  1. "I've actually done all of those... But I've still got them at our base, functional." L33t says as everyone follows Mirri to the Boat Graveyard to supervise and discuss further.
  2. Mar takes the moments leading up to her snapping to calmly walk behind one of the many steel walls nearby from the hastily erected enhancements, upgrades, and work areas sprawled around. He'll need to clean that up sooner or later now that the Siege Weapons for the Castle are complete. "Tell me when you are done, Tesla." he says simply, knowing she is unlikely to stop trying simply because he asked. It's honestly surprising to him that someone with her technological savvy would succumb to the urge to simply blast something when she could be assembling something stronger to truly blast it open.
  3. Early Morning Harry slaps bandages and goop onto Lilly, restoring her health by 15, and leaving her in much better straits. He then contacts Dragon, who informs him that the area was already cleared out a few hours ago in preparation for your demolition. Thankfully. She also informs him that she doesn't exactly have the world's hospitals laid out before her. He'll probably need to go to a clinic like anyone else. Proditor, meanwhile, drops a boat on the beach, Stocking the Beached Boats with 20% more health, and removing that health from the Southern Boats. (12, 3) Ren plucks Frigus out of the water, setting them next to himself, and as a result, allowing him to regain his icy footing. It seems Ice is not ideal for keeping one's balance. (14, 13) (11, 10) (11, 4) Kusuke is able to rewind Satomi, leaving her with nothing but disorientation and ghost pains of the previously disturbing irritant of bleeding internally. Kusuke gains a Bloodsoaked Timefucked Metal Fragment in the process. Satomi Waits patiently, recovering and removing her Nausea in the process! Lilly uses Mend on the Ailing Ador, recovering 5 of his health in the process. Eva Enters the encounter, and switches to Wave Mode. Frigus meanwhile, surrounds himself with a protective barrier, and then heals his health, recovering 10 Health! Theme Status -- The pair look startled at the new developments, but L33t Deigns to answer Arminius. "Heck if I know, your minions look like some kind of generic fantasy fet-" He's stopped by Uber, who uses his power to gain a mastery of Tact, and forcibly shut up L33t. "We're unfamiliar with wherever you may be from." "It looks like they are having at it. Are we still having this meeting about commissioning L33t?" Uber fairly asks.
  4. "Only one is necessary" Blue says, dragging the golem by the sword over to him, and orbiting. The golem is dragged around as he flies uncontrollably around the incoming attacks, presumably slamming into some of them.
  5. This time, Blue simply uses Aura Hydrokinesis, pulling the magically coated blade into his psychic grip, and attempting to overpower the golem's strength. If it were to strike, those sensitive to the effect would note time being frozen for a moment as he inputs a great deal of force into the blade before releasing his grip on the frozen time.
  6. Early Morning Kusuke uses Temporal Slice with Satomi's Helping Hand guiding him, Cutting several of the northern Boats in half! Theme Alteration The way he did it, the boat's halves were rewound into each other, causing a massive Explosion. Flaming incredibly dense fragments of steel scatter for miles around, along with a huge wave of water and a cloud of steam that fully encompasses the area. It seems Satomi's calculations were perfectly usable, if lacking in safety precautions. (15, 18) Frigus is blasted by metal as he stands in the middle of the bay, taking (1d20=16) 16 damage as a chunk of metal punches him in the stomach and knocks him flat on his ass in the water. His ass, not being enchanted to freeze water, slips beneath the waves, hanging him upside down in the water by his feet. (7, 14) Satomi takes (1d20=11) 11 Damage as a fragment catches her in the stomach. (14, 19) Lilly takes (1d20=19) 19 Damage, as a spinning pipe bashes her in the temple, sending her to the ground! (4, 18) Ador takes (1d20=12) 12 Damage as the cloud of Steam washes over him, boiling hot. (14, 7) Ren avoids being harmed, the metal fragments peppering him failing to do much. (6, 5) Proditor takes a reduced (1d20=5(/2=2.5)) 2 Damage, as one of the red hot flakes smacks into his unprotected arm. (14, 7) Kusuke, despite being at the epicenter of the explosion, takes only (1d20=1(/2=0.5) 0 damage. He somehow avoided nearly all harm by simply diving beneath the water like mythbusters told him to. Every single piece of metal in the Boat Graveyard is pulped nicely, taking 50% of their health in damage as the honest to god explosion rips through everything nearby. (3, 7) Even the Giant Tanker at the mouth of the bay isn't immune to this assault. (100) The ground is littered with glowing pieces of extraordinarily heavy steel, they constantly cycle through their entire lifetime