Day One Some people tried to be clever. "I'd like to investigate myself." They couldn't though. "But there's nothing that says I can't..." Well, yeah, you could argue that, but it's virtually impossible to investigate yourself. You can't look yourself in the eye and find out your inner self, and you can't exactly find out your own background. Of course, the Mafia magically destroyed all the mirrors in the town during the night. The two tried to look into another person's background instead. The other detectives tried to look into people who had a record of being a Mafia member while others tried to see into people they didn't know much. Some though tried to see if their friends were innocent. Unfortunately, one detective, Satoshi, had his life taken away from him as he examined his data. Satoshi is dead. He was a Detective. ===== !!IMPORTANT!! I won't be revealing what kind of Detective someone was before they died. That's for you to find out, however, you'll get a chance to do so, so read on to find out about an additional mechanic. Monsieur Divergent sat in his office in the center of Investigatavia. He read some of the filed reports, "How many Mafia infiltrated the village? "How many Detective are there for each kind?" "How many townspeople are there?" He grinned as he read those reports. Of course, those detectives had started to become curious about the setup. He knew the answers to all those questions, but he couldn't just give them out. That would make the investigation too easy, right? But, he couldn't leave them without a bit of help, can he? So, he gathered all the Detectives (while the Mafia infiltrated, of course) in the Town Hall and began his speech. "With this becoming an unfamiliar kind of setup (semi-open setup where the number of people in each role isn't revealed), I have decided to offer a bit of help, but I can't make it so that the Mafia will be too much at a disadvantage as you may not use your creative thinking, aye? I will be answering ONE QUESTION ONLY PER DAY PHASE from a wide a range of questions. The answered question will be decided by MAJORITY VOTE, so along with you voting out to eliminate someone, you'll also vote for the information you want to receive." Tetsu wakes up from his bed. "That was just a dream, right?" He looks at the table near the bed and sees the pad which he took from his dream still there. "Oh my gosh... everything was real, then? And now my goal is to attempt to find the other three who have gotten items and then try to save Victory. This was such an unexpected event, but I hope I get to make sense of things later on and find the others as soon as possible." He decides that the best course of action for now was to eat breakfast. You can't think well, of course, without having your stomach filled. Night Zero The night in the village of Investigativia was somewhat different from the other nights. There was a strange ominous feeling in the air, as if there was something big that was going to happen in the village starting from that night. Of course, the so-called detectives of the village picked this feeling up and decided that there was a need to act, and they immediately readied themselves for the coming dead of night where the dark forces might strike. But, what could this set of detectives do when some of them were frauds, while others were naive and paranoid? And what could they do when even a few of them were idiots and morons? The tale of the Detectives in the village of Investigativia as they try to conquer the scheming Mafia starts tonight! How will this story end? "Interesting. I kind of expected this sort of thing would be asked of me, to go on a quest to recreate that Victory guy, but it's still not something I can adjust quickly with. The idea of an adventure fills me up, though!" Tetsu said aloud. He sometimes imagined how it would feel like to play in a video game or be in a science fiction manga, but the sensation of being on one right now in reality was far different. It had a sort of excitement to it? Of course, he knew there would be dangers and responsibilities that came with going on a quest and having powers, but still, the concept of being in one still filled him up and made him look forward to finding the other three who were assigned with the task. Tetsu decided to pick up one of the items Victory left behind. Obviously, the screen, with a pad of some kind, seemed to be the most appropriate item for him. He decided to inspect it and see how it possibly worked.

Frederick was rather interested in Ms. Tri's response to his question regarding the Abravators, but he was far more curious about the Pokelumminati which she described in her statements. He decided to ask her about it as they travelled in the vehicle they were on. "What is this about a Pokelluminati group, Ms. Tri? Was it a cult group which surfaced some years ago? What happened to them?"

