  1. Sun? Maybe I dislike it a little bit. Rain? Heck no. It's one of my favorite weathers! Anstane?
  2. While the Otter was shielded somewhat from the blast of purifying energy caused by the failure of the ritual due to being in a separate chamber, he was still within the blast radius, and went into a state of mental shock, having realized exactly what he'd become from staying in too close of a proximity to the now-banished Master. This allowed the Dewott to completely repel the Otter's presence from his mind, the purple tinge on his body having faded when the massive Purification blast hit. However, the expulsion took the last of his energy, and he ended up falling onto the floor, exhausted by how much of a fight he'd had to put up. The last thing he did before collapsing was to weakly respond to the Glaceon's inquiry. "I'll be... fine... I'm just... exhausted..." As he finished speaking, he went limp, the only motion from him being his faint breathing. ((And it is done. I see BMIC down in the "Reading this Topic" section, so I guess you.))
  3. ((Sorry, Noobly, but Ame doesn't frequent this thread anymore.)) ((Anstane, you're up.))
  4. (Anstane, You did see how I mentioned a Feedback Loop, right? Now, my question for you is as follows: How did the Umbreon's Master avoid falling into a trance?) The otter smiled to himself, and then spoke. "So that's how we're going to play, is it?" He then cast an Awakening Spell on the Dewott, snapping it out of the trance it was in. This was immediately followed by a Corruption Spell, which turned the Dewott into a Shadow Pokémon that was under the unbreakable and unshakeable control of the Otter. The last words of the Dewott before it became a Shadow Pokémon were as follows. "I don't want to go... Please don't... agh..." the dewott then fell still on the floor of the chamber, unconscious. A purple tinge quickly crept over the comatose pokémon, replacing the blue coloration.
  5. (Who tipped whose hand into whose? That explosion was just what I was waiting for.) The Otter knew that the umbreon's master would try something to set them back to their previous state, and had prepared by setting up a Energy Capturing System whilst the Image's pre-recorded message played. Instead of diminishing, the power signature skyrocketed from the captured energy provided by the feedback loop, and the Otter now had enough power to do what it actually wanted to do, and it cast a few spells as a stage one of its plans. Two pairs of stone jaws came up from the ground, snapping shut around both the Dewott and the Glaceon before sinking into the ground with them still inside and moving off to some place near the location of the Otter. If anyone tried to Teleport the Glaceon or Dewott back into the Ritual Chamber, they would find themselves foiled by a newly-cast and powerful Dimensional Anchor. A similar Anchor was now also on the Shadow Pokémon that had been used to bring the ritual equipment in. (Anstane, you there?)
  6. For the past two days while the Umbreon and its master were preparing for the ritual, the Otter had been constantly absorbing power and storing it within its aura in preparation for when the time came to perform a ritual of a caliber that the universe had not seen before, as it had been standing on top of a Ritual Circle on the floor of the pod-like chamber. Upon detecting that the Trance had been broken for the Glaceon, the otter smiled, and then spoke the Keyword for his own ritual, granting himself control over the very fabric of the universe, able to bend reality itself to his whim. He then spoke, a face forming on the interior of the chamber from the very stone of the wall itself, and the Umbreon's Master could tell that the signature of the Otter had significantly changed if it decided to try to sense the Otter's presence. "You've made a grave error in judgement." Anstane, what happens next?
  7. Anstane, I never fancied you to be a Rogue of such caliber. Mind telling me who your teacher was?
  8. I usually operate on American Times, but I'm temporarily on European Times while I am in Cyprus with my mom.
  9. You also forgot to mention that Thanksgiving is about a month away, Blue. People always forget about Turkey Day... I wonder why?
  10. Once I get my drawing skills up to scratch, I'll change my avatar from Pixel Art form to Digital Drawing form. how was that for a pun, Lugruf?
  11. It is only temporary until Halloween goes by. This was just a test-run of my drawing skills. You satisfied with that answer, Viri?
  12. (You never objected like that the last time Anstane and I RP'd, Caribou! Mind explaining yourself?)
