  1. Throwing your problems in the fire is a surprisingly effective strategy.

    1. Halloween

      Halloween

i second this statement - especially if your problems have long hair and flammable clothing.

  2. You'd assume that the Kirby games were meant to be kid friendly, but some of those final bosses are kind of terrifying...

  3. Is it just me, or is it the less people that work on a game, the quicker the updates for it come out?

    1. Raindrop Valkyrie

      Raindrop Valkyrie

It depends. Espically with how it's being put together. But with one or few people on design,... there' less time on arguing/trying to come to a comprimise so... it should work out that way.

    2. Ice Cream Sand Witch

      Ice Cream Sand Witch

OTOH, only one person means the entire workload is on that person.

  4. There's exactly 1800 topics on the Grand Hall.

  5. Dark Souls Three comes out tomorrow, which means I'll be able to change my avatar!

    1. Cepheus

but... you still praise the sun...

    2. Raindrop Valkyrie

I only like Solaire becuase he gives me a fuuuucking Lightning Bolt. ANd Lightning is my favourite elemnt in everything ever.

  6. I'm throwing my vote in for the "they do not stack" party, so you'd be better off with only one on your team.
  7. Must. Resist. Urge. To preorder Bravely Second! Must. Wait. Until. It Goes. On. Sale!

  8. I'm in college right now, so I kind of know how you feel. My freshman year was the hardest, since it was all a new experience for me, but now, I've learned to live with the hand I'm given. For now, I think you're going to have to live with your current location, since it would be unwise to move to France at your current age. The love for ones original home is surely a calling we all feel, but for now, I feel like you may need to live with going on trips to France. You could start planning for the future of course, as it will provide you with a distraction and help fuel your determination to return, but for now, you'll need to play the waiting game. It is also possible that time will heal you're wounds, and that eventually you will lose this urge, but since I'm me and you are you, I can't say for sure. Home is where the heart is, but is it where the soul is?
  9. We're re-rolling? Fine by me, maybe I can get something better this time. First things first, I'd find a shirt. Well, at least I might be able to avoid the Fire Nation who seems (literally and figuratively) hell bent on burning the Earth down. Plus, I might be able to rejuvenate the lands that get destroyed in the process.
  10. I should probably install Dark Dreams Don't Die on of these days.

    1. Jacobliterator

      Jacobliterator

Dark Dreams Don't Die Definitely Doesn't Disappoint. Duh.

  11. Smooth McGroove did a Heartache cover, if anyone's interested.

  12. Off to ladybug jail with you!

  13. Got my friends to sit through Troll 2. Success.

  14. It's time for me to contribute to this ethical discussion! All jokes aside, I suppose it's fair to throw in my two cents. First off, we have IV breeding. I've never actually done this, not because of the "moral" implications, but because it's boring. I don't have time for that. In fact, I've never done breeding on a mass scale until Reborn, when I tried to get a shiny Rilou (and failed over one hindered eggs later.) Now, Nintendo hasn't revealed how eggs come to be (to my knowledge) so one could argue that for the parents, it is a painless process. I mean, there is no psychical way a Wailord and a Skitty would naturally work. Now, the real question, comes to the children. Many people seem to think that a trainer is sending a level one Pokemon to it's death by releasing it, and frankly, I don't have an answer for that. Is it ethical to be trying to create a superior Pokemon? No, defiantly not. Battling... PETA's biggest argument against a video game. From what I can tell, most Pokemon seem to enjoy battling, as the usual risks during one are minimal. Is it wrong? Unless a Pokemon seems to state it doesn't want to, I see no reason. That does make me wonder if over leveled Pokemon are disobeying it's trainer simply out of spite, or if there a darker reason to it...
  15. Whenever someone brings up the whole fusing with Pokemon thing, all I can think about is Firestorm...

  16. I have more questions than answers after reading this thread, but I guess I can throw in my appreciation! It's kind of like gravity, I'm not exactly sure how it works or what it is, but I appreciate it for not sending me into the endless vaccume of space! So happy appreciation day, I'm pretty sure I'm late!
  17. FF4, I can't tell if I love it or hate it, but at least it has some Spoony Bards.

If there's one thing I've learned, you have to actively try not to sweep the first half of it with Lex and Sigurd.

Huh, I actually haven't gotten that far, I haven't even met Edge yet.

  19. What do you know, cooking helps stop angst.

  20. Ennui, thy name is Combat.

  21. Do you think that the correspondence between two characters via text/internet messages would make for a good mini story? I was thinking about that as the next "chapter" of my series.

    1. Commander

While this quote isn't exactly true you'll get the idea. "There's no such thing as a horrible idea, just horrible execution."

    2. Raindrop Valkyrie

      Raindrop Valkyrie

Yea, try it, see how you like it. It's not an oft done thing so I couldn't tell you, but if you pull it off in an entertaining or jsut stlyilistically awesome way I'm sure people would think it's coooool lol.

  22. What if Video Game characters remembered every time they died, and are also aware that the player is the cause of their death?

    1. laggless01

      laggless01

That would be a great Deadpool-game.

    2. Sutoratosu

      Sutoratosu

It would turn into a hellish game of despair and depression as they try with all their might to resist the will of the cruel and merciless god who toys with them day and night, sending them to their death over and over again without respite just to start all over with the press of a button, as if death is that simple, as if the world is so simple...

Oh wait... that's like, an undertale spoiler probably maybe IDK
