  1. Klaren let out a barely audible moan as the soldier's lance hit him. He closed his eyes in acceptance of this beautiful pain which the Goddess was so kind to allow him to experience. He couldn't do this on his own at home or at the sanctum. This was truly a blessing! He winked at the soldier that burned in the light before him. The pages of his tome slowly stopped whirling and he closed it, running a hand across its golden surface. He wanted to relax a teensy bit and just enjoy the sights and weather on this beautiful morning, but he noticed that the same guard that attacked him managed to evade the wyvern rider's halberd. "Ah, I was gonna let them do it and just enjoy myself this round, but alas! Time for some more divine punishment!" Moving to H17 and attacking Soldier 1 with Lightning
  2. "And down you go~ May the Goddess's fortune smile upon you in the afterlife." Klaren gave one last smile to the soldier that fell down before spinning, his cape following the motion. "More of you? Mmmm, entertaining!" Klaren joined the fight, eager to satisfy his desires. May it wasn't such a bad idea to get involved with this crew after all. Moving to J16 and attacking Soldier 3 with Lightning
  3. "Oh?" Klaren looked over behind his back and smiled when he saw the little guy dance for them. "Heehee, well thank you very much." Turning back to the target, he closed in and motioned lazily towards them. "Shall we too dance?" Moving to L16 and attacking Soldier 4 again with Lightning~
  4. Oh, alright, then I'll go act again if the issue's already as good as resolved
  5. It says he danced for us ~<3 He can dance for two people max in a 2 space range.
  6. Yesyes, I shall try to make no more mistakes! A-anyways, I may be wrong, but why did it hit me back? I mean, it's okay if it's cuz of roleplay and I don't really care cuz I'm a deranged masochistic monk but I just wanna know, cuz I attacked from range~
  7. Excusations, I was looking at the info listed under starting items! My fault, my hit is 93 bows
  8. "Oh my... Everybody is going over there..." Klaren followed the group, a quirky smirk finding its way across his face as he noticed the lone soldier. "Hey there, perfect target." Klaren moved to the area next to the forest. They were supposed to just defeat these guards and get to the prison building, right? Still, it would be really nice if he could get smacked around a bit before they managed to do that, even if these soldiers weren't a big issue. He held the tome of light in his hand lazily, and, through his half-opened stare, winked at the armored guard before snapping his fingers. Moving to M16 and attacking Soldier 4 with Lightning
  9. Wha-wha, is that a threat? D: I'll have you know my Firepower's still a 6! And that 6 is the best number ever! But alas, I was doomed from the start of the fight. Now I've better listen to Aries and develop fast so I can have Mommo think straight (gah!) for a change.
  10. Nyaaah! IiiintSyyyyys! Now I gotta make you use your reflexes twice before even having a chance of hitting you, gnyoooooogh~
  11. Slumbering Giant VS Supernova Mommo expected her attack to obliterate her enemy entirely, or at the very least, put them out of commission. With them surviving the blow, losing only one of their arms but no mobility whatsoever... She sacrificed her own trump card for nothing, then. Fighting was always about conserving and conquering, the two c's. Now, she was practically a sitting target for Supernova, but a sitting target with very heavy defenses. As much as the Giant was at its limits, Mommo had to push it a bit further... It had to last a few more minutes before completely failing her... It had to... After all, it was designed to be resistant. For whatever reason, she found herself gripping the sphere around her neck at the same time as she grabbed the controls again with a tremble in the corner of her lips. This was her finale in this fight. Sparks danced around the rather ravaged back of the iron giant and the cannon it held in its hand. The heat from Supernova's last assault was almost unbearable and her generator was in jeopardy... And yet, as Supernova collided with it, the Giant endured it all. The flames, as hot as the sun itself as they may be, would be stopped by the ravaged armor plating. The impact, however, would still be hard on both Mommo and her mech. She was prepared to do one more thing before ejecting, though. Seeing as her conditions were met (none of the 3 cluster grenade attacks on her opponent were successful, and the attack requires two misses), she could do it. Holding the cannon in her still moveable right hand, Mommo had her mech jump with whatever power it had left and smash it into the ground below. The small island exploded as soon as Supernova made contact and the power of the blast carried across the marine terrain, raising a circular wave across the surface from the center as the island itself crumbled and exploded in a pillar of water 5 m tall and as wide as the island that would surely encapsulate Supernova as well given the timing of her performed action. "Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!" Mommo dislodged from the mech almost immediately. The safety measures kicked in and she, in turn, was kicked out in her less armored, but just as heavily armed garments. She was, however, carried by the torrent underwater and away from Supernova's sight. With what breath she had left, she activated the cannons on her arms and the battle continued... Armor 6 point bonus - protection against any attack (used against Nova Strike) Using my Signature Attack to send a powerful shockwave through the arena, raising a wave and destroying the island I am currently standing on Using my Special Ability - Mommo's stats have changed (Armor: 6 -> 3, Speed: 1 -> 4)
