Sandbox Mode will be updated to e17 when Amethyst finishes working on it! though given the fact that ultra sun/moon were announced today, the gen 7 progress might be incomplete and force e17 to be delayed until at least november
-
Was thinking about it recently actually, I'll probably hand out a Pokemon that has pokerus on it already (and will constantly hand them out if need be). I'll get around to it Eventually:tm: though.

Black Border Edge visible in Valor Mountain F1 Pipe missing in Valor Mountain B1

We Are The Wall Climbers. Fear Us. Also

As you can see, I don't have debug mode on at all; walking behind that statue allowed me to walk onto the walls.

Of the EV grinding rooms, the Speed one is missing the Healing and PC machines

I think this is the wrong kind of "hair clip"

Speaking of what shore that event is on

Within Terajuma Jungle, when escorting the Roggenrolla, if you talk to it on any map but the ones you're supposed to take it on, you get a game crashing bug

So, apparently, most of the bugs I had in my video were from an older build. I'm... not really sure how, since I know i patched it, but I digress. There's a few small things remaining. This log has no confirmation box This log's confirmation box pops up in the wrong corner

I'm going to try and record a comprehensive video for Kakori Gym shortly, to point out all the bugs I noticed (since it's probably better to have it all in one place), but I have no idea how to replicate this bug so it's getting an exclusive post: I don't know how exactly it happened, but pushing that log made the sprite go weird, and I was able to just walk on it from where I'm standing and hop between the cliffs. I'm pretty sure this is not the intended method, and if I knew how to recreate it I would mention it. If I figure it out for the video, it'll be there.

Recorded to show off, it's similar to my earlier reported issue except a bit more extreme

Tile Permission weirdness

Prison Riot in Blacksteeple is occurring, Saki is running rampant... and also still in her jail cell. As is everyone else.

Neved's dialogue kinda repeats itself in a reworded way when he's talking with the person who just arrived; seems kind of odd to have such similar strings of dialogue right back-to-back. Edit: I decided to try approaching from the south, and somehow managed to run right through Saki. Literally right under her. I'm assuming her move route The event itself had set Through to on, and never unset it. Edit: Discovered this when looking through rmxp for something, while the bug itself doesn't affect anything critical it is still a bug: The bookcase next to this one doesn't work because the variable it checks for is the wrong variable.

You can cross the northern edge on these tiles onto the layer below

Pressing escape on the truck transportation choice box defaults to the second option instead of No Thanks. EDIT: You can see the Map Edge in Odd Pass Edit 2: A sign in Goldenwood Forest has no text on it, this is on the second visit to it Edit again: Able to walk on this tile in Wispy Tower

Is this the thread to report map errors? I'm not sure, but if it is, it's time to enter Derxwna's Tile Nitpick Zone On the agenda today, we have... door frames! Compare the left and right doors, as you can see, the right door's frame isn't complete and it gets cut off by the window. Presumably an easy fix, since the one on the left has a frame. But that's not all! Next up we have... Overlap! As observed here in Chrisolia Hotel, the railing is going above the sprite's head, when it presumably shouldn't be. Probably just a permission fix, but if you can't fix permissions because it needs to be like this for other tiles, then an ideal solution would be to create a doppelganger tile with the same appearance, but the modified tile height permissions. And that's all for today's Nitpick Zone, where I bring you ultimately minor stuff that people don't notice and probably don't care too much about! This is Derxwna, signing out!

The second build has been uploaded and posted! It's been appended to the first post. Here are the changes it makes: I'll work on getting a mirror up shortly, it's taking a while to sync it.

Coming in Build 2

Actually, I was talking about creating an NPC that would allow the player to modify the Pokemon's IVs. We already have the Psychologist from 7th Street in one of the rooms, and it wouldn't be that hard to modify it to let you select natures naturally... Actually that... That gives me an idea for the IV event. I'll look into that later, though. I don't wanna mess with making brand new tutors and if i do i'll just take a page out of @Agastya's book and make a sketch tutor for every pokemon Mystery Egg stuff or other randomized events... maybe? I'll think about it. At the very least, it'll let people figure out what Pokemon they'd be getting from those events.

Ability Capsules are solid at the vendor who sells Vitamins, which is the left NPC behind the counter below the EV Training Area.
-
7th street, I thought I got all of the ones there... Alright, thanks for pointing it out! Edit: So, I checked, and I did have him added to the room, but I forgot to remove his checks like I did the other tutors. He will show up properly in the next build.
-
The only reason I haven't included a way to modify IVs is because... I actually don't know how. Wouldn't you believe it, Sandbox Mode actually took the bare minimum effort to make, and requires barely any heavy lifting to do stuff. Unfortunately, modifying IVs on Pokemon would require some sort of way to pull it out of Essentials's Debug Options and bind them to an NPC, but I have no idea how to do that at all. If someone proficiently skilled in RGSS would have an idea of how to do it, I'd absolutely love the assistance in implementing it! As for warps... Maybe? One thing I could do is have it bound to the start menu, and it would save the player's current position, then when they leave it would return them to that exact spot. I'll think it over and see if I can get help working out something. I copied over the tutors that was informed existed, so if Iron Head is one that exists it's possible that e16 removed it, I wasn't told its location, or you might have missed it- i'd put more stock into the first two choices though. As for Dragon Ascent, I'll look into it since you do make a valid point. I actually forgot that Mega Ray Charles Rayquaza needs Dragon Ascent to go Mega, so it'll probably be in the next version. And thanks for pointing out the XDefense bug! I'll fix that right away. I'll create a second download link when the next build comes out, thanks for reminding me! Yep! Bottom vendor on the left side, Summoning Items: As for Rejuvenation? Probably not as hard. At the very least, I should play it first and probably ask Jan for permission before I even consider it. I haven't gotten around to actually playing it yet due to other distractions, but it's on The List:tm: of games to play. I'm glad there's been such a positive reception to this, though! I was a little worried that it might not be as positively received, mostly because people tend to frown upon modes that make games 'easier' for whatever reason, so seeing people enjoy it has been a nice relief.

I would also like to say, if you guys can think of anything else that Sandbox Mode could benefit from, feel free to mention it here. I'll try and look into adding them into later builds if I'm able to!
