Whats the point of calling them EVENT legends if no events actually take place? Receiving a legendary from a random mailman in a pokecenter is incredibly boring and gives basically no lore about the pokemon like the sidequests did.
I like events distributed via Wifi, but the way the Eon Tickets worked in ORAS were cool too and ended up with some nice distribution and you will be able to get the tickets for a while because of it. I really like story or unique encounter based events, like what Reborn has, the most.