Game Over! Julia decided to offer herself to the Gals in Love. It wasn't worth living anymore, now that her other dear friends, Titania, Julia, and Amaria were already dead, taken and torn apart by these girls rabidly in love. She rose to the pedestal of the sacrificial stand and said her final words, "It was fun while it lasted, but being lonely was way boring. I want to have fun with my friends in the afterlife, if there is one!" And she was executed, using her own collection of bombs. The Gals in Love were overjoyed. At last, there were no hindrances to the love that they were feeling. Now, they could freely pursue their love for Vero. As they were preparing to hunt down Vero, Vero appeared before the girls and bade them to settle down for a while. He then motioned to tell them, "I have observed your conquest to victor over the Onyx Academy Sorority and I am impressed by your courage and determination as you fought for your love. I care for all of you, but I cannot take my eyes of Shelly, who willingly offered herself to hunt for the Onyx Academy Sorority in the night. Thus, Shelly, let us go off into the night. The Gals in Love were struck by his words and congratulated Shelly for getting Vero's love. They decided to keep their love in their hearts; although their love was unrequited, they still had joy within them. Terra was also happy that all ended well, though she created some unnecessary chaos. Satoshi is dead. He was Julia. The Gals in Love have won the game! Terra has won the game! Shelly [Quinnox] is the MVP/BEST GIRL. ====== Congratulations to the Gals in Love and Terra for winning the game! Important Comments: [PLEASE READ] - First of all, I'd like to congratulate everyone who participated in the game. It's been quite a fun game especially in the middle parts, and there were some unexpected plays that I've seen from some of you. - Second, I'd like to apologize for the mistake on my part regarding the game balance. I mostly only focused on providing roles based on a character's personality, and forgot that it was prone to being damaged by massclaiming (the act of multiple roleclaiming), thus, it became a rather difficult game for mafia. To those who've stated that it wasn't good to roleclaim in the next games anymore, please don't have that mindset entirely. It's okay to roleclaim as long as [1] it will benefit your faction if you do so, [2] if you need to roleclaim to potentially save yourself, and [3] roleclaiming is central in certain setups (potentially in the next game I'm having). - Third, I'd like to say that the Onyx Academy Sorority could have played a better game, to be perfectly honest. For one, Florinia's death was rather a big blow to mafia immediately and their N0 kill was a Third Party, so it was a really rough start. But, they made a fatal flaw in D1 by bandwagoning without much reason on Jace Stormkirk. Unfortunately, they were unable to salvage it from there on... I'd just like to remind everyone that when you're mafia, you should try to make yourself look like town as much as possible and that you shouldn't make actions that can make you look scummy. - Fourth, if you're interested, please join the next game I'm having where roleclaiming and using your role is quite central, though hiding your role can still be beneficial in certain sort of ways (though not at early game). ====== Reborn Girls "Fight for Love" Mafia 1. Tetsu looked at the creature inquisitively. The creature seemed to be wearing a knight armor, however it seemed like some sort of monster. This kind of occurrence was getting weirded by the minute. He sighed a bit. He didn't expect a quest portion of this strange event so soon. He had hoped that he received answers to this place, but all he got was more questions instead. Still, he decided to ask the creature, "You're exactly what kind of creature? And you were looking for me? Are you perhaps having the intention of telling me to save you on some quest of sorts like in a medieval setting fantasy game?"

Tetsu found himself a bit dizzy and groggy when he rose up from his sleep on the mysterious ground he was laying in. He straightened his eyeglasses and took a look at his surroundings. He was 100% sure that this place wasn't his home nor was it anywhere remotely NEAR his home. He even felt that the place wasn't even anywhere on Earth. Instead, the place looked like some setting from a science fiction novel, an apocalyptic one at that. He saw the events of the most recent day replaying again and again, appearing in varied colors, before returning to the darkness which filled the void like area he was in. He looked down and examined the ground. It seemed solid and stable despite its bizarre appearance. In the distance, he saw a pool of red liquid, glowing ever brightly. As he continued to look around, he felt a sense of dread and anxiety, which pushed him to speak out loud to himself. "Wh-Where is this place? All I remember is sleeping on my bed after playing Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valencia last night and I'm pretty sure I didn't go here out of my own will. Am I dreaming?" He pinched himself in an attempt to test his hypothesis out, but to no avail. "I-I'm not dreaming? Th-This place is actually real? I know I wished that I could live in a world of fantasy, but I didn't want it to be like this mysterious, creepy place. " He sat down for a while and thought about what to do next. "Well, there's no point in moping, so I might as well find a clue on what's happening here." He decided to go check out the pool of red liquid, glowing brightly in the distance.
