  1. It's time, guys and girls, for the next part of this challenge. To Shade, this time. Btw, maybe I'm exploiting this game too much... Have a nice watching! (really need to change this catchphrase, it sound silly).
  2. I don't see about what is the other legal Pokemon with Magic Bounce is legal (Cuz I don't see where could be Natu/Xatu). Unless you're talking about Grumping and Magic Coat, which is not permanent . And I know about the Level Limiter. I just decided to not use it at all, to feel the full difficulty of Reborn Harcore. Well, that's what I thought at the beginning, and I understand why it's present now. And I agree that this version of Shelly is the real Wake-Up Call Battle in Hardcore. Even if I was only using 3 Pokemon. Well, I made a point (on myself) to only use final forms . But now I will be able to dig for Evolutionary stones, which means Shade will be the first Leader to be fought with a full Team of Eevees. I know I would be able to do far better with 6 Members (with the other 3 being Support Eevees with Helping Hand) but I chose not to. And you know, it took me many tries, and I forgot I had this item for this battle. Said item was finally useless because she wasn't able to inflict Stat-reducing moves thourough the duration, due to MASSIVE amount of luck. Even the Moonblast against Vespiqueen was kind of lucky. That being said I usually don't like using items in battles, and I'm using them only if I can't do otherwise. Faith in my Pokemon before anything else, I guess. Still, Hardcore Reborn is... well... Hardcore. But hone(y)stly, the only thing I can think about the Perma-Rain version is Armaldo and his doubled speed (plus some water moves). But I haven't tried it, and I won't yet. I'll put this on hiatus until the end of the playthrough.
  3. Yosh everyone. Having finally beaten Shelly, I'm glad to show how I dealt with every Boss between Corey and her. Yeah, you can say Shelly used more than 6 bugs against me (Okay, i'm out). Have a nice watching!
  4. Yeah, this bug was quite disturbing... And yeah, Sylveon is quite OP, but it also depends how you use such power. I wouldn't have beaten the first PULSE Tangrowth by brute strength, for exemple. Anyways, it's time for more videos, guys and girls! Here they are, have a nice viewing.
  5. It's time, boys and girls! I made a few boss battles I want to share with you with my videos! Well, I'm really playing with these annotations, for sure, but I want to develop more ways to communicate my thoughts with you. Have a good watching!
  6. Hardcore Florinia : defeated! I think I will keep on making videos, it's more fun than plain text.
  7. There is another solution, the one I think is the easiest. You can use Soundproof Abomasnow! Why? M-Altaria's moveset is basically, iirc, Hyper Voice, Earthquake, Roost and Sing, so Soundproof Abomasnow is immune to HV and Sing, while resisting EQ, which should allow you to sweep through easily, with whatever set you want. And as other replies said, Sylveon is a great choice too in this gym in general.
  8. Well, courtesy of my donator. But somehow, I really think I will need this, due to this version being Hardcore. It's time for 3 more videos, guys. I'm still practicing but I think the quality is a bit better. Enjoy these.
  9. But, Shiny... Whaddya want, voice in my head? You didn't even finished your Ice Monotype... Is it abandoned? Sure not, but I'll put this in hiatus. This challenge sounds more interesting, and I want to experiment another format. Come on, since you've seen this video, you only focusing about using Eevees. Aren't you ashamed to be manipulated so easily? ... No. Should I? Eevees are strong, good-looking and highly adaptational. But your favorite Pokemon is Luca.. I know! But what could I do with only one Lucario? Even more, in Hardcore Reborn? At least, I have 9 family members to use with Eeveelutions. Fair enough. Now let me be, I have videos to make. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Welcome into this new adventure... Well I haven't thought of a proper name, so it will simply be : The Full Eeveelution Adventures in Pokemon Reborn Hardcore (Yes, I managed to put all the colors in this title) This time, I will do this more simply : instead of putting tons of text and images (which took some time) , I will record all the important battles against every boss of the game and post them on Youtube. I want to thank Despair Syndrome , for providing me the Original Eevee. Without this one, the adventure wouldn't have even started. This Post will show you the list of the main bosses in this game, even though I might add some in my videos. And of course, everything wouldn't start without the first video. Here it is. If you have some advices about video making (since I'm such a noob about this), don"t hesitate to share these with me. Thanks for watching.
  10. I'm starting a video serie about my Eeveelution Adventures in Pokemon Reborn Hardcore. If you have advices about making better videos, you can telle me. Thanks for watching.
    1. Commander

      Commander

I recommend OBS just in case fights get longer as shown in my one Luna fight I had to merge two videos due to length

In fact, that was the first thing I tried, but I couldn't have a proper result while testing. Plus, it was laggy as hell.

