  1. Rhaeza - Back Alley "You know, you ought to let me work my way. I gave you a signal to remain silent so that we could follow him back to his hideout. Now, instead of going on our merry way we're stuck here until the man comes to." "If there's one thing this damned umbrella can't do, it's carry smelling salts. Any ideas on how we're to wake him up? Or where to keep him until he's up?" Rhaeza raised an eyebrow. "I thought he was following you, if he was planning on 'returning to his hideout' I don't think he would have followed you out of the bar. Assuming that is what in fact he was doing. I was planning on luring him closer into the alley so I could grab him while nobody was looking rather than to run into the street and strangle him... But what do I know?" Rhaeza said, having nearly 40 years of experience in this line of work at this point. "In regards to our new friend here..." He said, gesturing to the unconscious man. "Some water always seems to do the charm, but we need to find somewhere secure, or at least make sure he can't scream. Preferably both." He said, as he disengaged the mechanism on his wristbow, but left his sleeve unbuttoned in case he needed to use it in a hurry. "I almost forgot. The name's Rhaeza. I'm a werewolf, I've been working for the Vampiric Special Tactics and Recon for the past 38 years now." The lycanthrope said, without a hint of arrogance in his voice.
  2. Rhaeza "Damn it." Rhaeza muttered as Jarvis stepped out into the open to try and choke the man into submission with... his umbrella? 'I can ask about that later, but now I would rather not have us be seen by any pedestrians.' Rhaeza used his blink to teleport right next to Jarvis and the man being garroted by the umbrella, and touched both of them. He then looked back into the alley and blinked carrying both of them with him far back into the alley where they would be less likely to be noticed. He didn't interrupt the choking of the man at all, but they were both probably surprised by their sudden change of scenery. Rhaeza flexed his Wrist and activated the mechanism that expanded the limbs on his wristbow and stepped in front of the man as his Shadow Cloak began to wane. "He screams, I'll make sure he never talks again." Rhaeza muttered in his cold monotone voice as he pointed his wrist at the man's neck.
  3. Rhaeza - Alley Outside of The Tattered Wing 'Have to act now.' Rhaeza thought to himself, before developing a plan to lure the man into a trap. He engaged his Shadow Cloak so that even if the man walked a foot away from him he wouldn't be seen, and threw a coin further down in the middle of the alley. 'Come on now, just a few steps into the alley and I have you...'
  4. Rhaeza - Alley Outside of The Tattered Wing Rhaeza watched Jarvis exit the building and quickly round the corner into the alley that Rhaeza anticipated that he would go to. Jarvis made a hushing gesture to Rhaeza, and he immediately understood that the gentleman was being followed. 'I knew that somebody would have grown suspicious by now.' He thought, as he unbuttoned his left sleeve, revealing the mechanism for his wristbow. The wristbow was able to fire through the sleeve, but when the limbs of the bow expand it would rip his coat, and it is prone to be less accurate. And gods forbid if he tried to use an incendiary bolt like that. 'It could have been any of the people that were already in the bar.' The Lycanthrope thought to himself as he peered into the street, and loosened his khukuri in it's sheath...
  5. Rhaeza - The Tattered Wing (Tavern) "Some of them fancy mages were being robbed of their magic, if that´s even possible." Now that caught Rhaeza's attention. Stealing magic from mages? That is something else, and that is a threat. Rhaeza wasn't exactly a mage, but he specialized in a few forms of shadow magic, like blink, and his shadow cloak. Jarvis looked over and seemed to have noticed HIM (Rhaeza is in fact a male) for the first time. "What do you mean, stealing magic?" Jarvis asked inquisitively. "Where did this happen?" Rhaeza looked into his mug which was already empty. 'Damn how much of this piss-water did I drink? I've been here too long.' Rhaeza realized. 'It's time to move on.' Rhaeza rose from his stool at the bar and walked over to the barkeep and Jarvis. He then proceeded to slide his empty mug to the barkeeper, in a much similar fashion as the barkeeper did earlier. Rhaeza's yellow monster eyes met Jarvis's briefly then he proceeded to exit the tavern. He didn't go far, only making a right and standing in the nearest alley. He was able to see Tavern's door, and a good ways down the street from where he was standing. 'I'm surprised no authorities have showed up yet after that girl saw my eyes... Especially if that rumor was true.'
