Visrii retrieved his weapon out of the remains of the guard. There was no blood as his seething blade had cauterised every cut as soon as he opened them. With a swift gesture, all the fire in the room abruptly went out, leaving only soot behind. He hid his arm, crackling with lightning from the last overcharge he made. The Fading's becoming worse. "'Angel', Halley, Izumi. Any of you injured?" Then again, this 'angel' looked anything other than injured, seeing as she is ready to kill more civilian bystanders. Ironic. We're here to stop a war and this angel of justice is more than eager to do more damage to this city.

Let's end this. Visrii kicked away the guard's body and pulled the bloodied halberd out. Visrii exhaled deeply, his halberd now burning with intense chaos. With a burst of power he swept in and executed 5 powerful slashes of fire against the nearest Guard. [Wrath of the Profaned on Guard B, dealing 2.5(DEX+SYN)] + [Last Round Damage / 2 on Guard E]

Pokemon in Space [IC Chapter #03]

Kalva, a little weirded by Radovan's peculiar greeting, produces a notebook and writes, "hello, my name is kalva. nice to meet you fredrick" -
"Ah, we mustn't be so suspecting of each other. I am sure Miss Sombra will do the right thing and aid us in our quest to break down this corporation. And if in the event she does make a mistake, I am sure we will be able to right her wrongs." Wyvis gives Sombra a reassuring pat on the back. I admit, this character looks rather sketchy. I must practice constant vigilance if I am to not be caught off guard. However, I must give her some trust, for that is only where teamwork may happen.

Kalva smiles and nibbles the cookies as they walk towards the drill. Though her words were a little overwhelming, all were in good intention and Kalva didn't want to make Gina upset. She reminded him a lot of his overprotective mother back in 02. I wonder what she's doing right now? Well...I made my friends promise that they would all protect Mum when Dad comes back. I trust them to keep her safe. His eyes light up at the sign of the cadet that just arrived. Though he would be normally shy around foreign humans, the presence of Gina made him feel much safer. He waves at the new recruit. F...fr...hmm, I can't remember his name. I wonder if he can use sign language? -
Visrii, not waiting for another second after getting out of the grapple, quickly lunged forward at another guard with his halberd aiming at his torso. [Pin Strike on Guard A: Basic 2d4+DEX damage with (5*INIT/6)% chance to critically strike.] + [Last Round Damage / 2 on Guard A. If Guard A is downed, Guard B]

It was at this point Visrii wondered if something had gone off in the Ios and now the chances were always stacked up against his favor. In the past 2 days, he had failed to do so many of the things he should have been able to accomplish easily. Then again. Doing favors for that prick Solomon was probably where it all started. ... Damn it. If I start missing people like Lukas and Melina that's where I know I'll die. Visrii tried again to turn the tables by using his halberd to twist out of the man's grip and strike him down. [Use DEX to escape suplex. If successful, use Thunder Strike, dealing 2d4+DEX+SYN damage]

Fuck you too. Visrii, caught off guard in the middle of a spell, found himself on the floor. He quickly twisted and tried to catch the guard's elbow, pushing him out of the man's grip. If successful, he'll have to just strike the guy down. [DEX roll to escape suplex. If successful, use Thunder Strike, dealing 2d4+(DEX+SYN)]

And this couldn't get any worse. Visrii grips his halberd and channels power of fire, but makes sure to conceal embers that fly off from his armor. He was caught flat footed and it would be risky to draw attention to himself just yet. [Power Surge: Grant +3 to DEX, RES for 2 turns. Permanent +3 INIT]

"Okay, let us make haste, everyone! It is no secret that we are dealing with very dangerous people, and power that can fall into wrong hands! No time to lose!" Wyvis looks at Isobel. "Isobel, do you have miss Sombra's equipment? It would be unwise to send her into battle without any way to defend herself."

Kalva's head perks up immediately when he hears Gina's voice. He exits the house before anyone can react, and jumps for joy when he sees Gina. If he could speak, he would have shouted as well. He runs towards her and embraces her warmly, nearly tackling both of the ground. After a long while, he stops and remembers that she had come to rescue them. "I missed you. My friends are still up on the house, along with the resident here. Her name is Zeta and she seems nice." He signs to Gina. -
Visrii got up from the blast and spat out a piece of a tooth that he just broke. He saw Lexiel's healing summon, and opened his mouth to say something to Lexiel, but closed it again. He instead silently channeled fire and carefully guided the lava into the center, so as to not spill against her. They went through a fuck ton of craziness. He cannot let her or anyone else get injured this far in. He thought back to Stravaga. He'll have to go back, for the Masquerade, eventually. That was inevitable. But somehow, he felt a strange tug, as if he had a faint shadow of reluctance to go back. ...no. He must focus on his work. His duty was too high, and no-one would be able to fulfill it. No-one else deserved his burden.

Pokemon in Space [IC Chapter #03]

Kalva enters the room after Meggie, and brightly waves at Zeta. "it is fine. we did make her angry after all. i hope we dont bother you too much with our visit. :)" He writes and puts it up for Zeta to read. Hmm...why would an Exeggutor be here? As long as Zeta keeps them safe, then I guess it's alright. -
Visrii grit his teeth, got out his remaining bandage and patched himself up. He wasn't going to bleed out, but it was going to affect him in combat. Fuck. Something's off recently. Some bloody god's losing his dice. Visrii held tightly unto the dragon scales, resisting the urge to instantly stab the beast to death. He had one encounter with real, life-sized dragons. He had to spend 12 hours fighting one with a fucking wooden sword before he could finally bring it down. Though he never showed it on the outside, he would not want to do that again.

