  1. "My hearing? A bit better than human standard. I never saw a reason to upgrade. Sonic weapons and car alarms are far too common back home."
  2. "Most forms of art are pleasing to me. I have lived long enough to learn to enjoy what the generations bring for their own merits. But I find few forms as satisfying as a good book."
  3. Alexandria pops the top off her bottle, sticks a finger in, and then inserts the wet finger into her mouth. "Hm." Having a finger in her mouth doesn't seem to impede her ability to talk. "This shouldn't harm any living being I've encountered, unless they drowned in it. But I am incapable of detecting detrimental magic. If this is a healing potion, it doesn't seem to work on me. Not unexpected. Tastes like used sock, though." She frees her finger and corks the bottle. "Still, it could be useful if I'm to spend time around this many organics. Somebody's bound to get themselves dismembered sooner or later."
  4. The hologram vanishes in a wash of fading static. "I am Alexandria, the Primus Councillor. I have many names and many titles, but these are the only ones that matter. Well, in my own opinion at any rate."
  5. Alexandria projects a hologram of a huge, white rabbit in a waistcoat hopping into the building. The image is slightly grainy and monochromatic.
  6. "I am a gravitational anomaly," Alexandria observes mildly, "So are Eon the dragon and It That Embraces the... thing. I do not know how they do it, but I am constructed from supernaturally dense metals."
  7. "Somebody tried to knife me once," Alexandria reminisces airily, "It tickled. And you, no hard cover. We don't have an unlimited supply of medicine, and I enjoy his company."
  8. Alexandria follows inside the building, which creaks omenously but holds her weight. She doesn't have any shopping to do.
  9. "So there's a machine on the other side that detects gold and tears no matter what universe you are in and then sends you books irrespective of your location? You are not making this sound less magical. "
  10. "You wave your hands, and books appear to do your bidding with no detectable force connecting them. When you ignore the laws of physics for a thematic set of superhuman abilities that's magic." "And until he proves he cannot be trusted beyond a shadow of a doubt, no one is going to kill him. Or anyone else without due cause. "
  11. "When you attacked Visrii for no discernable reason and were concussed for your efforts your magical focus was confiscated to prevent you from attacking anyone else. And that blood comment? That is exactly why I am keeping you as far from the locals as I can manage."
  12. "...And you're a blood mage too," Alexandria face-palms at Solomon's words, "Why am I not surprised? Use your own blood and tears if you really need it. You're human, and extradimensional here. We're all extradimensional here. And if it will keep you from convincing the locals to try to lynch us I can shape the metal you require with my nano forge."
  13. To be perfectly honest, he's made himself so spectacularly unlikable that nobody bothered. Full power megalomania is not the way to make friends with anyone, and he's suggested/thought about killing or exploiting the pants off everyone he meets. Really coming across as an evil character there.
  14. "The animals... I believe I have seen them somewhere before," Alexandria muses, "But it was some time ago. Retrieving the memory may take a while. When you get to be my age, recalling older experiences requires a search engine and an archive trawl."
  15. Alexandria prepares an action. If inter-party violence begins again, she will attempt to separate the fighters with her hard-light barrier.
  16. "I greatly hope they have multiple tasks that require our attention," Alexandria says, "We were likely summoned here for an important reason, as we are all highly capable beings. However, the problem with simply summoning a large group of 'heroes', which is usually what this sort of spell is keyed towards, is that part of the definition of being a hero is to have a strong, independent personality. Put simply, most of us think ourselves best suited to lead the group. Splitting into smaller teams will reduce interpersonal friction, and likely make us more effective."
  17. "Defragmentation complete!" Alexandria announces brightly, "I should now be receptive to It That Embraces telepathic communication without needing to clean corrupted files for hours afterwards!" She looks around, taking in the unconscious guys, greatly different surroundings, and angel. "Huh. Maybe I should have waited on that. Checking sensor logs... Hm. Well, that's mildly disappointing. I think I have some Concussion-B-Gone left over from the last time I worked with organics. Unless anyone competent thinks it's a bad idea, I am going to give some to the unknown. But not to Solomon. He deserves his headache."
  18. Alexandria follows Leon at her best possible speed. That is to say, a leisurely walk.
  19. "I came into being on a planet colonized by humanity. I actually served as its Senator to the local interstellar government for ten years, a very long time ago," Alexandria shares, "Homer had been dead for over four thousand years by then, but his works did survive until they could be transcribed into books and passed down." "These 'heartless' could be dangerous, but information on any unusual threats would also be of great value. There is nothing to prevent us from being attacked on the way to his camp and the promised explanations."
  20. "Do you know of another? I was under the impression that it was not a common name in modern times," Alexandria quips, "He was a fantastic poet, although his works suffer somewhat when translated. Excellent commentaries on human nature, unmarred by the sensationalism of later works. Well, relatively speaking of course."
  21. "What is a heartless? And Nobodies?" Alexandria affects an amused snort, which sounds horribly forced. "Someone's been reading too much Homer."
  22. "That is not stealth," Alexandria points out, "That is screaming 'I am a wizard! Cower before me!' at the top of your lungs. I am more subtle than that. Which for the record is absurd."
  23. "Slag it. They did go on ahead. That could be bad; we'll be lucky if she doesn't alienate everyone she meets," Alexandria sighs, venting air noisily. "Here I thought I'd be having a break from covering for... strong personalities. In that case, unless anyone else here has diplomatic training, I should accompany the scouting party. We'll probably need it badly."