at random, turning from ore to rusted clumps to shining and perfectly polished steel rapidly, sometimes multiple timelines overlap one another, flashing between bright and dark colors rapidly enough to make someone dizzy just looking at them. Proditor and Frigus attempt once more to lift one of the half ruined boats out of the water, (17, 2) This time, they succeed with ease, the power of teamwork shines in them. A heavily damaged boat now sits safely within Proditor's Psychic Grip, the edges of it's new damage flash like the glittery metal caused by the previous explosion. Theme Status -- (4, 7) While L33t is Ecstatic at seeing Mirri's face, Uber remains Skeptical. "Oh, u-uh no, not specifically, none of my stuff decays away or anything like that, but I can only maintain my tech, I can't replace any parts that break." L33t Responds, trying to get his head in the game despite seeing an honest to god mandalorian in front of him. "And you're right, two of my earliest inventions were a Star Trek replicator and a costume machine. It lets all of our costumes be made out of textured graphine." "Uber's been doing nearly as much "Tinkering" as I have with some of my more useful junk since I've started burning out. Our latest Sly Cooper stream didn't even have any of my tinkertech in it, just carbon fiber stuff and textured graphine." "I'm really not sure about trying wet tinkering though, considering I can't make something more than once, and a catastrophic failure in wet tinkering gets you kill-orders." He sounds nervous. "You know we're not exactly big fish, right? Heroes won't want anything to do with us, and neither will any villains significant enough to have their own tinkers." "Toybox laughed us right out of one of their conventions." Uber says with no uncertain amount of spite. And then the bay exploded.
  7. L33t explains. "Well, it USED to be that I just couldn't make the exact same thing twice, but eventually, it kinda branched out, I couldn't make a Fire Gun, and then also make a flamethrower, I couldn't make anything that had a part in it I used in something else, as long as it was tinkertech. Now I mostly try to re-purpose what I have, when I can't think of anything entirely new to make." "Sometimes that doesn't work either." He sounds spiteful as he says this. "I could probably count on one hand things I haven't tried yet. Frequency Tinkering, Software Tinkering, Wet Tinkering." he just shrugs, giving up on that line of discussion. "Tattletale said you guys were for real. We want in. You give us communication and recording rights for our stream and personal use, you get our services." "I'd like some proof first though. She's never burned us on info in the past, but this is beyond what I'd call believable."
  8. Early Morning Satomi, Lilly, Ador, Ren, Proditor, and Kusuke enter the encounter! Kusuke Starts by lashing out at some nearby Debris with his newfound Chronofragging ability. (13, 15) Beached Boats nearby clang angrily, shrapnel flying off of them as parts of them are rewound into one another. They take 3% of their collective health in damage as one of the boats is eventually reduced to a pile of scrap metal. (3, 6) Kusuke's overdesigned coat blocks the majority of the metal fragments made as a result of this. (4, 3) Prodditor tries to lift a boat, exercising his psionic power, his grip slips, and it crashes back into the waves. Southern Boats take 1% of their collective health in damage as one of the boats is jostled around, rusty plates falling into the water. Theme Status -- The pair regard the party with surprise, scrutiny, and intensely nervous and shifty behavior after that. "Uhh, Yeah." One of them says, looking to tattletale expectantly, she takes the guise of a cat who just got the cream as she walks over and talks with them privately for a moment. (7, 10) (19, 12) A short period passes, before she walks back. The one in the Jedi Getup looks suspicious, while the other radiates a posture which is absolutely giddy. "Good news! Uber and L33t are going to be helping you clear the Boat Graveyard!" She says, clapping each one on the back as she names them, providing the needed distinction. "It seems they already planned on running a little show with the party as the centerpiece, and, with some discussion, I think we can come to a suitable agreement before they get started." She says, pointing looks at both of them that seem to cow them into line. "Yeah, I make things, when they work, they work pretty well." The now idenitified L33t responds to Harry's Question. "I can't really duplicate anything I make without it failing horribly though. So it's a bit hit-and-miss." Tattletale decides to explain quietly, considering the importance the gang before her seems to place on trust. (For whatever reason.) "They saw you all running around on the news, and mistook you for imitators yourselves. Apparently their half baked plan was to one-up you with an impromptu competition-slash-robbery of the scrap."
