  1. "I am certainly ready to be peddled at." Blue says with no shortage of humor and interest.
  2. Blue promptly pops out of a maintenance hatch, toodling over to where Marisa and Lucine are both staring at the core. The glittering shard in his hand glows, and also glitters. "There seem to be various loose things scattered about this place. It really is a marvel, isn't it."
  3. You decide to name this new identity "King", a worthy title. Resting until night, you use File to twist your resting rock into a Shelter, and toy with the idea of turning sand into glass. This substance isn't sand, but you are able to fuse the scale-like rocks together regardless, forming a glassy obsidian-like substance. You have gained Glassy Obsidian. Your Heart feels like it's stopped in your chest. It hasn't, but that's what it feels like. Something is right outside of your shelter, two... three... Three... and a half(?) sets of footsteps. You hear some sort of snuffling taking place, like something snorting at the ground, and then a few more hesitant steps closer. Maybe not even hesitant. Maybe meticulous. You don't have quite the skills needed to pick out intent from mere footsteps. It is a good thing you are rested. 4. Blue wanders around the endless plains of the first couple of rooms, taking in the impossible expanse, the works that must have went into producing this ship, it's simply too much for him to even conceive of. A billion yellow wire warriors could work for a million years and achieve maybe a third of what he's seen thus far. Each Rivet in these strange tiny rooms shines with otherworldly power, each bolt seemingly made from whole stock, instead of merely found in various states of disrepair. He comes across a sliver of crystal, lying on the ground in one of these rooms, glowing brightly. "How odd."
  5. "My powers don't work on living things..." ...She can't say no to that face. "Something seems off about using two broken halves to make just one creature. I'd guess you have a way around that though?"
  6. "I used that back in Brockton extensively, but it just shattered against one of those monsters' hides. It's not going to be much use going forward, considering it's just an ordinary sword with a stock welded to it." Soma sounds almost petulant.
  7. Somatotrope meanwhile, is just standing and staring at her broken sword, obviously she should have known that mild steel and some welds wouldn't make a weapon good for much outside of her own world, where most of what she fought were Gangsters and punks. But looking at the splintered halves in her hand, she realizes just how vulnerable she has been thus far. She's been playing with toys while the rest of the group have been battling gods. (An exaggeration, she later thinks.) She's not playing cops and robbers with superpowered children any more, and this proves it. A few pounds more force from that monster's single brutal attack, or a few more seconds of her being flat on her ass dazed, and she'd be dead right now. Her hand is shaking now, she's tempted to just throw a goddamn tantrum, dash the broken weapon to the ground and scream. She manages to restrain herself just barely, instead hucking the two halves of the weapon off to the side, casually dismissing any value it once had. It's worthless now. 'Well', she thinks, 'It was worthless before too.' The worst part in her mind is that she didn't already realize it. She should have noticed earlier just how out of her depth she was, maybe around the time she discovered that the group had taken down Lung. Yeah. That's probably when she should have realized just how she stacked up against her newfound teammates.
  8. All you did was Steal the Identity of Duke Brightain and they treat you like this. It wouldn't have been so bad, but they discovered you were a Changeling, which is more or less a death sentence. Enough Monologuing. They dumped you in Dragon's Scrap instead of killing you. They probably just wanted to make sure you couldn't just come back to haunt them. Cowards. You collapse against the nearby rock, tired. Only one identity to your name right now, as the rest of them were discovered. If one of your identities is discovered as false, it will lose much, if not all of it's power. This one is some no-name wastelander with a big gun and bigger ego, from some older times. You'll need a name. From now on, this identity will be called [...] There's a City off in the distance. The Twelfth City, looks like. You were thrown out of the Thirteenth City, Waygept. Rumor says that The Twelfth City is ruled by a vicious Dragon, but you've heard little else about it. The Thirty-Two Cities rarely get reliable word to one another, the challenges of surviving in the wastelands between them are to thank for that. You suppose you'll find out what those challenges are, being stranded out here and all. [Rest Until Night] [Go to The Twelfth City] [Something Else] -- Stats Inventory Abilities
  9. (Crucial Info) This is the Darkness Redeemed Discord. Enter at your leisure. -- This is horseshit. You think to yourself as you stumble over to the nearest rock. All you did was [Kill one little person]/[Cause massive chaos over several city blocks]/[Attempt to steal the Crown Jewels]/[Something Else] and they treat you like this. It wouldn't have been so bad, but they discovered you were a [Fey]/[Synthetic Human]/[Demon]/[Something Else], which is more or less a death sentence. Enough Monologuing. 10. "Incredible. To expose others to True Water, I normally had to fight viciously and with great passion, and yet you and your kind simply consume it, daily even, if I am hearing you correctly." Blue seems to shake their head without moving, astonished. "A remarkable race of beings, yours."
