Aquila raises his hands after a few moments of confused silence.

"Yeah, we got picked up by some guy that called himself Doctor Doom. It was really weird but he seems nice. Gave me a new shield since I lost my old one." Aquila gestures to the shield at his feet.

Aquila finally takes off his helmet, revealing the rather nasty scaring along his face as he takes a seat. He sets his shield in front of himself. "So, to clarify for myself... those were beings from another planet? I assume they must be if my shield reacted to them. It's kind of disappointing if they are, I always imagined that beings from other planes could take me in a fair fight."

Arminius stares at the eye, confusion clear on his face. "That's... that's new. And disgusting." Arminius Inspires Fingers. Fingers bashes a servant of Cthulhu.

"Maybe for you, but I tend to blow up my problems before they know I'm there. It's the lazy way, I know." Arminius says in response to Kusuke's jab.

"I'm starting to think we're bad luck with how often we get into fights." Arminius and Fingers will join the fight.

Arminius shrugs and takes a seat. No real reason not too after all. He decides to get right down to business. "There's a bunch of boats with what I assume are orcs or goblins sailing towards this island. Should we be worried?"

Aquila heads for the flying machine. He does not comment on it being black magic fuckery to him in essence.

Arminius shrugs at Calvera. This didn't look like it would be a terrible idea at least, so they might as well go with them. Even if they have a shitty sense of timing.

"Hey, look over here! No armor and no weapons out why don't you try hitting me eh!?" Arminius tries to get the remaining Eye to attack him so he can use Mourner's Ice on it. Fingers attacks zombie A for 1d4+STR.

"Given the performance of the majority of their troops I'd say they're the ones with a disadvantage in terms of equipment..." Aquila says, sounding a little pouty about his equipment being talked down on. "Oh yeah, we were looking for you guys anyways. We got your message and came as quick as we could."

"Typically peace offerings can't be mistaken for not wanting to die." Arminius says, clearly making a joke. Arminius Mass Inspires everyone. Then using his second action he Inspires Frostbrute. Fingers uses 'Ere we go, giving herself +STR more STR next turn. LOADOUT

Aquila looks around the battlefield, his face not visible for obvious reasons. However, someone that knew him would conclude that he was really, really pissed off. That tends to happen when someone asks if that's the best he can do and then immediately die. It's more insulting than if they lived really, because at least then he could show them that it was in fact not the best he could do. Growling with barely contained rage he turns to the templar. "I'm going to assume you guys are with that X-com thing?" Please be enemies, please be enemies, please be enemies...

Aquila looks around. Seeing no more enemies he runs outside. He steps towards the Archon but something stops him. He suddenly points at one of the healthy captains. "You should have run." Aquila marks Healthy captain two as he strids menacingly towards them then he attacks them twice.

Arminius tilts his head towards Fingers at Alyssa's question. "She and yeah, got four of them I can cycle through. The others are a Gremlin named Piglet and an undead Wyvern I'm calling Sindragosa. Fingers is tough though so I keep her for muscle."

Arminius chuckles with a roll of his eyes. "No offense, but we should probably save that until we know what's going on. Getting caught with your pants figuratively down sucks but that's nothing compared to it happening lierally." Arminius says jokingly. He takes a breath before summoning Fingers with a snap.

"I figure if you aren't coming back in time to stop me then I'm not doing to poorly." Arminius snarks at Kusuke. He looks around before sighing. "That was rude. Sorry."

Arminius nods again. He looks around before speaking. "Well, looks like we're waiting on someone then. Unless the multiverse decided to drop us off and let us figure it out ours selves..." Arminius looks up to see where the sun is in the sky.

Arminius nods. He looks around a bit before turning back to Leo. "Did you see any civilization on the way here? Because it looks like we're just in the middle of a forest."

Arminius steps off the bus. With wave he speaks to Leo. He doesn't have a minion out yet since the man isn't exactly intimidating. "You from around here?"

Arminius looks down on the ships. "Large beasts and native peoples it looks like. Perhaps they're goblins or orcs? It would match the general tribal theme and the skin colorings."

"A Valkyrie? The gods are truely on our side! DEUS VULT!" Aquila charges (and marks) the Stun Lancer before hitting him with an attack on his groin. He follows it up by attacking their face.

Aquila smiles. "Sure I'll do that but I need an answer to a quick question. Are you guys Advent?" Aquila starts to raise his shield and free hand. He could always grab his flail when he charges after all.

Aquila rolled his eyes under his helmet. Without a word he starts towards the lights.