  9. Dackly, after having waved off everything else, finally begins her last project. Her eye is starting to ache from tiredness, and a yawn escapes her lips. Gozer dumps out a pile of Armor, Weapons and Metal Scraps, which Dackly looks lovingly at, before beginning to shape the hard steel with her bare hands as though it were soft putty. Before long, 9 Gleaming steal Halberd Heads sit before her, shaped like Hawks, with Winged Blades, Beaked Spearpoints, and a set of Talons gripping a steel ball hammer. She attempts to bless them with Nyx's Power, sacrificing her remaining Emeralds. "Nyx, hear my call, I beg of you! Well, not begging, you know, Like, Asking, I guess? Politely, of course. And here's some stuff." Her reverent call rings out, but something is wrong. The halberds glow with darkness for a moment, before exploding in a blinding light. One of them flies towards her, along with the rest of them flying around. It takes her a moment to realize they are chasing the torches littered around the room, before she flings spears of darkness at the halberds, wreathing them in the blinding energy. "Fucking Wrong Numbers!" she shouts to the heavens, picking up the darkness embroiled weapons. She dumps one of the weapons into the crackpot, along with an angry skeleton, which she rips out of a pocket in her vest. The weapon and skeleton melt into liquid, which she pours onto the Knuckles of Flaming Gauntlets which she made previously. The result is horrific. She uses the remainder of her metal to construct a giant Hawk made of steel, it is posed as though in a dive, and a metal chain is connected in such a way as to open it's mouth when pulled. She shoves the Halberds in it, before attaching the Gauntlets to one another. They chase after the light their own flames make, causing them to spin rapidly like a saw. She shoves that in there too. Hefting the Giant Clanking Monster over her shoulder, she aims it as though prepared to unleash it, before letting out a large and loud silent Grin. "This should kill something." she whispers, a small tear of awe escaping her eye. Unbeknownst to her, one of the halberds had actually escaped, clonking a soldier in the head nearby. He's on the ground unconscious now. "What do you guys think?"
  10. Tomorrow- Early Morning (Random Event Roll) (16, 14) The Merchants apparently firebombed the building last night. A Metal Building. Fucking morons. Nobody even noticed, those who sleep having slept soundly. Those who plan on clearing the Boat Graveyard begin to do so. All of them stand before the docks, the morning waves crashing up and spraying mist into the air, which glitters in the early light. It's time to go to work. (Characters can opt in or opt out of this Combat At Will, there is No Initiative, though Move Count is respected. Theme Status -- Phone in hand, Tattletale texts someone, then waits, then texts again. "Ok, I've got a meeting set up with Uber and L33t early tommorow. Apparently we'll get to look in on one of their shows." "I guess this is goodbye. It's been fun." She says to her former companions with something anxious in her tone. "I suppose this is the part where you show me where you guys are squatting?" Harry Eventually purchases a ton of junk food from there, bringing the gang a feast of epic proportions, and tomorrow, Tattletale joins a few people to meet with the infamous Uber and L33t near the Boat Graveyard. It seems they are preparing for a show. A flying camera shaped like the Snitch from Harry Potter buzzes around, while L33t is trying to get on what a savvy individual would recognize as Storm-trooper commander armor. Uber, Meanwhile, is fiddling with a Lightsaber and robe. They haven't yet noticed those approaching.
  11. The Barrage of attacks fly towards blue, who simply stands there. Then, as the Golem strikes, Blue's body vibrates rapidly, until it looks like there are two of him. The attacks pass through, until he eventually re-converges. "Even a single Silver Wire, and I am already capable of Doubleteer's Wrath. Incredible." he says, unsure of himself. Blue then lifts the frost, crushing it into water, which he sends at the golem at high speed, backing up himself.
  12. Shrugging the foam off, Blue takes a stance again. "I'm sticky." "Try again."
  13. As the golem rushes him, several times larger than himself, Blue attempts to throw out a fist of psionic energy. Instead, he pulls on the fridge's handle. A can of whipped topping flies out, lands perfectly, and submerges him in whipped cream. The Golem might slip, but that will not wash away the embarassment
  14. "It's a Greasetrap, but the food is pretty good. There's also a deal going on where anyone who can eat The Challenger gets it free. It's a pile of meat, grease, and bread unlike any other." "But yeah. I can call them whenever you're ready. Those nerds aren't exactly the busiest of people, and I get the sense that your group can impress them." Tattletale responds. -- "Well, they are much cheaper used, yes. thankfully, there are cheap books available that teach some of the more basic principles." "It isn't like you are going to collage, after all." Dragon jokes.
  15. "No, you do so." Blue drops his items and gear to one side, posing himself diagonal to the enemy before him.
  16. "If you feel it is necessary. I'll need to hold back." Blue responds, a hint of excitement in their tone.
  17. Blue sees the wire, shiny and delicate in Leo's hand. Surely Blue isn't that lucky, to ramble on about the rarest and most incredible thing of his world, only for someone to find one wrapped around some old-age garbage. Snatching the wire, it lights up in his grip like a star. "..." He's speechless as he begins bending it, unfolding it, and uncrinkling it until it's perfectly straight, before wrapping it around himself. His chest, legs, and arms are all coated with a twist of the silvery substance, leaving him in a Gi-looking attire, which shines like a mirror. "More than I imagined." His aura grows in size, and he stands taller than he once did, due to the physical mass added by the wire, yes, but more so the stature granted by immense strength.