  6. Rhaeza - The Tattered Wing (Tavern) Rhaeza quietly listened to the exchange between Jarvis and the Barkeep, who did raise quite a few valid points. 'It is possible that this is all an orchestrated power struggle within the "big bosses" of the Alliance. It is possible, but obviously no evidence.' Rhaeza was interrupted from his train of thought when the barkeep rocketed another mug of ale to him, which wasn't difficult to intercept in theory. That is if you weren't wearing a wristbow under your sleeve, which Rhaeza was within a fraction of an inch of overextending the trigger mechanism on his wrist and sending a high powered bolt straight at the unsuspecting barkeep. He also caught a good glance at the two, and confirmed his suspicion that the one was in fact one of his 'squad members', and he was clearly the human spy from the briefing that he skimmed through judging from his attire. "The city guards are stopping almost every outsider they don´t like the look of - which is practically everyone who doesn´t have an halo and fancy feathered wings - and some people were even arrested for some time, but nothing conclusive." Rhaeza overheard from the barkeep. 'Great, as if I wasn't concerned about my suspicion level before. Note to self, avoid eye contact as much as possible while in the streets.'
  7. The Wilds on the road to Marblegate, Rhaeza The only thing that Rhaeza loved more than punching an arrogant bastard in the throat after they assumed that Rhaeza was a demon because of his amber eyes and vertical pupils was getting to travel long distances alone in the wilds. A few miles out of The Thousand Rhaeza shifted into his werewolf form and Strapped his bag to his back, which to an uneducated stranger would be a rather amusing sight, but it was either that or all equipment be OSP (On Site Procurement). 'I hate wearing this thing, but at least this one won't fall off and get found by a troll again...' Rhaeza then took to the wilds on, may be more or less considered 'the scenic route'. Running through the darkness, hearing every small sound or creak of the wilds, seeing everything within reason due to his obvious night vision, howling at the moon occasionally, were all very appealing feelings. Especially after being cooped up in The Thousand for a while waiting for the alliance to get their shit together. Rhaeza arrived under the cover of darkness at Marblegate and slipped into the city undetected, as he always decided to do the first time he visited a city. Marblegate was one of the few major cities that Rhaeza surprisingly never visited on 'business trips', mainly because the Vampires would rather not develop hostile relations with Angels, and for good reasons. Rhaeza explored the city under the cover of darkness for a while before deciding he was going to need a map if he wanted to find anything important in this city. Marblegate: upon the arrival of the rest of Rhaeza's unfortunate company, he was sitting in a bar having a stiff drink, and eavesdropping on the patrons. "Can you believe that stupid Dlanod wants to run for office? He really thinks that we need another wall..." "But he'll stop all of these violent bigots from entering the city, or at least the political district!" Unfortunately nobody had anything that interesting to say, yet of course. A woman with dark hair and a unnecessary amount of 'beauty' products sat next to Rhaeza's corner at the bar. "Haven't seen you around here before handsome..." Rhaeza slowly turned his head and looked at her with his piercing unnatural, monster eyes. The woman gasped and backed off like so many others. Rhaeza smiled to himself. 'Works every time.'
  8. "So what that's it? We're to take out some terrorist group who has killed a couple politicians? Do we actually know anything else about them? Where they are hiding? Or is that all going to be in the mission brief that hasn't been typed up by a secretary yet?" Rhaeza said to Vermillio with a touch of sarcasm in his voice. "And also the fact that the Alliance has decided to throw a group of strangers together with conflicting tactics, skills, and as made quite obvious by now opinions as well." This wasn't adding up to Rhaeza, something seemed wrong about all of this. almost like this was an experiment and they were the guinea pigs.
