(Can we get back to the scene unfolding in the Caverns now? Please?) Anstane?

Cinder and Sansa Upon seeing the tranquil land on top of the chikorita, Cinder was frozen on the spot out of shock. Poppy had been KOd from out of the blue like it was nothing. He then heard the Talonflame speaking, and his flames started to crackle and pop a bit as he heard what the firebird was saying. "Aye, who the hell taught ya how to fly, lass? Look at what ya did, that poor grass type's gonna be seeing stars and feeling a migraine for a week thanks to you! Ya gotta pay attention up there, there are folks on important business, you fly with your head in the clouds, and you're gonna mess up something big!" After the Talonflame finished speaking, Cinder tried calming down, but the Tranquil only made it worse when she spoke up. “Excuusseee me?! Who the hell taught me how to fly? Are you saying that you are SOO much better? Maybe if you were paying attention then you wouldn’t have hit me! Besides, I knew exactly where I was flying, I suppose I put too much faith in anyone else to not hit me. Can you believe what he’s saying? That this is my fault?” At this, Cinder's flames erupted from his back, and he spoke up, clearly ticked off. "WILL THE TWO OF YOU STOP SQUAWKING AT EACH OTHER AND ACCEPT THAT BOTH OF YOU ARE TO BLAME?!" Now, he spoke to the Talonflame directly. "First off, buster, You should've paid more attention to your surroundings, because it would've been very easy for you to maneuver out of the way when you saw her in your path. But thanks to your inattentiveness, you hit her back to the place that she left from." He then turned to the Tranquil. "Don't think that you aren't at fault either, missy. If you'd paid attention to your surroundings, you could have seen him coming and maneuvered out of his way." His flames were still large and he was still angry, but he'd seemed to have lost a bit of his anger from having vented it with what he'd just said.

The last things the banette saw before being knocked out cold was the anti-magic barrier overloading from the stress of trying to suppress the sheer magical power of the figure, which had exploded the sigil of its own volition, leading to the amount of smoke that was lasting for this long, and that the floor was several feet below it. It tried to Teleport away, but the figure snapped its fingers, causing it to be unable to perform any Attacks, including Teleportation. the last thing it heard before getting slammed into the ground was the figure's voice. "Thanks for the Nullification Spell." Its head then harshly collided with the floor, and it lost consciousness. The figure then waited in the room, ready for when the Umbreon would return, keeping its anti-attack and anti-rune field up in the entirety of the room. The smoke, in the meantime, was slowly clearing. it wouldn't clear before the Umbreon got back, but it would clear soon after the dark-type got back. Anstane?

(The Dewott might have been defeated, but you haven't defeated me. There's a reason I changed my Avatar, and if it was that easy to beat me, then i'd have just left my Avatar the way it was.) Just as the Umbreon is about to leave the room that contains the prisoners, a cloaked figure can be seen walking into the same chamber, and it snaps its fingers, teleporting the Dewott and the Glaceon out of the caverns entirely, in spite of the anti-magic field. It then speaks to the umbreon. "Hmm. So this is where your master works... That's good to know." It then raises what is revealed to be a webbed, black-clawed, brown-furred mammalian paw, and the two Shadow Pokémon other than the Umbreon are lifted up into the air. Then, the figure makes a downwards motion with the same paw, and the pokémon that were lifted are all slammed into the floor of the chamber, Fainting them. (Anstane?)

tisk tisk... You think a simple antimagic field can stop me? Don't make me laugh. *my eyes turn a flat purple as I speak next* I've got some extra tricks up my sleeve that you couldn't fathom. *I swig the contents of a vial that I brought with me on my belt, and grow to massive size, simultaneously changing from a Dewott into a Giant Otter, my eyes returning to normal in the process. When I stop growing, my footpaw alone is the size of the umbreon.* Let's see how long you can last before you fall! AURA BOMB! *lobs a massive blue sphere that homes in on the Heliolisk. Those within a 4-meter radius of the unlucky lizard when the attack hits will be caught in the blast.* (Anstane, what happens next? It's actually kinda fun to play as a sizeshifting alchemist/mage...)

(I just used an incantation that waits a few days, then purifies those that it has affected, clearing them of any and all taint or corruption.) *Chuckles to self* You haven't seen what it does yet. Besides, do you think I'd follow a Corrupted Pokémon without being prepared? Think again! *closes eyes once again, and runes start appearing around me once again as I speak.* ! *the Shock Wave appears to hit me, only for the one that attacked me to receive the damage instead. Once the attack ends, the runes fade, and are replaced by new ones when I speak once more.* ! *a transparent blue spherical barrier now appears around me.* (I just used an incantation that causes the next attack, incantation, or spell to hit the attacker instead of their intended target, and then another one which protects me from any and all corruptive forces. Your response to my actions, Anstane?)

*gets up and chuckles to self* Heh... *teleports to the location of the Umbreon and Glaceon* "I thought you might try something like that... So I learned how to track Teleportation Trails." *I close my eyes, and say the following, glowing runes appearing in the air around me as I speak* ! *a spherical shell of yellow light now pulses outwards from me, enveloping both the Umbreon and the Glaceon, then fading at the same time as the runes, and I open my eyes. However, nothing will happen as a result of the incantation until a few days from now.* (Anstane?)

Let's just say that this glaceon got in over their head and was hit by some weird pulse. It wasn't exactly a dark pulse because it wasn't the right color to be that move, but that's the closest thing I've got to what hit 'em. *drops the glaceon in front of BMIC* You got anything that could help 'em?

*sees the battle going on, and walks over, grabbing the Fainted Glaceon before speaking* Know this, Umbreon. I've got my eye on you, and you will fall once I get my paws on you in a few days. And tell your Master that I'm coming for him next. *walks away, taking the Glaceon with me* Anstane?

Not before I do. Viri, maybe if you made it so that the antlers weren't ambiguous, people wouldn't confuse it for something it isn't.

I'm glad we finally got over the stage where you were trumpeting your praises of the fangame, Viri.

*sighs out of exasperation* Why did this have to happen...? *Uses a Revive Seed on BMIC* That should fix the problem, I think. Did it work, BMIC, or did I just waste an item?

*uses Wide Guard, and then uses Follow Me* That should keep you two safe, but I'll need someone to keep me safe. BMIC?

Presumably, there will be some Gen 7 'mons in Episode 17, since they were not revealed at the time that that part of Episode 16 was being coded.

After the bit at the battlefield, the adrenaline had faded from Jev's system enough for him to calm down. Seeing as the others were introducing themselves, he decided to follow suit. However, he was unable to speak before the poshly-speaking girl and a few others did. "Might as well let you know what I'm called. My name's Jev'ona Lekoniska, but you can call me Jev for short. I'm from the forests of Eastern Medulla."