  12. Slumbering Giant VS Supernova Mommo grit her teeth. As much as she was expecting her opponent to do this and had taken appropriate countermeasures, she did not like the idea of them coming too close to her, like HUNTER did. Still, Supernova fell into a trap, a plan forged in chaos of panic and out of sheer desire to get him away, but a plan nonetheless. And it was gonna work. It pretty much had to work. Mommo's reflexes weren't up to par with her opponent's and it was true that she wouldn't be able to turn around fast enough to blast them away efficiently, but there was something else she could do. She's pushed her opponent to waste away one of their trump cards and, in the process, also managed to assess their high level of speed and maneouverability. But, no matter how speedy Supernova was, they most likely wouldn't have been able to notice one thing-Mommo's cannon was turned the opposite direction. Mommo had taken the opportunity created by the chaos and the whole explosion of water she'd created to detach her cannon so she could hold it upside-down under her left arm. Sure, this also meant disconnecting the cannon from its main power-supply (which was the mech itself), but the thing had been designed with this possibility in mind. It could fire a couple of shots before powering down completely. That being said... Mommo didn't really disconnect it properly. She just kind of tore it off. She wouldn't be able to connect it again, but it was fine. Two shots would be way more than enough, especially at close range, and especially with one of her own trump cards taken into account. "Don't touch me!!!" Mommo shouted, the Slumbering Giant a blazing mess as errors began popping up due to the heat from Supernova's onslaught getting waaaay to close to the power generators. "Firrreeee!!" The cannon fired another explosive round, right into Supernova's upper torso, as Mommo positioned her mech's arm in the direction. The power of the blast at this range would have been able to tear armors as strong as her own. And at such close range, that was exactly what would also happen once the round exploded into Supernova. Mommo's mech would suffer damage as well, enough to push her into using her special ability after this attack. Firepower 6 point bonus - Insta hit
  13. Slumbering Giant VS Supernova - Time for a tango of overblown character-development that will later allow me to do stuff, hopefully!!! Mommo was growing pissed. Really now, whatever that thing around her neck was supposed to do, it better do it now, because she was starting to imagine HUNTER's tongue digging down her throat again. This was looking more and more like her fight with the HUNTER, except that HUNTER had a mace and a spear and this guy had his fists and could fly apparently. Flying wasn't gonna help him. As beads of sweat trickled from her furrowed brow, Mommo directed her right hand-cannon towards her enemy above, shotting a beam of energy at it, strong enough to blow away these small islands. Whatever it would do against Supernova was unclear, though her was probably gonna avoid it anyways. Out of almost pure panic, she fired a myriad (like, two batches of dozen, so 24) of explosive rockets from her back that flew at Supernova, threatening to lodge themselves into his engines, moving quite quickly and cutting off the escape routes in all directions, while the blast of energy surged straight at him. Two cluster grenades were fired as well at Supernova, clusters falling like hail on Supernova from above. "Stay away- or I'll, I'll destroy you!" Mommo activated activated the cannon on her back and let it slide through the mechanisms, stopping attached to the back of her left hand. She then lowered it towards the water. "Loading explosive cartridge!" A loud clank would be heard. "Fire!" The surface of the water directly in front of Mommo's island practically exploded as the cannonball grenade fired at it exploded almost immediately, as its timer was set, sending a massive pillar of water upwards (high enough to reach Supernova as the height at which he was flying hadn't really been specified and we only know he's dropping towards Mommo, but it ain't an assault anyways, but a curtain for Mommo to hide behind) which spread equally to all sides, blocking her view of Supernova as well as vice-versa. She completely disregarded the unusual heat readings her mech had been picking up from Supernova's newest revealed move. But she had a plan to destroy him for good, even if he survives her onslaught.