  9. Rhaeza had been silently observing the conversations going on around the room, which is something that he had gotten quite good at in his line of work. Once Vermillio began to get serious Rhaeza felt that the topic of the actual mission was about to be broached and he focused his attention. After Vermillio was finished explaining the purpose of this "task force" people already began bombarding him with questions. "If this is to be gathering intel on a target and then silently dispatching them, surely bringing someone specialized in direct combat will only serve to drive our prey into hiding." Rhaeza looked at the little boy, who was instantly recognizable as a vampire to him. He actually felt comfortable, having lived among vampires for most of his life. "That is why we have a variety of talents in our special group here. The people who know how to be quiet and 'not drive our prey into hiding' take point. Then we have our bruisers in the back ready to attack when we find a suitable reason to engage the enemy." Rhaeza said, crossing his arms and standing with his weight on one his left leg like he normally did, so he was free to react quickly. "This is the kind of work that I specialize in." That last part was only half true. Rhaeza had a vast knowledge on how to tactically pin and engage enemies, sneak pas groups of enemies unseen, and kill groups of enemies unseen (depending on their strengths.) The only problem was that Rhaeza had taken to working alone, and for good reason. Most of Rhaeza's allies usually didn't survive, and he blamed himself for it.
  10. Rhaeza couldn't help but smile a little at Vermillio's embrace of his new company members. As much as Rhaeza enjoyed working alone (mainly because it was all he ever did), he was curious about his new 'companions'. Sure Rhaeza got around in his travels, but most of that was sneaking through towns unnoticed or shifting to his werewolf form to traverse the wilds much faster than any mount could carry a skilled rider, or even one of these vehicles that he keeps hearing about. Rhaeza was intelligent, but he may have forgotten to do his homework on some of other races and their specialties, so this was a bit of a learning experience for him. Rhaeza spent most of his life in the vampiric STR (special tactics and recon), aside from his earlier life, which he tends to avoid talking about. The STR provided Rhaeza with a ton of resources and information at his disposal, which in most cases he tended to make use of, except humans. Rhaeza found them to be terribly boring, being surpassed by their own technology in many cases. 'Don't zone out again, this could be important.' He thought to himself, stopping thinking about himself, and begun to focus his attention on the others. 'Maybe if I don't get up I won't have to hug anyone... That is a practice of these people that I would rather not be associated with.'
  11. City of the Thousand Races, near the Gate Square - 11:00 AM Rhaeza Rhaeza always hated introducing himself. That was probably spawned from the fact that he usually worked alone. When in a situation like this he always had the rule of never speaking first, and never speaking last. He felt that he had waited long enough and stood up, his black trench coat flapping behind him as he rose. "My name is Rhaeza, not that any of you will probably care to remember it. I'm an operative for the vampiric army, and I specialize in stealth infiltration, and removal or execution of targets. And no I'm not a vampire, I'm a werewolf. And I can control my transformations. That is a story for another day though." He finished and slowly sat back down, trying to find a comfortable position, but gave up when he started to look ridiculous. 'I hope I never have to do that again. I forgot to say 'monster', but they all know what I am.' Rhaeza thought to himself, before observing some of the others in the room.
