Raiza threw him a funny look, then shook her head. "Ah, never mind it, it was just a reference to a game that I play, pon." Might as well be polite. "I don't believe we've met before? My name is Raiza. I go with that or Kestrel, pon. The Litwick over here is Lucifer-- he takes very well to people, he's quite friendly-- and this here Sneasel's name is Rogue." The Sneasel in question merely glanced at them without raising her head, then rushed over in a blur to inspect them up close, taking to climbing onto them (carefully, without prodding them with her sharpened claws), popping up in front of the Ralts, then finally settling back down and eating as though nothing happened. Lucifer on the other hand hovered around both boys, liking them immediately; it was, to him, as though their life forces melded together, making it seemingly infinite. Or at least bountiful for the Litwick to feed off of. And their souls tasted very very sweet. -

Raiza nearly jumped when this dude with a Ralts and another dude came to her table and addressed... Her? After a few seconds, she said, in her deadpan voice, "... Uh, It is at Earthend, and we yearn to see It, pon." In no time, the Litwick had taken to inspecting these new characters. This one... These two, rather... It seemed as though their souls were connected in a strange way. Ah, whatever. Lucifer's little flame began to grow, little by little... -

Finding a seat, Raiza and Rogue began munching on their food, while Lucifer barely touched his, which was okay since Raiza'd only gotten him a few bites, knowing how weak an eater the Litwick was. Instead, he looked around, staring at passersby intently as if he were about to gobble them up. -
Promptly, completely fatigued by the battle, Enya swayed on the spot, her nearly completely brown eyes flickering back to their normal blue hue. THUD! As the child fell unconscious and lay crumpled on the spot, the portal closed over the roaring seas quickly. It didn't seem like Enya would be waking up any time soon.

Yup... I definitely want a tablet and pen set of my own now XD but that stuff is super expensive. Sheep, you have one? -
Deciding to lead the sorcerer lead the group instead of herself, Helze hung back somewhere in the middle of the line of travelers, so as to be close to the back as well as front, in case trouble came up. It was standard procedure to immediately have your bow and arrow at the ready in the Shattered Hills, whether you were home or not-- even a pleasant stroll could unexpectedly become a fight for survival.

Hi. Where's my rose, Rose? -
Ice? Ice skating? Great. To add to the list of things she wasn't good at... Having glanced at Gale, she looked away in irritation. "I... uh, I'll be there," she muttered, and tentatively put a step on the ice, hopi-- OH SHIT-- Luckily Chaos was around, and she at least had a bit of telekinetic ability to help balance her Trainer. That and she had climbed onto the big fire mutt, so as not to get her paws cold. "Yeah, the cold from up here is already good." Cerberus rolled his eyes and made sure to tail Zephyr for the Umbreon to be able to guide her. Already the second time today she'd embarrassed herself. Arceus damn it. After thanking the little cat-dog-fox-bunny of darkness, Zephyr shot Gale a look that pretty much meant "Don't ever bring this up, or I'll rip you a new one" and said, "I'm good, I'm good. Let's catch up to the rest."

"Ah. So it is, pon." Rogue was already close to the head of the line, and beginning to look unsure as to what to do. "My dear Lucifer seems to appreciate everyone he meets, so I'm sure that that won't be a problem. " This guy doesn't seem so bad... The stupid rumors are stupid, and moreso the people. Geez, such a drag. "All right then, say bye now, Lucifer, pon. What are you so stressed about? Anyway, take care, all right, Henry, was it, pon?" When the conversation was all over and done, she turned to take her place in line and order food for herself and her Pokemon. -
Ah, all right then. I hope it makes sense if a guy from Orre does happen to come to Ymora for a breeding job done, and also happens to know about Cipher. Anyway, g'night folks. 2:14 AM here now.

Lol, Shun... that's why I don't like watching those kinds of things. Also I commend your ability to create your own soap opera; Ash is still as naive as ever, lol. Aura - (n.) a supposed emanation surrounding the body of a living creature, viewed by mystics, spiritualists, and some practitioners of complementary medicine as the essence of the individual, and allegedly discernible by people with special sensibilities. Soul - (n.) the spiritual or immaterial part of a human being or animal, regarded as immortal; emotional or intellectual energy or intensity, especially as revealed in a work of art or an artistic performance. Source: Google's dictionary I think they're linked. Let's take a lightbulb as an example. Soul would be what powers the lightbulb, that is, electricity; the light that you would see is the aura. I assume that similar to if the flow of electricity was reduced, thus dimming the light, having less life force could possibly manifest in aura. Btw I think, since Lucifer's just a little Litwick, he can only absorb so much for his body to hold. I think that his victims would just feel tired, maybe a little fatigued if he really likes the taste of this person's soul lol. gg chandelure then Also, Commander, let me know if there's an inconsistency with Raiza's dialogue about that guy from Orre; I haven't played Gale of Darkness yet, and I'm just basing my knowledge off of TvTropes entries. XD

"Eh--" Raiza turned and, sure enough, there was Lucifer right over her shoulder. "Lucifer, I told you to hold our spot in line, pon! Oh, whatever... at least Rogue's got it covered," she sighed. "Yes, Lucifer is quite curious... He's always like that when there are new people around. Unlike me, he seems to enjoy crowds... I'm not too sure why. Pardon me for that outburst, it's just that the lines today are taking a while, pon." While Henry talked to Raiza about some place called Orre, Lucifer looked at him hungrily, little yellow eyes seemingly boring into his soul. He had been filled up full with the vitality of other students back in the line, but surely one more little bite wouldn't be too much to ask for. Reaching towards the boy with his own energy, he prepared to sample this savory-looking soul... any time now... wow, where the heck was it? The Litwick looked at Henry, confused and dismayed. It was either he couldn't tap into this guy's life force, or he didn't... have a soul. Which should be impossible, as everyone should have a soul... How strange this one was. Still wanting to try, however, the Litwick persevered in his search for dessert. "Ah, now I remember," Raiza said, evidently oblivious to her Litwick's antics. "I think that my parents had a client over once, a man from an arid, desert-like region, pon. Making small talk with my parents over the counter, he didn't have much nice things to say about where he came from, though he went on and on about these tournaments, like what you just mentioned... And some kind of strange phenomenon that involved Pokemon being vicious under the control of some crooks, pon." -
The sight of the big, bad dog trying to stop her made the little girl all the more angry. They dare try to stop her?! To stop Ace?! With a cry of exertion and rage-- a cry that sounded like two animals, one half-howling, half-roaring, the other hissing vehemently-- she pushed the surges of energy she had into widening and opening the portal. A salty smell, like that of the sea, as well as the sound of roaring waves filled the room; the static tear was getting closer and closer to reaching the big paws of the three-headed hellhound.
