Yes, your save data can work with older episodes. But to save you from the trouble to go back in an episode for breeding solarbeam, cyndaquil can't learn solarbeam only typhlosion can! So it won't be passed as a tm egg move

Mega-Swampert can be really painfull to deal with, if you have lost your venusaur For that I will suggest to run solarbeam on ninetales just for it! Also jolly max-speed M-swampert 2hko venusaur in the swich in with earthquake outside of the sun! So running timid on venusaur might come in handy if you haven't set up the sun. Also you can put some ev from speed to add some bulk this way since in sun it still outspeed most pokemon in ou. Scizor walls M-swampert all day, but can't do anything against it. All your other pokemon have no way to deal with it

An alternative way, is the use of x-accuracy. But is usefull only in gym/boss battles

Wide lens can be found on wild yanmas, although it is a really small chance (5% i think). Also you can buy zoom lens that boost the accuracy by 20% instead of the 10% boost the wide lens give, but only if you are slower than your target Edit: Greninja'd

It's a really good team overall, although there is space for development. 1st I recomend breed a new Lotad with giga drain and leech seed and with rain dish for it's ability (swift swim is also a good choice). Sharpedo is better wih physical moves so waterfall/dive > surf. Also adaptability crawdaunt is another choice for water/dark. Rain dance support is also really helpful so you can learn it to more pokemon (swanna and ludicolo i think are the best to set it up). Definetely get a physical water stab on azumarill over double edge. I also recomend lanturn and a water/ground pokemon (swampert and quagsire are the best) for covering the electric weakness instead of the seaking.

Toxic spikes on Drapion can be very helpfull, especially with umbreon. If your Blaziken hasn't spedd boost, find an abiliy capsule to change it's ability. It can set up easily with bulk up and 6-0 her whole team.

Ferro and aegislash are not ingame yet, bisharp and bronzong come really late game. But there are a lot of options for steel types like steelix, bastiodon, excadrill, forretress, magnezone, mawile, escavalier and the only pseudo-legend we have access metagross

You need to have defeated Julia and then on a raining day or night you can find numel outside of the destroyed train station (it works both for normal rain and thunderstorm i think)

Leafeon is good, but without X-sissors and Dig it is walled easily. Chesnaught and Gourgeist are good choices as they do almost the same job as Leafeon, and later on you can rethink adding Abomasnow, Maw Rotom and /or Whimsicott

I would vote for Honedge but it's to op! Maybe if you put a rule that you will evolve it only once or zero times (until maybe charlotte?)

If it was possible, Ame would definitely make something like this to get a powerfull pseudo-legend like Garchomp

I'm currently doing a ground monotype and it isn't that interesting :/ The only hard part is before Julia where you can only have your starter, but after that it's pretty easy! You can have a lot of options and so many double types that makes the monorun look less mono...

Wow! More an more are starting new monoruns and that's awesome. I'm voting for a ghost monorun cause is not a common type for the begining of the game! Good luck whatever monorun you start

What episode are you currently using? The OR/AS moveset were implimented in 14.5 release. Maybe you are using an older one

That shiny Shinx looks amazing!!! I have only played the slots to gather coins for a trapinch in my ground monorun, so i never had the chance to use Luxray in Reborn!

Wild Magnemites have a 5% chance to hold a Metal Coat, so if you are desperate for a Steelix go to Shade's Gym with a pokemon with Compoundeyes as it's ability, put it first in your party even if it's fainted and the chance will be increased to 20%. If you are bored to do all of this then defeat Noel and return to Tanzan Depths

Lead with toxic spikes Nidoqueen! Set 2 layers of t spikes, spam earth power until reflect wears off + wastes all of his ultra potions and then sludge wave for a OHKO and change the field. He will probably change to his Porygon-z next, so bring your Gyarados and set up DD. Porygon will be toxic poisoned and lose health due to corrosive field, so it won't be that hard. Also definetely change Gyarados' ability to moxie!

Get a Cammerupt and lava plume/rock slide all her pokemon! Numel gets flame burst too if you don't want to hit your teamates with lava plume, but quilava benefits more with it's flash fire ability

One pokemon that i found very good and underrated is grimer! This thing has saved me hundred of times and is usefull through the whole playthrough. It's very bulky and can stall the sh*t out of anything that can be poisoned. A real savior in every double battle with it's poison gas that targets BOTH opponents and the sludge wave. With the random accuracy drops from it's mud bomb it made my stall tactic more easy. And the black sludge made it the mvp against aya even though i couldn't poison any of her pokemon. If muk had the attack and sp.attack swaped it could be even more better offensively but still it gets the job done even with the weak special attack it has