  12. Name: Rhaeza Race: Werewolf (Monster) Class: Night Blade (Spy) Primary Weapon: Khukuri Backup Weapon: Wristbow Appearance: Rhaeza typically wears an open black trench coat with some black, black, and touch of white. He doesn’t look that different from a normal humanoid with the exception of his amber eyes with vertical pupils, and longer canine teeth. He has long dark brown hair, and a short full beard. In his werewolf form his is just over a foot taller (normally just under 6 foot), and has dark brown fur over all of his body, a tail, a canine face, and long sharp claws. Basically a stereotypical werewolf, but there seems to still be an intelligence in his yellow eyes. Personality Overview: Rhaeza is more of a listener than a talker, but he has a lot of stories to tell. He trusts slowly, but forms strong bonds when he does. For the amount of stuff that Rhaeza has been through, he is more talkative than most would be in his shoes. He doesn’t usually like to talk about a lot of his previous “jobs”, for fear that he would be viewed as bragging and arrogant, but if you can get him talking he may ramble on for hours about stories of how he survived by the hair on his beard, or how scared a guard so dearly that his heart stopped... Skill Level Overview: Backstory:
  13. {Gym} As much as he hated to say it, Thoron knew that he had been beat. He was out of his element, and there was only so much that Rusgon could do, as if the giant icicles bearing down on Rusgon wasn't enough proof. "Rusgon come back." Thoron said a little ashamed as he used the pokeball that he seldom ever used, and then said to Flux, "I did my part, but Rusgon can't go on any more. I hope that someone will step up and fight beside you. Though I doubt that you will need any help," Thoron added with a slight smile, "i'll see how they are holding up at the conclave, hopefully they have beaten the mother by now" Thoron then left the gym and headed toward the conclave.
  14. I think we may have some miscommunication here because I directed Rusgon's attack at Mamo, not lassie even though Mamoswine can learn Protect from a TM I'm a little confused.
  15. {Gym Squad} "Hrmmph, Rusgon lets try something unexpected. Night Daze, and follow it up with a Focus Blast. Finish her." Rusgon obeyed with stunning swiftness sending the area of effect of the night daze and the small focus blast at the Mamoswine hoping to catch her off guard. "Don't rely only on your attack though, be ready for a counter attack!"
  16. {Gym Squad} Rusgon being a relativly fast pokemon managed to dodge most of the icicles raining down on him, but not all. Just as Rusgon was clearing the "Hot zone" he was grazed by an icicle. Rusgon can't take much more of this and Thoron knew it. "Have to finish this before we pull out." Thoron muttered, and then got an idea. "Rusgon, use flamethrower one last time, but get in close..." Thoron immediately began to run toward the massive pokemon with surprising speed considering the punishment he just underwent. When Rusgon got in a reasonable distance he began to bellow a stream of fire. 'I just hope Rusgon can react quick enough...'
  17. {Gym Squad} "Damn." Thoron cursed after the field's best form of cover was destroyed, but then got an idea to handicap the Mamoswine, "Rusgon, Taunt Mamoswine, keep him busy!" Rusgon emerging from the dust of his destroyed cover standing up straight in the open as if daring the much larger pokemon to attack and Rusgon howled a challenge!
  18. {Gym} "Not much that we can really do except press on our attack, Rusgon target Abomasnow with a flamethrower!" Rusgon quickly ran out from behind the rock he was behind using as many other rocks as cover while closing the distance and torched the Abomasnow. Rusgon proceeded to return to cover like he was trained to do.
  19. {Gym Squad} Rusgon took the earthquake pretty well, but obviously not unscathed. Seeing that Vis created a perfect opportunity Thoron followed up on the golden opportunity "Rusgon quick flamethrower!" Rusgon rushed the Mamoswine before it could recover from Vis's attack, then dashed off into the blizzard for cover, and hid behind a rock to conceal himself.
  20. {Gym Squad} "Rusgon use Pursuit on Vis" Rusgon seemed shocked at first but complied and hit Vis with the weak attack.
  21. {Gym squad} Thoron had read of the ability and knew what he meant, and thought to Vis "That could work..., I could use a weak move to buff you." "Rusgon lets go," Thoron said as he agilely stepped down from the stands and Rusgon rushed to the battle field by Vis, ready for whatever that Candice could throw at them...
  22. I have been listening to Hitler gangam style for the past hour, is there something wrong with me?