Pathetic. I couldn't even approach its defenses. Visrii looked back, and hearing the distant sound of a summoning and a dragon, finally realised what was happening. "This is what happens if you try and figure things out yourself, Visrii!" He heard a small Wyvis' voice jutting him from the corner of his mind. "Yes." Visrii's mouth stretched into a crooked line. "But it seems that my team have other ideas." Visrii ducked east into the alleyways, discarding his mask and turning his armor back into the Watcher armor. He took out his knives, floats strings and rope, and started to swiftly climb the buildings to the rooftop. using the fire escapes to his advantage. Once he is on top of the rooftop, he looks to the origin of the dragon sounds, waiting for the time to clear the building and join the team as soon as possible. His cloth seethed with lightning as he charged a teleport spell to teleport on top of a coming dragon.

Pokemon in Space [IC Chapter #03]

Kalva smiles broadly at Desmond, but doesn't enter, instead making space for Meggie to enter first. She probably should get priority in meeting with the Nexus Girl. He also glimpses into the house. It looked like a real goodly home, not a house he expected the Nexus Girl to have been able to set up. Nexus Girl must be really strong and smart, to have been able to make this all herself. I wonder if she has anyone else living with her? -
"I'll be damned if he didn't." Visrii growled under his mask. "Walking in directly seems to be suicidal - but the SIN could still be useful. Stealth's still on the line." Considering how poorly performed in the last fight with the minor assassin character, he was still pissed about his lack of discipline. But this was no time to be worried, as there was a mission to do. I will not fail again. "Let's move. The book's not gonna burn itself." With that, Visrii moved out through the darkened streets, the white porcelain mask making a ghost of his visage.

Wyvis tries to catch the bracelet, only to drop it, have it bounce back up, hit his forehead again as he leant down to grab it and roll away. Wyvis awkwardly chases it across the room and is finally able to retrieve a completely harmless bracelet, before returning in front of the group. He bows courteously in front of Mr Doom. "Of course, Mr Doom. We shall all meet in due time. May you fare well in your endeavours." Though Mr Doom didn't seem like a very modest man, he didn't look like an evil person either. He'd have to trust this man in keeping the chronal accelerator safe and out of harm's way. Wyvis looks down at the bracelet. I can sense some kind of latent arcane force here. Perhaps it must be of use to spell casters. Visrii could use this.
-
Wyvis followed Friedhold inside, to be greeted by this Doom fellow. He seemed to be rather aggressive, that was for sure. But Wyvis still hoped that he could reason with him, so there was to be no more bloodshed. If they were lucky, then maybe the basement team could get out of this building without a fight at all...and they'll still have to protect the prisoners from harm, that was a priority as well. "Hello, Mr Doom, my name is Wyvis of Nivinuxis, and I am here to retrieve the chronal machine from this organisation's possession, so that we all may be safe from harm. The chronal machine, as you no doubt know, is highly unstable. The machine if damaged could cause horrific destruction on all scales, for all sides. Please, allow us to take this machine, and let us both depart without harm."
-
Visrii looked sideways towards the man disapprovingly, as if to say, "'Right, then give me a weapon I can fucking scale with, not just giving a bunch shit that either offends their religion or people are weirded out by." But he said nothing in return, for the absurdity of the conversation would really transverse realms if it was to continue. "Angel, Bullet. Get off your feet. Time to proceed with the mission." Visrii said to the two team members who were pandering on their feet, and then got in the van.

Visrii looked slightly back and addressed the laughing man. Though he did his best not to admit it to himself, the man's constant unhelpful remarks ticked him off. Hell, he was just like Solomon in that way. His voice was audibly deeper, perhaps part of his new facade. "As far as the enemy's concerned, I suspect that they've already targeted me, you and everyone else here, and if they've got half a brain, they've most likely got images of us from the Eyes they have all over the city. If you want to risk dying in a mission to stop a war because the enemy can see you coming 3 ticks away, go right on ahead. I'll take every advantage I get, no matter how small."

Visrii gave Lexiel the look of, "you done?". "If I had to rely on other realms' weapons to survive, I'd be dead by now." He said to the driver and walked off. On his way to the van, his armor smoldered and reshaped into the dark leather infiltration clothes, dimming all light sources around him. It wasn't exactly a part of a Watcher's repertoire, the whole light dimming enchantment. In fact, it was frowned upon, for darkness was what followed the light, not the other way around. Disturbing the order, as they repeated over the course of training, was antithesis to their oaths. But sooner or later, Visrii found out that not having a way to conceal movements was epitome to death, especially if he was to master over the Crownbreakers. He was once found with the armor set, and for 5 months he was thrown into a den of dragonlings. Of course, they intended to find him dead, but instead they found he escaped with using the exact armor set they set out to punish. Eventually, they gave up and let him keep the armor set, for they respected Visrii's pure survivalist ability. That, perhaps, was the one time he was allowed to bend the rules. The other, well... that was a story for another time. Visrii took out his porcelain mask and fitted it on his face. After a few steps, his gait started to change from a brisk steady stride to a slow calculated walk. His shoulders dropped down from its confident stand to a careful hang, slightly unbalanced to one side, like a man with a shoulder injury. Within a few moments, the astute posture of a warrior turned into a silent form of a precarious assassin. Visrii figured, if the Eyes wanted to catch him based on his appearance, they'll have to work for it. He sat on the van opposite to Halley, looking down and already calculating tactics. These people were tough, to say the least. He'll have to pin down weaknesses and exploit it, like he had always done.
