  1. All the unseen type combos with a (or multiple) x4 weaknesses are: normal/dark (x4 weak to fighting) normal/ice (x4 weak to fighting) normal/rock (x4 weak to fighting) normal/steel (x4 weak to fighting) fire/ice (x4 weak to rock) fire/poison (x4 weak to ground) electric/poison (x4 weak to ground) electric/rock (x4 weak to ground) ice/bug (x4 weak to fire and rock) ice/steel (x4 weak to fighting and fire) ice/fairy (x4 weak to steel) fighting/dragon (x4 weak to fairy) poison/rock (x4 weak to ground) poison/steel (x4 weak to ground) And despite hoopa exists, ghost/psychic (x4 weak to ghost and dark) That's all of them, I think. All of them are very intriguing. I always wondered what a steel/ice could be like. Also, I just remembered Toxicroak is x4 times weak to psychic, and is also one of my fav fighting types, so yet another one for my list. Hydreigon and scrafty too, you poor fairy-allergic things, I love you two.
  2. Bug/ice cricket? bug/ice cricket.

Personally, I prefer Aurumoth, but Syclant is cool too.

Aur(a?)moth was the first smogon CAP pokemon I fell in love with (and one of the few tbh). It is quite awesome with that illusion antic xD

      Cyaloom

I got to know CAP right before Aurumoth was released and I tried to make some teams but I never really used them in serious fights :)

  3. Well I don't personally think you're supposed to bring your mon against its x4 weakness in battle, so they are as fine as any other. Except talonflame. Anyways, volcarona and the bug/flying ones (scyther, vivillon, etc.) are mine.

  5. I assumed control of the SHIA. All your predictions are belong to us. Dunno, micky33*106?
  6. You guys can discuss this aspect as much as you want in here (after all, it IS a se7en-related discussion), but please keep it cool. Deadpool (well you actually changed your name again but it's too late now, too late!) I don't think anyone took your comment as an attack. So far the most "insult"-like bit I could find was the part were Commander says "stupid idea with a stupid reason behind it", but I think that was just a way to express his opinion and including the word "stupid" I don't think he meant to make it personal in any way, to be honest. I know it might seem as an attack when everyone replies against one's original point, I've been there, but I don't think there was animosity from nobody. Now that's (hopefully) clear, night talk! discusssss!
  7. Does anyone now which user here in the forums holds the record of having more status updates? I'm kinda curious

      Hmm, let's check.

      *checks*

Kosher has 66 pages of updates. Maelztromz has 76. For now he's winning all bets.

      dead account

SHIA has 79 pages of updates.

  8. I still don't know who redemption Ariel is, but I think the same as Az, Huk and Nova. I mean do you have any idea how many times I've been in this kind of situation? you know Nuclom, the thing from the other day? A while ago I found in deviantart a fakemon that is almost the exact same thing as nuclom. The evolution line and typing are different, but if you look at them they seem the same. This doesn't mean you'll see me going crazy to re-draw Nuclom, or ask the guy on DA to re-draw his: everyone's mon is their own original content, and a coincidence is no reason to be changing one's work. After all, this only confirms that great minds think as one xD
  9. Even tho I think it was Tomas, if it was me....what I probably said is that if you like redheads, you'll enjoy this game. I'll leave it at that for now xD
  10. Brown is the color of life, my child! And oh man, I've been waiting so long for this game's beta to come out!
  11. I searched Trevenant in smogon to read some sets, and all of them are called "DON'T USE TREVENANT". Why is that?

      Shamitako

Yes and no. If moved down a tier there's a chance it would be severely overpowered

There's always a few Pokemon that are terrible in the tier they're in but OP when moved down one

      IDK about Trevenant specifically tho

    3. RasenShot

      RasenShot

^If that were the case, it would have been moved to BL2, but it's still UU. I belive they wrote that just for shits and giggles.

    4. Lil' Baby Rupe

      Lil' Baby Rupe

Thought I should follow up on this 1, the thread that you looked at was an XY analysis, where Trevenant was a UU mon and was terribly outclassed in that tier. Since then it has moved down to RU where it is better. You found the outdated analysis. There is a newer one somewhere on smogon if you search hard enough

Or posting screenshots from that game lol.

  15. Someone who sincerely likes bad jokes, has an integrity you simply can't say "no" to.

  16. I'd say the Chandelure line. I like all the inanimate object pokemon, from grimer to klinklang, from cryogonal to aegislash, but chandelure is just so wicked. Hits like a truck and has well rounded stats all around. Plus its cry is amazing. Litwick is also so cute. Shame it is a psycho candle :/

