It pretty decent as a bulky spinner. It has an advantage over Starmie where it can beat Ferro easier with Aura Sphere without sacrificing a moveslot for HP Fire. Scald is still one of the best moves in the games, so can't go wrong there. Aura Sphere also helps with Magnezone, as well, so you could probably do a bulkier set with little offensive investment with Scald/Rapid Spin/Aura Sphere/Ice Beam to hit things like TankChomp, Dragonite, Tangrowth, ect for strot damage.