  14. Well I've tried to participate in all of the Fate rps here except the one I hadn't set even been on the site for, so like, yes I have no clue what to vote for, though, cuz I'd be fine with anything. Just like, having only Servants would be a nice little experiment or something, now that people have started mentioning it (I'll guess that opinion would be the 'other' option on the poll then)
  15. Slumbering Giant VS Supernova Mommo wasn't at all confident. If anything, she was extremely worried after what happened in the last fight. So no, this wasn't confidence, this was a facade, and an attempt to counter the enemy as much as possible. Supernova started flying around the ield. Good, now she had found out one of her enemy's strenghts. "You're going to have to fly a lot higher if you want to feel safe..." Clenching the controls tighter than ever, Mommo spun her mech's torso as fast as she could (which wasn't really that fast, but allowed her vision of him through her screens) towards her enemy. At the same time, the Giant activated one of the cluster grenades, targeting it low above the water. It burst almost instantly, the clusters hitting the water to the side of Supernova's trajectory. Each one of them sent pillars of water towards the sky which together formed a wall of water at her enemy to distract them and damage their visibility. At the same time, seeing as the Supernova was now to the side of her, Mommo activated the cannon in her other hand and fired it right at them. The burst of energy raised as much water behind itself as Supernova did and would hit their side if they kept the same movement regimen.
  16. Slumbering Giant VS Supernova The heavy mech clunk to the ground at the same time as her opponent. Inside, Mommo was tightly gripping the controls in her hands, while using her feet to check all systems. From her neck dangled the small sphere she'd received earlier. The fact she'd found Bear out of all the people waiting for her at the fire escape still boggled her, but he'd said he had a debt to repay. Either way, she was grateful, albeit a bit suspicious of the item. Allbof this could have been orchestrated to remove her from the competition. Still, she planned to try this thing out in this battle. A test ride of sorts. She wasn't expecting it to work, but alas, nothing was ever certain, as much as she wanted it to be. If she had any sense of irony, she'd probably have laughed at the very thought of God of Wrath giving her an item that was supposed to help her alleviate her emotions, but she didn't. She lost the fight against the HUNTER, she wasn't planning on losing this one as well. "..." She responded to the man's voice with silence. Wishing her luck when so much was at stake... The HUNTER was deranged, but this guy was probably just stupid. "Mhm." She responded after a few moments regardless. That pose of his wasn't going to help him against her, she just needed to charge her cannon up. She wouldn't be able to make use of her ability in this field to cause an earthquake and honestly, she was a bit worried about the watery depths surrounding her since her mech was definitely not gonna be able to do much but sink to the bottom if it's pushed (a big if, though, since Slumbering Giant prided itself in it's immovability), but she didn't need to worry about the opponent being able to dodge much either. They could only hope to jump around the islands to avoid her artillery, but they were also vulnerable in mid air. Speaking of islands... All systems were go. There was no time to waste, it was time to put the opponent to the test. The mech's right hand opened to reveal an energy cannon which Mommo didn't point at her enemy, instead, she pointed it at the surface of the other island. Firing off a blast of concentrated energy, she watched as the dark blue ray made contact with it and made short work of what little ground was above surface. With one island already gone before the battle had even begun, Mommo pointed the cannon at her enemy, almost threateningly so, as all of the compartments in her mech's body opened up to reveal machine guns, cluster grenades, rocket missiles and laser cannons. "Now we fight."
  17. Oh look, matchups Imma take whatever advantage I have and subjugate it into the pool of my own incompetence. It should come out slightly below a draw, I suppose. Or perhaps I should better figure out how Mommo's mech should be used, since I've invested 0 minutes in that, eheh Anyways, thank goodness I'd left the room before HUNTER did what she did, damn.
  18. Geee, well anyways, I prolly wouldn't win even with it xP But combat meditation sounds nice, I wonder how it'll go, 'specially with all that's happening
  19. A thingie that helps against EMPs... hmm, I wonder who I'll be fighting next, then, huehehe~
