I was going through a new playthough and came across Laura's dialogue to MC and thought of Adrienne's time prison and how Lin could have been caught in the same thing. Another thought occurs that with the introduction of pulse it could have been a pulse accident that resulted in Lin's physical aging. I think this would explain her affinity for Terra since she'd still have the mindset of a child even if she had the body of an adult. There are a number of things that could have happened. Personality splits, two Lins, a glitch in the matrix, who knows. I think a safe bet is that this is probably the same Lin but something happened in her very recent past that resulted in a different appearance. If only we could find some sort of Lin(k) to the past that solidifies what happened to her...

I'm sure we all have guesses and ideas about the leader of Team Meteor. Based on a strange story of how "Lin" interacted with Laura at the orphanage and wasn't eaten by Saphira I have a bit of a theory. We know Adrienne and his time prison so what if the same happened to Lin but she (at least physically) aged while inside. Being a child would explain her willingness to raise M3G4 T3RR4 through the ranks. Is it the same person, could there be two Lins, does it have something to do with Shade's effed up visions. All this and more will be guessed RIGHT NOW!... so guess away

The bullet-proof, badass, boxing, baller, beatdown, big man Chesnaught. Seriously that ability was surprisingly useful. Even though grass/fighting is weak to wayyyy too many things (thanks grass typing) but other than that it actually performed amazingly as a starter. True story, I managed to setup with some help and solo Charlotte with him. Atk and Def IVs maxed so it was all him being a boss.

If you found the focus sash, emolga or pachirisu can paralyze or a sturdy magnemite with thunder wave. This can be beaten without gimmicks. I had a machamp with special defense evs (not as crazy as it sounds) it could have easily tanked three hits. Dynamic punch with no guard and arceus was dead in two hits. There's plenty of ways if you're creative.

Thats not a bad idea. I also bought a bunch of white herbs so when I get heat rotom and spam overheat it can return to normal if I don't want to switch or cant. I might need to get energy ball onto Chandelure if its HP isn't grass. I've run into 3 fire types with HP Fly which is useless since the only thing that fire and flying don't kill in common is fighting which I have no problem with.

Yeah that's probably smart. I just wanted the smogon setup since it looked appealing. While on the subject of my fire team. Anyone know of a fire type that can naturally learn a grass type move since solarbeam will never be a tm.

Discharge is an awesome move its just overheat destroys its decent Spatk so volt switch can pull him back while doing decent damage. But yeah I figured that wasn't going to happen so I'll run a different set.

Hello Rotom lovers, likers or haters. I see having Volt switch is pretty useful on it but since Reborn hates tms I have no idea how to get it onto the awesome oven pokemon naturally. Tips?

I guess there are a number of things that could turn this sad tale terrible. Doesn't look like anyone would be sad to see Fern go for some odd reason.

Holy shit if Fern killed any of the team I'd lose my shiz. Yeah I've been fearing since the beginning losing a poke due to a choice or event. That would be pretty evil.

My hopes aren't even going up for the city. Too many people are good at breaking things in Meteor. The city will look nice for about one... maybe two episodes.

There are some awesome characters in reborn and some that are not so awesome. What event (if it came to pass) would break your heart. I.E Fern becoming president or living any longer. My heart would tear in half if anything happened to Cain. He's the best buddy in any pokemon game ever. Its actually kind of sad you only team up with him once.

Only one I can think to replace is Goth since it doesn't have much of a niche. But as a fighter its bulky and definitely gets the job done with a relatively decent movepool. People say outside of prankster meowstic's usage falls a little. If you don't mind the extra training then using Medicham as a side mon isn't a bad idea. Definitely invest in speed since your team wont have too much fun against strong and fast mons since there's virtually no bulk on your team.

I haven't used either actually. I think I'm going to run with MLP since its movepool just wins and in Reborn movepools are serious issues. Thanks guys.

That's what I was thinking. It's Speed and bulk aren't too hot but Rapidash almost suffers from 4 move syndrome.

I want to add one of these physicals to the team but I'm unsure as to which one would do better. Rapidash has the speed and movepool you can swim in while Flareon has sooooo much power and Special defense is a nice plus since a fire team doesn't offer too much of that. I think also Flareon looks cooler but that's just me. Thoughts?

I would like to do a firetype mono since I lost my comp but one poke that I'd like is out of reach due to number gods. I'd like to have Blaziken and Larvesta leading the charge but going up to Corey's gym 18 times is a bit of a hassel. Can anyone help me with this one?

My first time reaching Seel was with a fighting mono. Lost a couple tries, cheated and added a rock type to throw in stealth rock. I replaced Chesnaught since he wasn't doing anything besides dying in that gym. Stealth rock made talonflame useless and the rest just got beaten down by Machamp who was an MVP (pure fighting type with no advantages in this gym) and the rest was just planning. I don't know why everyone saying its easy since only a few leaders are easy but like with any challenge, you figure out how it works and you win.

Tried looking for pokemon Goodra and no luck. I can't say exactly what would work but if I could I'd be writing for Hollywood haha. The poke formula is tried and true so maybe I'm wanting a lot by asking for something that can break the mold and work better than what's lasted for like two decades. Also without constant mini goals it would be hard to manage leveling but then again a lot of RPGs do it so who knows right? Gym leaders are fun but I think if a ten year old embarks on a journey or in more recent cases young adolescent that there would be a few who just want to travel and find an adventure. Personally speaking I've played sports and even when young I never had any dreams of going pro, not out of fear but because it was something I liked to do. Looking for people better than me was just fun.

Well details aplenty huh? I think maybe a mix of Pokemon and Skyrim where there is some overarching story of an out of control pokemon or maybe keeping an evil team around isn't bad. But why the hunt for badges. I feel like that sounds more fun than it is. If I had a fire breathing dragon or a kick boxing chicken I wouldn't care how it stacked up against anything because I had a fire breathing dragon or kick boxing chicken. Maybe just an open world where you get fly early and go on random missions and team up with the people from the character's home town until BAM plot happens... or thickens.

I've seen across the forums a lot of fang games since I started playing Reborn. Honestly Reborn was my second fan made game that I played. The first was Liquid Crystal which was better than standard poke games but most of the standard games never delivered on difficulty. Then Reborn comes out and bam first time I heard and used a curse word while playing the pokemon games (barring hey you pikachu... because that little d-bag.... back to topic) and it made me think of and see really cool ways to deviate from the standard mold. One thing I always wondered with the silent protagonist is what if he/she/xe declined the idea of battling gyms. I mean realistically there are people who strive to be good at things and don't enter competitions... something called hobbies or whatever. Anyway what I've looking for is that. A game where the protagonist just goes on a journey. Doesn't have to save the world but can if the mob is acting up and a 10 year old is needed. Honest trailer references aside, thoughts?

I don't mind waiting. This game has insane replay value. Seriously even before joining the forum I had beaten the game like two or three times back in E11. I'm on playthrough I dunno now.