  11. Hello Everyone, Seeking to do a full Eeveelution Challenge on Pokemon Hardcore, I would like to request a Female Eevee. Yes, only one, don't worry I know what I am doing. If you feel like puting the ideal Iv's and a Modest/quiet Nature, it would also be nice. I put the file down. Thanks in advance for helping me.
  12. Recently, with my original Reborn game, I also thought about beating Amaria, while assuming the field will be indeed The Water Surface (and, by extension, the Underwater Field), and I came up with a few ideas concerning Electric Pokemons. One of my choices, as a team Reserve, is Heliolisk. More precisely, Heliolisk with Parabolic Charge and Dry Skin as his Ability. Why? With Water Immunity, on top of the passive heal with the Field + Ability (on top of Leftovers, if you have), plus heal with Parabolic Charge, with a nice boost due to the Field (Plus your other Electric attack), he could last very long in this battle, while taking out every non-Ground Pokemon (if your Heliolisk has HP Grass, well, it could help). I also came up with Eelektross. Thanks to his ability, is speed isn't halved, plus his nice coverage (and eventually Giga Drain if the Tutor is here, if not, Grass Knot) could allow him to perform well. Edit : And while writing, I thought about Lanturn with Water Absorb, who could be a nice idea. But expect Amaria to have it too. Edit2 : Well, I just realized while checking my Mons, and Heliolisk actually learns Grass Knot. No worries about getting the Grass HP.
  13. Few, finally finished that "Speedy Mono-Dragon" on Pokemon Rejuvenation... Now, what should I do ...

  14. Thanks, that's working perfectly. Plus, don't wanna suffer to Angie anymore, what a relief.
  15. Well, time for me to explain my situation for this one. After beating Angie (after at least one million tries, these are the joys of doing a speedy-Mono dragon run), I went to the TM shop in the same town. But now, I'm stuck here! How? Well, they didn't notice my presence at first, and when I went on a certain tile, they finally told me "Welcome". And, of course being on the wrong tile, my protag can't do what he is programmed to do. Since I have no other files Post-Angie (NO! Defeating her again is NOT an option, I'm fed up), I quick save, and now I'm posting it here, hoping to be unstuck. Thanks for helping.
  16. Watching the film 2012, almost 4 years after date... Somehow makes me think of what I would miss if it had really happened... Strange, no?

  17. Damned, trying a Mono-Dragon on Rejuvenation is indeed hard-mode.

  18. I got this one last night while thinking about bringing my Pokemon's potential to the max. Power Awakening - A Pokemon with this Ability gains an additionnal STAB on all moves of a predetermined Type. This type is determined by the same method which determines the type of the move Hidden Power. If the Pokemon already has a STAB on this type, the Pokemon is treated has having Adaptibility for this type. The question is : how could I make this Ability works for Fairy and Normal types...
  19. Part 2 Few, that's done. That's all for the image Material I had initially. So There won't be any episode for a while, guys. I need to fill my reserves again. For a total worth of 5 episodes, of course. Well, see you later. Maybe in one week.
  20. Woops, forgot to update yesterday. Don't worry guys, I got this. Fimbulvetr, the Ice type Monorun Yeah, that's better. So... Where was I already? ... Oh yeah, I just defeated the Ice leader! One of the most symbolic. And where am I going now? This one, I know! And you will too. Enjoy this bunch of pictures! Have a good reading.
  21. I could play Starly... But it's a bit too classic for me. Plus it's the right opportunity to finally play this flippin' goliath. Let's take this Rhyhorn.
  22. Well, could be cool the day I will finally start a game on Hardcore Reborn. Reveal these little souls to me, please.
  23. Sometimes, I wonder... Does the BBcode in this forum acts like crazy, or is it just me?

  24. Each time I have to deal with the Elite 4 in each game, whatever the team I'm building, there is always a member who frightened me a lot, or at least one of his or her Pokemon. For me, it qualifies as being the "hardest", or at least the most annoying, Elite 4 that I absolutely want to crush. First Generation : Lorelei. Although she is supposed to be the weakest, her Jynx can give me trouble with the sleep and double stab combo. And I'm not talking about the Lapras, which can be a big problem with his bulk and attacks. But nonetheless, sometimes, it's like taking a candy from a baby. Second Generation : I could say Koga, who frightened me as a kid with his Crobat, but it's nothing compared to Karen and the mighty Houndoom! Especially in 4th gen. Bonus points for the Gengar : besides the terrible movepool, Destiny Bond is something worth to pay attention, especially in Nuzlockes. Third Generation : Surprisingly, I would say Phoebe. Despite lacking offense Power, since i'm only relying on brute force, her ghosts' good defense and status moves are always annoying. But only annoying. Nothing special about this Elite 4 as a whole. But it's still worth noting. Fourth Gen : I hate Lucian! And his flipping Alakazam! One of the most powerful Psychic Pokemon, all generations taken in account. Plus a good coverage. That's always something I have to eliminate quickly. Fifth Gen : As the first Generation where all Elites have Pokemon equally leveled (and also with good quality Pokemon), my choice is basically hard to make. I will give bonus to Marshall, for his annoying Sawk, not only a good sweeper, but also able to survive a hit. Fortunately, he will spam Full restore, leaving none for at least conkeldurr. Sixth Gen : This one might be easy, due to the power of grinding in these games. But I think Siebold is not to be underestimated. He has better quality mons compared to the rest of the Elite 4, with good movepools and coverage. As a subsequent note, I think most of the Elite pre 5th Gen would be more dangerous if the actual system (AKA Elite 4 on an equal standing of levels) was applied. What do you think?
