Ugh. I've had two teachers like that (assuming you mean the teacher is the one that always thinks themselves to be correct). Sometimes they grow old with their methods and they never keep updating their information. Next person was skiing, snowboarding, sledding, ect. down a hill and they ended up rolling and tumbling down spectacularly.
