Upon looking onto the profile of the priest they've beaten up senseless last night, they learned that he has an apprentice who must've tagged along in his journey. The team runs their search upon a tomb, solely for the many recent deaths transpired over the following days of their arrival. There, they find a young man who has just finished praying, only to be dragged out captive of their suspicion of the shady rumors. "Are we sure about this? He doesn't strike as the type that would harm a fly!" One of the crowd defended, but most of them disagreed with the thought. "If we're on the right track, it'd make sense that he knows about his secrets. Therefore..." The leading man of the group approaches the priest, "...Tell us, are you aware that your teacher is a monster?" "There's no way that could be truepix" He denied, "A holy man like him cannot be one, what proof do you get after what you've done yesterday?" "There's more than what meets the eye." The other throws a fur shirt that's straightly torn off from the former wearer, mixed with the stench of beer and blood. "You see this? This is the decisive proof that beats all other proofs we found today. Got any explanation?" "...That's a souvenir he received after helping out the orphanage." He explains, "It got a weird look, but how can this prove him as such?" "Uh... well, duh!" The man turns, "But it seems we'll not reach a compromise just by asking mundane questions like this. The execution has ended another life, but little did they know that they've been on the wrong track ever since it all began. [Night 3] The wait for phase change continues... With the untimely burial of a supposed hero of this story, their grip that clings upon hope starts to crumble. The remaining members who took up arms has grown suspicious among themselves, pointing out accusations and arguing that they've been doing virtually nothing to rid off the monsters in the hiding. "Cease at once, my children." A stern voice calls out to the bickering, a solemn man in white robe, looking calm in the midst of the situation. "Now is not the time to despair, for God is all-seeing, it truly isn't impossible that His grace will bask the darkness in this world. Come, let us rejoice under His command." The people listens to him, then looks at themselves in shame. What were they thinking when they pointed at their own in anger? It's as if his words reached out to their hearts as soon as they start apologizing, the Priest walks by and somehow trips over a raised plank on the floor. The sight they get to witness ends up surprising them, the Priest gets up from his fall only to realize that his robe was torn off by a nail, revealing a fur shirt with a picture resembling two bipedal wolves in a risque gesture. One of them approaches the Priest, "OwO? What's this?" "I, uh, I can explain." The Priest looks around the curious figures turning hostile. Not willing for a word of explanation, one of them yelled, "He's a fake! Get him!" They move out of their dining tables, walking on the empty streets of a dangerous town, towards a residence of an oddball. The search team discovers their target rather easily, when the man they're looking for asked what they're doing, they forcefully drag him out into the center of the town. "It's him! The one that wanders around at the same time the murder was committed! He could've gotten a glimpse of who could've done it!" One of the crowd shouted. "But first! We must ask him a simple question first." One of the search team proceeds forward and asks, "Are you a human?" The drunkard cracks up another laughter as the majority looks at themselves in utter confusion, some shaking their heads in disappointment, while that one person on the back pulls out a musket and aims for his head. A loud noise scares the crows gathering atop the fences, the crowd covers their eyes upon the gory scene they had to witness, simply because "the joke was lamer than the acrobat assassin." They decide to leave the corpse there as they disperse, before the werewolves come to get them under the strengthening full moon.