  11. As the strike sent Somatotrope flying, like a can of spam flung at a wall in a fit of hunger induced rage at the frustration of opening it, she crashes into the ground, in incredible pain, and then, a lot of emotions all at once, Impotent Rage, Frustration, Annoyance, but under it all, an ice cold tone of Helplessness cuts it's way through her, like a fault line in a tectonic plate suddenly cutting open a chasm between tons of stone and magma as it grits together. She lands, much like the aforementioned spam, with a sort of splat. As she lays on the ground, she can't help but think in a fit of frustration how easy it might be, she can practically feel strange powers buried under her own power, like a needle stuck under the skin. She's been extrapolating a lot of things lately that seem to be changing the very nature of it. With a shake of her head, she crawls to her feet, and stumbles into the Sanctuary, Preparing to begin using her power on the wall again as she forces away thoughts of temptation. Somatotrope moves into the Sanctuary!
  12. Blue, having witnessed all of this happening to Leo, feels something akin to anger. Actually, it is closer to being actual anger, instead of merely something like it. Scanning his surroundings, he finds a scrap of an MRE Wrapper, and tears into it, creating a cloak with which he can sneak into the city. A white twist tie within bolsters his resolve, luck like that can only mean his path is karmically backed. Hopping from wall to wall like a bug, he eventually finds a rubbery ring attached to something. Removing it, he is shocked to find water pouring from it's middle as a result of him unleashing it. "Heathens, all of them. To be so ignorant as to miss such a treasure as this, an artifact of the ancient world from which pours true water." "Maybe this will make Leo feel better." Blue Occultist muses to themselves, hopping out of the city limits with ease. Landing at the rear end of Leo's conversation with Marisa, he waits until a lull, and then tries to get Leo's attention. "I stole a treasure from the city, as payment for your damaged golem. They had no clue what a find they were holding onto unwittingly." he says with reverence, showing off the rubber ring, from which water is magically created.
  13. "I'm sure we will be able to acquire housing for this core. The skills of this group are varied."
  14. "I can unlock the hidden magical potential of any otherwise unmagical objects you desire. In return for that crystal core." Blue holds up what is clearly a sewing needle, not as a threat, clearly, but as a demonstration. It crackles with electricity, a sort of energy that seems more than capable of ruining any unlucky technology.
  15. Somatotrope uses Extrapolate for her turn, making the wall even larger and more complex! Her face sweats with exertion as she glares at the growing structure, willing it to trap and hinder the Aragami.
  16. "It is fine. I believe we are in a place called Australia, Ma'm." Blue says, a full voice coming out of a pip on the ground.
  17. "Satomi, These things are too tough for me to damage, I just busted my damn sword on one, I'm going to try to build a wall by growing something, I need you to guide me here, you know walls better than I do!" Soma shouts, using Extrapolate on whatever Satomi wants her to.
  18. "Gearshift Dragon is dead. Though he's tried to come back in the past. There are no ways to other worlds from my own, as far as I am aware." "His largest form, spoken of in legend as his original true form, stood up to your hip. Don't let that size fool you, if you haven't guessed by now, at that size, he was able to scour continents of life, move faster than any other, and had the one singular goal of bringing all life in my world to heel, or to the grave." "His latest form, however, was a twisted amalgam of wire and components that perhaps stood to your knee at it's highest. I was not there to witness the battle, but it was a brutal one, requiring the strongest warriors to ever live."
  19. "This Dysto creature reminds me of Gearshift Dragon. He would often operate through proxy, picking a corrupt aspect of Wire Warriors and latching onto it to form his twisted avatars from the corpses of my brethren and our tools. His latest attempt to return to life was through the latest Artificial Wire Technology. A synthetic type made in Yellow Labs for the purpose of creating effective machinery and robotics." "Let's be thankful it is only Leo, and be hopeful that it does not become a trend, our old foes coming to haunt us, or we may all have to face our demons." Blue says.
  20. With ease, Blue maneuvers themselves free, leaping into the air and atop the icy sphere.
  21. "I can't do that." as if to demonstrate, the suspended Wire Warrior wiggles in place, rotating around in the center of the sphere.
  22. "I am affected no more by Ice than I am by the Sacred Water." Blue says, their voice reverberating through the ball.
  23. After a pause, Blue begins. "I need help. This sphere is not bending to my will." He sits firmly in the middle of the orb.