  18. It's doing good. For example, just today, Calvius finished all the cries for all the mons that will appear in episode 1!
  19. Well, even keeping in mind all you said about radioactivity being a special kind of pollution and all, the actual reason why the Nuclom line was made part steel is because Uranium is literally a metal. So is plutonium, and all actinides for that matter. The poison type comes from the reason that, well, as you just said, radioactivity is highly poisonous to most (if not all) living things. Also kind of a trivia thing, I originally intended radioactive (Nuclom's ability) to be ineffective against bug types besides steel and poison which cannot be poisoned in any case. I thought this was a cool side effect to keep the myth that insects such as cockroaches aren't affected by radiation living. I got rid of that idea before presenting the ability, as in this game there are a lot of bug, steel and poison types, so this ability's use would have been greatly diminished. In real life, insects are not immune to radiation, but the effects a long exposition has on them varies a lot from the one it has in other groups such as mammals. Basically the organisms that are "immune" to radiation in Earth are a small group of bacteria that can withstand energy levels thousands of times greater than those humans can. Cockroaches are halfway there: if you gather enough radiation, you can actually kill them.
  20. Well, let's start by my fav hands down: Dragonair The marine blue, slender, snake-like body, dark blue orbs of mystic appearance, angel wings that are also ears, beautiful pokemon eyes.... Dragonair is not only my fav middle evolution, it is my fav dragon of all times (Giratina and Goodra are also dragons, but Gira is my fav legendary, whereas Goodra I also love but not as much as Dragonair). The only thing I wish is that It had a final evolution that made its beauty some justice. Dragonite is strong and I like it as well, but you go from blue to orange, from mystical orbs to antenna, from slender body to massive. If Dragonair's stats were better, I would not evolve it: in fact I have done this a couple times in some games, but it just saddens me that it performs so badly due to how low its speed and defenses are compared to other members of my team at latest levels. Basically you're forced to go with Dragonite if you want power. Power over beauty. Other middle evos I like include: Braixen. Everyone preferes it over Delphox, which I don't understand, but I love the whole line so... Sliggoo; between the Goomy meme and the cute Goodra, it seems like Sliggoo was forgotten by fans. That should not be the case IMO. Servine. Serperior is my fav fully evolved grass starter, and I love the whole line, including Servine. Ivysaur. I like it more than Venusaur at least. Kakuna. Dunno why but I always loved it, my fav coccoon pokemon. Bayleef. Is so adorable! I always liked it more than Meganium. Roselia. I like the whole line, but Roselia is my fav design wise.
  21. I kinda answered that one question to you already Pool (can I call you Pool? yeah I know you'll let me), but pretty much the reason the Nuclom line exists is because I like the steel/poison typing, and that I have the theory that there are certain ideas that GF won't touch, radiation being one of them, so I might as well do it for them. Basically I was just chilling in my house and thought having a steel/poison would be nice. Then I drew it. Then I thought it needed something more than poison touch/poison point to reflect the whole radiation thing. Then I made radioactive. Then I wrote their stats and name down to avoid forgetting about it, and that's how they came to be. Most of the mons that I offered at the beggining started as mere mons I came up with for fun. That's why in the old CAP thread there were detailed stat/ability/name descriptions of the Ebounny line and another line in a post I made, but since they're now in a game, I took the precaution of "erasing" that post long ago xD. There were also traces of other mons that I used to talk about before starting to put them in an actual pokedex with this one guy (*wait for it*) Tomas, but I don't think those exist anymore, I either edited them or the threads just got deleted. I think there are like actually just.....uh....6/7 lines that I made specifically for this game, out of 32. EDIT: Yeah Huk, you talk a lot. You talk the truth, however, so it's all fine xD. Also what do you mean by deserving a more strange type because they're suuuper man-made? you want nuclom to be a nuclear type? lol
  22. Scald might make sense and what not, but I assure you...if you burn... not even a 4 times SE ground type move is able to OHKO, which is a problem. If you top that with the fact scald is SE on ground types and other users of EQ like fire types (which are Nuclom's other weakness) and rock types... nuclom's evo might just become... broken beyond repair. That aside, this game being featured as a CAP-like tier in smogon would be actually very interesting, yet somewhat challenging. For example, balancing these mons with canon mons is....hard, to say the least. EDIT: KH means what you said about radioactive poisoning, comparing it to the situation in reborn, and implying is because of nucloms that reborn is so contaminated.
  23. Do you mean the pok....oh the steel beam thing ok nevermind dumb question. Also yes, this is another mon I drew. I drew them all :/ I have the theory that Gamefreak just won't release a pokemon based on radiation due to Japan's problems with radiation after the earthquakes time ago, and well there's also Hiroshima, Nagasaki, .... mutations in fetuses and all the things that people is concerned about. Is like Porygon: get related to a sad incident, never appear in the anime ever again. Even the move Earthquake has never appeared after a certain episode due to the sensitive topic of earthquakes in Japan....and the episode where Tentacruel invades a city in the earlier seasons was censored in USA due to the 9/11 sensitivity. Well what I'm trying to say, is that certain ideas for canon mons are unlikely to be created due to the responsabilities a real business like GF has. But I ain't no business. I can make all kinds of "politically incorrect" mons. Although there's nothing politically incorrect about Nuclom, I just really like the steel/poison typing.
  24. Well all mons learn Rest by TM Ceph, so that one was kind of a given :/ Also a shame we aren't in gen V no more, otherwise this thing would also resist ghost and dark, and then it would be unstoppable....except by EQ and Fire Blast. Oh well, at least it can sit and laugh at fairies like they're nothing. If you're a guy that doesn't like the fairy type among the public, this might just be the fairy killer you were looking for.
