  1. Eh? Tomorrow's school? Let the pain commence....

  2. Gen 1:best is Brock and origins just made that battle so awesome. Worst is Lt surge. Don't like him for some reason. Gen 2: best is Morty. He was a bit tough and cool in general. Worst is Pryce. Such a boring old man. Gen 3: I liked Norman as he gave me the feeling that I was developing as a trainer. Didn't like the twins for the boring battle. Gen 4: volkner was pretty cool. Gardenia was lame since she was pretty forgettable. Gen 5: drayden. Badass. Enough said. Marlon was pretty lame as the final gym leader. Reborn: favourite so far is radomus. Least favourite is aya.
  3. Offensive. Really don't like stall and yet find myself resorting to stall in random battles. Im a bit impatient. Also I like taking risks like predicting switches and using some weird combinations.u
  4. My fondest memory was beating fire red with my charizard(I was young, I didn't bother with a six Mon team). After so many frustrating tries getting through lance I thought I had won. Of course not. Gary oak was there. Cue more frustration until I finally beat the jerk. God felt so happy. Thank you charizard! In case of PMD it must be when I beat primal dialga. I had no healing items and my nds battery was low and with that theme playing it truly gave the vibe of a showdown. And that ending....
  5. Pretty cool game if you ask me. Played it alot and yeah I agree muscle cars are the best way to beat this game. The only thing I disliked was the lack of money.
  6. What problems are you facing? Her whole team in general or one member? Your team is good except for some movesets. You should level up walrein and floatzel and have gengar know rain dance. With rain dance boosted attacks you should be able to beat most of her team except for quagsire and garchomp. Floatzel with swift swim should be able to out speed garchomp but with luck walrein should be able to beat garchomp. For quagsire a grass move is recommended but strong stab moves should handle it. Have a damp rock on your rain setter and keep the rain up for the battle. Good luck. If you need more help just ask.
  7. Blastoise is a versatile Mon and like everyone has said a rain team is your best choice. Meowstic male with prankster can be a good rain setter and you should get a damp rock to help. Dual screen support is also good. Manectric is a really good addition to a rain team. Under the rain thunder is quite helpful for getting rid of other water types blastoise would have trouble with. Heliolisk with dry skin is another alternative. It can learn surf and thunder and dry skin will prevent your opponent's water mons from taking advantage oftl the rain. Toxicroak is reliable and can handle grass types. Arnaldo may need a bit of breeding for aqua jet and knock off but it is really good with swift swim. Escavalier is an alternative but doesn't reap much benefits from the rain so Armaldo is better. For breeding knock off skorupi is needed. For aqua jet tirtouga is needed. For flying types you could get either a noivern(catch a noibat at tanzan mountain not any earlier than that) or swanna. Both learn hurricane. Swanna has water moves while noivern has dragon pulse and boomburst. Choose what you like. Steelix isn't bad as long as it has sheer force but be careful of it's weakness during rain. Empoleon is a good steel type to use if you want although you get it a bit late and it has some move issues. Well that's all I have to say. Hope it helps.
  8. Cool wallpaper. Strangely I don't find myself hating Fern(except for that Corey moment) since I'll admit he is a really good rival. Just an awful human being.
  9. I did get archen before serra in the museum event. I'm pretty sure about it since i also bred that archen for head smash. It didn't strike me as odd since archeops doesn't fare all that well against a team with ice shard users and evasion boosts. Wow, Etesian, that was beyond helpful. I've yet to read such an informative guide for teambuilding. That must have taken alot of effort. Thank you and if you don't mind I'd like to address some points.(Side Note: How did you guess I was keeping Manectric and Nidoqueen? Did you use mind reader?) About the manectric vs heliolisk point, what you have said is true but heliolisk movepool is really dependant on TMs and most of the good ones are a bit far. Manectric has perfect IVs and EVs in speed and special attack along with a boosting nature and the two main moves(discharge and flame burst) were chosen to take advantage of terrains something I find myself resorting to when I can't just plow my way through some oppoinents. I do plan on replacing Nidoqueen since as you said there are bettter mons but it has proven pivotal in MANY battles. As a personal code of conduct I do not plan on doing e12 breeding for TMs until I finish upto the e15 since I have heard that the gym leaders have been nerfed and so do not want to trivialize them by over preparing. I hope you do not feel undermined by this since obviously you put alot of effort into helping people in need. I'll consider the switch from Queen to King. Seeing the options regarding fighting and water types I've concluded that i should wait for some time until I can get the ones I need. Until then which water type is better between the three? Crawdaunt, Sharpedo or Whiscash? Also a few questions I had. Is Typhlosion good? Also is Rhyperior useful since I plan on getting one for a certain gym leader? As for umbreon I only considered it as a counter for certain enemies. I would be happy to stick 6 offensive pokemons and go on my merry journey bu with mutations out for my blood and trainers who don't like to keep their Garchomps restrained, I do find myself in need of a mon like Umbreon. The reason I thought of umbreon was cause my knowledge regarding stall is limited. I have yet to use Gourgeist but there's a first time for everything.
  10. I'm currently about to challenge serra and since at that point of the game a lot of options become available I was considering revamping my team and having some backup members. I decided to take a huge break to get the overhaul done once and for all instead of one at a time. I'm planning on having one Pokémon for each type and for various roles(sweeper, wall breaker, stall, doubles, etc) so I can be prepared for everything the game throws at me. Current team Serperior- leaf storm, wring out, giga drain, nature power Meowstic- psychic, light screen, signal beam, shadow ball Manectric-discharge,flame burst, ice fang, wild charge Hariyama- force palm, knock off, belly drum, strength Camerupt- lava plume, rock slide, earth power Nidoqueen-earth power, sludge wave,t spikes, body slam In PC (notable mentions)- aromatisse, houndoom, archen, eevee, gardevoir, murkrow, roggenrolla, Cottonee, cincinno What I think(sorry if I seem rude for this) 1. Hariyama and camerupt need to go. Not cutting it. 2. A fighting type is needed(lucario?) 3. A fire type probably a wall breaker 4. A water type 5. Umbreon might as well be my main stall pokemon Feel free to post suggestions since I am in need. Thank you in advance.
  11. Began my journey to be the very best like no one ever was with episode 15.
  12. Hey all of you. Been playing this amazing game for some time and it has grown to be a favourite. I just became a member and so might as well get the introduction done. I started pokemon with sapphire and started playing all the games up to black 2. Hadn't played x and y yet but one day..... I play competitively sometimes. I like this game for the story and the challenge(like so many others). What else? Just a normal teen that likes to read novels and write or attempt to write his own stories. Eh.... Not so good at introductions. Anyways, I'll end with the question. What's your favourite Pokémon? Mine's lucario.
