He is only using moves from the first generation. He played as if he were in the first generation; no switch, use the strongest move of the type, use all the starters, have no plan of attack, disregard abilities, etc

Can you put the final evolutions of the pokemon you've announced into tiers? An announcement that actually reveals few things

We know it's supposed to be a supportive pokemon. We have an idea of how the starters will end up as, and most of the other announced mons are this region's counterparts to the ones seen in Kanto. I know we'll be annoyed by Harlequid, but will it be Sableye type or Thundurus type? No need to tell me details, just general things about this and the other pokemon announced, because frankly, people tend to forget them.

If rocks are on the field, the Fighting gym leader will not have a single chance to play. edit: it learns Bulk Up, so it can become bulky fast enough to deal with a weak rock move from Cradily (not Armaldo tho) -

There should be a banlist that follows the example of smogon's monotype banlist. Pokemon that are way too powerful on their own against certain types thus create an instant win condition, or form a core that cannot be bypassed should be in the banlist. Examples include Talonflame, Greninja and Aegislash. -