  13. (heh heh heh... You'll see what I'm going for soon enough.) The signature that the Master detected went right through the field, but was unaffected by the trance-inducing spell. The reason for this soon became clear, as as a cylindrical piece of hematite that was roughly the same size as the Otter soon clunked onto the floor. A second presence could be felt nearby, but it wasn't approaching or receding. It merely waited in a single spot, not moving. (This battle will not occur until All Hallows Eve, Anstane. The things that occur until then are just filler.)
  14. The Otter shook its head, clearly amused. tis voice, then echoed in the chamber of the Umbreon and its master. "Did you really think that you have the upper hand here?" The Otter then shifted the stone of the floor up and around itself, cocooning itself in a stony shell that then sank into the floor with the otter still inside. A few seconds later, a pentagram of the floor of the chamber that housed the Umbreon and its master recessed itself downwards a very small distance, perhaps an inch or so. (Yes, there is no need to rush this, Anstane.)
  15. (I knew it wouldn't be that easy, but did you really think it would be that easy to stop me from preventing your ritual?) The cloaked figure's robe had blown away in the fall, revealing him to be an otter. There was a smirk on his muzzle, and he spoke. "It's not going to be that easy, shade. And I'm growing tired of your childs' play. I was holding back this entire time to give you a fighting chance." The figure then cast a very powerful Dimensional Anchor of its own on the Umbreon and its master, preventing them from Teleporting in any fashion. Make no mistake, there will be no salvation from this situation. Then, the figure spoke once more. "I'm giving you two options. Option 1 is to let the Dewott and the Glaceon go free, and leaving them alone for the rest of your existence. Option 2 is for you, your subordinate, and the ones that you are trying to convert all to meet your end at my paws or end up as my slaves, depending on how I feel." (and yes, I really can be just that evil. Nobody ever said that opposing a Dark Lord meant that you were one of the good guys, after all...) (Anstane, which of the Ultimatum's options will be chosen?)
  16. The cloaked figure waited a second or so, then snapped its fingers again, and a number of bright orbs appeared, all of them emanating a very powerful purifying and soothing aura, nullifying the effects of the Dark Orbs that had come up for all of those present in the chamber, and even reversing the effects for the Dewott and the Cloaked Figure. These orbs each had a secondary spell on them that prevented them from being damaged through Magical means Much like their dark counterparts, they too had a secret link between them, one that not even the most sensitive of detection Magics could anticipate: If one of the Bright Orbs were to be destroyed, it would trigger a chain reaction, causing the other orbs to create an explosion strong enough to destroy even the strongest and most heavily reinforced materials. The figure then shook its head and shrugged its shoulders. "Feh... You really have no clue about how to use your magic properly. I learned that exact same spell, and I know of its nuances." The figure then sent a spell of its own towards the chamber that the Umbreon's master was residing in. This spell was one that affected any Magics that were used before, preventing them from being used twice by the same individual. "Now, let's see how creative you can be in your Casting." ((Anstane?))
  17. ((Let me apply Murphy's Law to that strategy...)) As the Dimensional Lock went up, the cloaked figure sensed the power signature, and sat down, starting to meditate, focusing on the stone of one of the walls. Suddenly, the stone started to shift, liquefying and flowing onto the floor, forming a small alcove that was not covered by the Dimensional Lock. Now that that had been done, the figure continued to meditate, warping the Glaceon and the Dewott into said alcove, then dragging them into the chamber that it was in. With that done, the next thing that happened was that the figure looked around for a few seconds, then snapped its fingers, applying a Dimensional Lock of its' own to the entire chamber, alcove included. Only the cloaked figure and those it approved permission for could enter or exit the newly-locked area, but this new lock didn't override the old one; the two were in effect simultaneously. In other words, nothing at all could enter or exit the Cavern now. ((And no, you can't just override the new Dimensional Lock, much like how I can't override the old Dimensional Lock. The Cloaked Figure is on par with the Umbreon's Master in terms of power and skill.)) Jazz?
  18. Of course you wouldn't know... It's my Fursona. Anstane, you gonna post a Story Update or what?
