately he's considering just forging himself a cannon fist and not telling anyone about the broken cannons until after. Bomb element is really useful most of the time, hardly anything resists it and all. And there is that weird shit that Mar left....
  23. Andre shrugs and after a couple moments of looking around pulls outs out a notepad and pen. After jotting down a quick note for Artithia, he leaves to wander a bit. Eventually he finds a clearly busted cannon type thing. Most likely something actually a bit more useful and sophisticated since the castle seems to have electricity to host it. He looks around it a bit more before going to grab a decently sized rock. He's gonna knock the bolts off the cannons proper before taking them to the smeltery to have someone fix up.
  24. "I mean, a heavy spar would require more than one strike from either side in my opinion. I mean, it's meant to be a learning experience using actual techniques in practice so... yeah. Anyways, she shouldn't be in much pain when she wakes up as long as the potions do their job. Pain is just your body's way of saying that shit's fucked ya know? So if the shit gets unfucked then the pain goes away." That's a fairly obvious thing to explain, but Andre seems to be the type that regularly gets his shit fucked. Probably messes with his head. At least it's not in an apparently bad way given he's very gentle in his work with Artithia. One of those Gentle Giant types in a way.