  18. "I can assure you, none of it is Tinkertech, Merely technology which I derived by studying it. It's still years past anything most people can understand. I could recommend some courses or books, if you are really interested in my work." Dragon says with a curious lilt.
  19. "I've never seen one in person, they are twist ties with powers beyond reckoning, even taking a single one and integrating it into your body can increase your power severalfold." "There are three types, four if you ascribe to a certain religion of my world, related to the Brick Dragon, a supposed Deity." "Corrupt Crimson, a twist tie with a shine like blood, it is the most common God Wire, and any who take one into their body would find their strength multiplied by about ten or so. in return for an equally feral increase in cutthroat callousness. Though this may be a rumor, as even Legendary Knight has several." "Shining Silver, rare, but weaker than it's companions, it offers a mere multiplication of five, but, it comes with the potential to grant one skills unlike any other, surpassing even pureblooded white wires in sheer ability." "Lastly, the twist tie which is the rarest, the most sought after. Godly Gold, it has one simple effect. When you include one in your form, every aspect of yourself is enhanced, multiplied by about ten or so." "They are called God Wires because even one can elevate a mere mortal to the position of champion. Their ability can even exceed that of a Pureblood's multiplied strength, without sacrificing the ability to take other colors of wire into yourself." "Several clans of Pureblood disparage their use, however, as they are jealous of the power such a wire can offer to anyone who is not themselves. Naturally, having given up the ability to take other colors into themselves has resulted in them not being able to partake of the divine shades as well." He sounds desirous of that kind of power. It makes sense, power like that, just sitting there for the taking. Who WOULDN'T have some small hope of being lucky enough to achieve it.
  20. "I suppose so. In my home world, even a toothpick plucked fresh from the ground is a suitable weapon, if a bit pedestrian." "My name is Blue Occultist, as I am Blue, and am also devoted to the occult nature of True Water. The Legendary Knight is a figure known in my world for being the single strongest Wire Warrior. He wields countless weapons, has many God Wires in his body, and even aside from that, supposedly has a twist tie of every type integrated into his body, to the point where you can no longer tell what his first wire ever was." "There were rumors of him passing his name down to a successor, but it would not do to disrespect that person based on rumor by demoting him to Knight." Freja would note the reverence in his tone when he spoke of God Wires, nearly as much as the reverence he uses to refer to this "True Water"
  21. "Wooden swords are the standard I've always thought, I've seen many a stout red military band rout a castle, slashing through stone with their well honed spears and swords." "I have it." Rapidly, blue's body is flung into the air, and back down onto the pin, fist first. A loud thwak, like that of a fist striking a board is the noise made by this. It pops open after that. "Even Legendary Knight uses a wide range of wooden weapons, though their size and strength make them more than simple toothpicks and pop-sickle sticks." Freja would note that Blue said Legendary Knight, singular, as though it were a name.
  22. "I stole a button from the Pig-beast. It will make for a fantastic shield, once I attach this bead to it. I can psychically control anything blue with my psychic aura, so attaching the bead allows me to contrl this shield without wasting one of my hands." He responds. The rubber band bracelet which he attached to his shoulder previously wriggles angrily, before he pulls it off, and phases it away somewhere unknown. "A parasite. They can control Neurotypical wire warriors whose willpower fails them, but I have been blessed by the effects of True Water." He explains. "I do not know how it is in this world, but where I come from, all objects have some sort of use in magic. I must assume this is only typical of my home land, as I have seen nothing like tinfoil armor, or Bead constructs." "Nobody has wooden swords, either." Blue ponders, pressing into the pin on the back of the button, putting his full force into it, trying to pop it open.
  23. "That besides, it's a rather large beast. It could do some damage even before a superior force." Blue says sagely.
  24. "Well, I could probably try another larger bribe, but it sounds like that isn't the problem." By now she's grinning, an expression better fitting on a Cheshire cat from a well known story of some kind. "Anyway, I've got two options for you, you can contact the local tinker, a guy called L33t, or you can buy something from toybox, a group of tinkers that sell their services and goods to the highest bidder." "L33t would almost certainly be cheaper, but he can only make an invention once, before any duplicates of it fail horribly." -- "This is one of my suits, but not the only one, no. My specialty is Reverse Engineering, which allows me to make suits like this one en-mass." Dragon Responds to Satomi's questioning. She sees the new arrivals as well.
  25. "I will carry him. His attire is attuned to water." Blue says, trying to levitate Leo, using his clothing as a vector for Aura Hydrokinesis.
