Potentially in v6, for v5 I plan on making a small field effect guide which will be located in the Desolation Folder, since we adjusted a few fields from Reborn as well as created our own.

Hey welcome! So we had this feature previously (and it still is a feature) however, as of v5 there will now be a hard cap! basically your Pokemon will no longer gain experience past a certain cap (which you can see what it is while viewing your Trainer Card) til you receive the next badge. It's essentially Rejuvenation's hard cap which we implemented into the game. You can still go over the hard cap using a Rare Candy and then a Reserve Candy to get your Pokemon under again, if you need a specific move or evolution before a battle :]

Development is going well! In the midst of Beta Testing, ironing out any small errors and bugs, adjusting teams if need be and overall polishing up the game as a whole. We are still aiming End of June (in a week or two) and we have a unexpected surprise which we are happy we were able to get sorted during this period of testing, but more of that will come closer to the release date :] idk if we will be giving you guys a set date but just expect it looming around the corner when you least expect it!

Hey we appreciate it my guy! we are excited to be bringing you the game soon! In regard to your question, yes and no? Lemme explain. So Caz has edited a few of the older maps slightly and I have personally gone back to adjust and fix anything that looked out of place, few errors etc, for example.. trees.. I now despise trees.. You may notice a few maps having a slight revamp, not major! just a little polish up for details. However with myself only starting mapping recently (as in the past 6 months?) the maps will mainly get a major rework when we start development on v6!

I have actually (main reason why I started working on Deso was because I had knowledge on Team Building and wanted to help implement some balance) I started doing a lot more VGC when SwSh came out because I enjoyed the meta and wanted to do a bit more comp battling. I don't really play Smogon tiers though, if I did it would probably be OU, sometimes UU, also I am currently in a Draft League or have been for the past 3 years! So I have a good amount of knowledge on competitive battling

You know I did think about potentially livestreaming some Deso content, either being like an open AMA or just chill and discussions, or even just playing through the game with E5, if people actually want that then I may look into doing it! suppose to be streaming hollow knight but thats taken a backseat due to um.. testing.

Adding onto this I firstly should give you all an update on things we don't have a dev blog but everyone checks here anyways so yeah this is fine. Beta Testing is starting soon! within the next few days we will be getting our testers to play through the game before release, our aim is still end of this month for the release but it may change depending on the test. Also, when E5 eventually drops, There will be a E5 Discussion Thread made here to keep all spoilers in. Much appreciated my guy, all the support has been phenomenal and it motivates us to continue working on the project 1. e5 is a ride alright :'] also yes there is! in the Options settings, you can adjust the volume, alternatively you can just use the Volume Mixer on Desktop lol but yeah you can adjust ingame

:'] So the early game plays out exactly the same as it did in v4, with a few minor edits to the actual story, meaning if you played from the start of v5 you won't have missed anything important! Howdy partner We're all doing pretty good right now! morale and spirits are high as we crack on with the game :] even though we are dying doing edits In the midst of Dev Testing right now, which hopefully be finished up soon (by soon I mean by the end of this week? we'll see) then we shall start the Beta Test and them... release the kraken (Aiming for an end of June release).

I've already mentioned about this, we are in the midst of testing as a dev team, beta testing will begin the moment we finish off that stage of testing and then it'll be released to the public. We are aiming for Late June. This may change depending on the results of testing.

So best way to put this, since every team in the game has been revamped in some sort of way, teams that were horribly difficult were nerfed and others were buffed, take that as you will, if you remember from v4 what battles were harder and what battles were easier, hopefully now they have been balanced out. I will say that the additions to Scarlett's team has buffed her overall, Aurora's team suits her more and the fight in Cellia and has been slightly adjusted. I can't say anything about newer battles but yeah lol.

So I've said previously that we just started internal testing, which will take a week or two, then beta testing will begin, which again will take a week or two, so we don't have a set date yet, we wanna aim for a release around Late June, just keep an eye out for updates! 2.
