It had been a while since I was last here and seeing the seed update and stuff to the field effects I thought I'd see all the details and changes to the old fields but the official field effect section just has a basic explanation and no details like it used to. Does anyone know where all that info can be found now? It was insanely handy.

Looks pretty cool, just hope it comes out before Sun and Moon so I don't have to wait until I'm done with that to play this. But man my Clefable will love this field since it has Moonblast, cosmic power, and meteor mash and my mawile pokemon catcher should be tanky enough to handle the legendaries.

Still not sure whether to get Sun or Moon. I mean I'm kinda drawn to moon but I don't like Lycanroc's Midnight form and since I'll likely get both Rowlett and Bounsweet a rock type would be super handy since it covers all of grass's weaknesses except poison. Might be tolerable if I name it Gwar, Slayer or something metal.

I had planned on waiting to see more of the version exclusives before pre-ordering Sun or Moon but after successfully building my first computer I decided to treat myself and just said heck with exclusives and risked it with Team Moon.

Fired up my Reborn file for the first time since I've officially finished up with Alpha Sapphire. It's kinda weird going back to 2d sprites but it has a rugged charm to it. I still have episode 15 to do but I'll wait until 16 comes out since the pokefever hasn't flared up again yet.

I first encountered shinies in my Pokemon Zeta run but every single one was already owned by a trainer, grunt, or gym leader. That game got so troll-ish at times. My first ever one I caught, which was in reborn, was a Swadloon. In official games it was a Kecleon in Alpha Sapphire. I got really lucky in AS but mainly since I somehow caught two shiny Petilil almost back to back in a Mirage Island. Though the funny thing I was so excited about the first that I somehow didn't notice I had gotten a second until much later. Love those two to bits.

Oh my gosh, Petilil in PokeAmie is so freakin' adorable with its cute little sounds. I never thought they could make it even cuter than it was but they did it. Can't believe it took me this long to play around with one in it.

Magmar and Magmortar even normally they look a bit goofy but the pink shinies just doesn't suit them at all. Also the Gothi line, another one that is only two shades from the original and with Gothita the only difference is they eyes. Machamp, Fearow, marowak, and Stantler are other mon that just look awful in green.

I'm thinking for my 2nd run of Reborn, which I'll do once it is 100% complete, I might just switch the regular and shiny sprites. Whichich would essentially make it a 99% shiny rate.

Due to ORAS' story, characters being mediocre, my overactive imagination and writer tendencies have started making up for it. I've essential written a skeletal fan fiction starring my mon, with two story arcs. One for the main story and another to keep me from getting too bored of trying to catch them all and quitting half-way through. It makes it a lot more fun for me.

I should've phrased that better, it was more story that was mediocre. The characters were better but having recently finished Reborn episode 14, followed by Shovel Knight and Okami-den, the characters seemed blander than they actually were. Some of the characters just didn't make as big of an impact on me than they might've otherwise. It may also stem from some disappointment with some major battles. I mean random trainers/pokemon in the field should not be harder than Team Aqua a...

I'd imagine it would be fine. In Solo runs you are allowed to use another mon as an HM slave/expert you just can't use it to fight. So I imagine as long as you don't use it to fight and level it up like you would a magikarp it would be fine as long as you just use it as a headbutter. Besides in order to get lileo you'd need to get one to bibarel anyway. Also in cases of monotypes where there isn't a starter with that eventual typing you're allowed to use a starter until you find one of your chosen type. Though I'm not familiar with the specific rules of Monotype runs. -
So after waiting and searching for weeks in Alpha Sapphire I finally got a Mirage Forest with petilil in it. I kinda went overboard and ended up catching 25 of them with the dexnav. But they're just so darn cute, especially when they use entrainment and bounce around like that.

Hopefully perish song still works on this field, Otherwise my godslayer Jynx is almost useless. Still, I might have to train up an Omastar just for the holy field fights, just for the lulz. But man, the next Arceus fight is going to brutal. I can't imagine Ame making it anything lower than level 100.

I figured it was an April Fool's joke because of the forums still being up and that late last year Nintendo announced that they were allowing fans to use nintendo stuff in non-commercial projects, and Reborn probably falls under that. So I don't think we have any worries of any actual DMCAs. Still, that was a clever yet very evil April Fool's joke.
