Mega Evolutions? I am collie calling it right now, that dog will get a Spiked Collar made of Stalagmites, and that sounds Heavy Metal as Fuck. edit: the rock Doge is literally based on the same breed of dog as Doge, Shiba Inu. There are also supposed myths about Shiba Inus saying that they are descended from Feral Wolves despite being cute and playful dogs. It may be based on a japanese Mountain Dog/wolf spirit who protects travelers when they cross mountains or hills. The dogs/wolves are also one of the inspirations for Amateratsu in Okami. (besides the obvious one of the Godess of the sun herself.) These Rock Doge are said to have Brown fur and long white ash tipped tails.

The koala is based on Australian folktales about dreams or "Dreamtime". The concept of Dreamtime isn't exclusive to koalas though, it is affiliated with multiple animals. Koalas are just an animal who is strongly affiliated with Australia. In other pop fictions revolving dream worlds and Australia oftem use not just koalas, but dingos, sharks, and kangaroos as well. No idea on what true dog is inspired by, if it is inspired by anything.

As of right now I am hyped for News on Persona 5, Final Fantasy 15, FF7 remake, Kingdom Hearts 3, Injustice 2, Destiny's next Expansion, Sun and Moon, and lastly of course Zelda. I am also hyped for the ps show. I keep hearing cool rumors about the next God of War and Sucker Punch Studios game.

Something tells me that his persona is Robin Hood. Everyone's persona is "not robin hood but kinda sorta is" so I get the feeling that his actually will be.

I have no idea about the bat still... But one thing you nerds might have missed is that the Lion creates not just metal, but Gold when it devours the sun. And the Bat is affiliated with Silver. The element of Gold is affiliated with Leadership, Royalty, Strength, Masculinity, and the Sun. The element of Silver is affiliated with Intuition, Intelligence, Modern Technology, Feminism, and the Moon. There is a ton of theories for the lions for alternative inspirations, but I got nothing for the bat... The star sign for the sun is Leo the Lion and Aries the Ram, The signs for the Moon are Cancer the Crab and Taurus the Bull. There is also the 72 Demons of the Ars Goetia. In the Book there is a lion named Barbas who can be summoned to teach the secrets to machinery. The only mythos mention of a Bat I can find is that the Hawaiian Equivalent to Hercules, named Maoi who slays a one eyed bat to make the day last longer. Causing us to have shorter nights. However he had more than just one task to achieve that goal. The Bat is also a sign of inevitable death. If you witness a Spiritual bat, that means your life will soon come to an end.

The game came out 2002. It tells you that every time you boot up the game. This is my first time playing the game myself and I realized that the bad guy Navis line up with Megaman robot masters of the same number. What was weird to me was what robot master/navi was blowing up the Dam. It was Quickman?!? I was totally expecting Crashman, the guy who shoots sticky bombs... Okay, whatever.

While all you nerds are geeking out about the map and the box art legends I noticed something that I am surprised that no one is talking about... Kukui! In each game the first character you meet is the professor. They introduce themselves and tell you what scientific Pokemon field they study. The games tend to revolve around or highly emphasize a new mechanic based on what they are studying. Professor Oak was studying Pokemon and human relations with them, which makes sense for RBY. It is the first game in the series and Pokemon was something new to all of us. Professor Elm studied Evolution and Breeding. Gen 2 introduced breeding, baby Pokemon, and new lines of evolutions for most of the Gen 1 mons. Professor Birch studied Pokemon habitats. RSE introduced a new way to catch Pokemon being the dive mechanic. There was also emphasis in the Box Art Legends and the evil teams wanting to create a new habitat for Pokemon by expanding the seas or expanding the land. Professor Rowan studied evolution, like Elm in GSC. And like in GSC, a lot of gen 1 and 2 mons were given new evolutions. Professor Juniper studied Pokemon origins. Even though there was a heavier emphasis in DPP on Pokemon origins, gen 5 approached the game story wise in a lot of a deeper way than the rest of the series up to date did. Professor Sycamore studied Evolution. Do I really hafta say it? This one is obvious, XY introduced mega evolution. Now we have Kukui and a new character named Lili. What is interesting is they have opposite personalities. Lili's character description mentions how she is not a fan of violence and Pokemon battling. Kukui on the other hand seems to love battling and the nature of Pokemon battling. Professor Halla is a retired samurai and Kukui is... Shirtless? My first thought when I saw that is "this man will spawn more fan art than Sycamore." However, after seeing his character description, something made him my current favorite professor. What if, like Halla, Kukui has a passion as a fighter. Lack of shirt may emphasize his love for the fight and how he is always ready for a brawl. Hence why he wears comfy shorts and lazily throws on his lab coat. Even though this is all theory crafting on my part, let's actually look at his character description. It mentions how he studies Pokemon moves, aka attacks and fighting styles. His description even details how Kukui likes to learn more about Pokemon hands on by letting them attack him and learning what their attacks are like by experiencing them hands on. I get the feeling that this guy has a vendetta against nature and likes to go around picking fights with Pokemon for hell of it, which makes him the coolest professor to date. At least to me anyways Getting to the point, Kukui studies Pokemon attacks. Does that mean something new or potentially big may be introduced in battle regarding our attacks and abilities? Will a pokemon's signature move change depending on certain battle criteria? Will Mega Evolutions change something about a pokemon's attack? I have no idea, but it is something that has been circling around my head. What do you nerds think? Is there a base for this theory, or am I just full of my own crap?
