  1. Volbeat 65/73/55/47/75/85 --> 65/90/65/90/75/95 400 --> 475 Bug --> Bug/Electric Decent Sp. Atk and Speed allows Volbeat to (ab)use Tail Glow and become a potent special attacker. It can also run mixed sets with it solid attack and physical coverage moves like Play Rough and Zen Headbutt it learns by level up. Volbeat can learn Thunder, Thunderbolt, Charge Beam and Thunder Wave from TM. With Prankster, Volbeat can also use moves Tail Glow, Baton Pass, and Moonlight effectively. Illumise 65/47/55/73/75/85 --> 65/47/90/93/95/85 400 --> 475 Bug --> Bug/Fairy Bug/Fairy isn't the best defensive typing, but an immunity to dragon and a 4x resistance to fighting can be useful. Illumise learns plenty of moves to fully utilize. While Volbeat has Tail Glow, Prankster Illumise has better bulk and typing to use moves like Moonlight, Roost, Wish, Encore, Baton Pass, Thunder Wave, and can set up sun or rain as well as Light Screen. Illumise can learn Moonblast or Dazzling Gleam instead of Play Rough by level up.
  2. Hello and welcome! I was a long-time lurker before joined here a little while ago, so I know what that's like. Have a nice time here!
  3. I like these rankings! However, I'm not sold on Georgia being able to make it out of the SEC unscathed, despite their talent. The Bulldogs are never quite able to make the whole season without injuries, suspensions or losing games they shouldn't. Playing Alabama doesn't help either. I'd like to see a Big 12 team in the playoff too. Let's hope the selection committee feels the same way, unlike last year! I would say it's safe to assume Oregon isn't a contender for the playoff with all the players they have lost, but I wouldn't be surprised if the Ducks could do it based on the based on talent and coaching alone. The game at MSU will be a test to see if they are a Playoff contender, or just a solid Pac-12 team. Even if the Ducks are rebuilding, I don't see them losing more than one game in conference play. The Pac-12 North is improving, but even a rebuilding Oregon is still better the rest of the North. (I went to Oregon State, so it pains me to say Oregon will win the North like usual, but I can't deny the obvious.) As for the Pac-12 South, it will be interesting to see who wins it to face (more than likely) Oregon in the championship game. If the whole division lives up to the hype, it could be one of the most competitive divisions in all of college football, and I could see the Pac-12 South winner having two losses in conference. I think Arizona and USC have the best shot to win the South. However, ASU gets to play Oregon, Arizona and USC all at home, so they could make some noise as well.

  5. This tourney will have the most Dragon(ite) spam since Lance in G/S/C. :Kappa: Sounds great! (Mega Altaria might be an issue though...)
  6. A good dark type can make short work of Shade. Scrafty is the probably the best one available, especially if you get one with Dragon Dance and/or Moxie. Some other dark types available are Drapion, Skuntank, Mightyena and Cacturne. Shade's field effect can boost the power of, and be altered by, electric type moves. Good electric mons available are Ampharos, Manectric, Emolga and Magneton.

  8. With some smart play and a bit of luck, you can beat Radomus with your current pokemon. He likes to use Trick Room, so your slower mons like Scrafty, Ampharos, Dusclops and Gothitelle can do well by "outspeeding" his team. The field effect Radomus uses gives psychic moves a rock type secondary rock type which can be troublesome for Arcanine and especially Charizard, so keep that in mind. If you want a new team member, a ghost or dark type would be the way to go. Gourgeist matches up well with Radomus' team and is very bulky. Cofagrigus and Spiritomb are both bulky and slow, with Spiritomb having STAB Sucker Punch and Shadow Sneak. Golurk is slow with powerful ghost STAB moves, and resists the psychic moves Radomus uses by being ground type. Dark/Poison types like Skuntank and Drapion can take care of Gardevoir

  15. I don't know what the real numbers are for Odd Keystone or fossils appearing while mining, but from my experience it seems to ~5% at best. Also from what I've observed, since fossils and the Odd Keystone are pretty big compared to other items that can be mined, they usually only appear when it says there are 2 or 3 items available and not 4. When there are 4 items, they are usually smaller things like Heart Scales, evolution stones and shards so it's a waste of time to search for bigger and rarer things like fossils or the Odd Keystone.
