Pokémon Academy: Ch 2a: Dragons [IC]
Zephyrus the Priestess replied to Chim's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
"... He's going to be okay. Just tired. I think he was pushing himself," she said. The Trainer stroked her Litwick's face gently, his eyes closed, the flame on his head barely lit. "... Thanks, I guess. But I think I'll wake him up later... he might try to retaliate when he wakes up. Lucifer's usually pretty proud." Pocketing the Sitrus Berry, Raiza turned to walk off the field; she had no plans to continue the battle and to exhaust Toothless too. "... Good game." -

... What. Okay. So this makes the second time I misread something, but I thought Skull was charging it up like the multiple-angle Ominous Storm thing earlier.

"Steam... Caster?" repeated the ranger. "What exactly are they? I've not read about them in any of the books I've come across," she said to Marcus as they began to move, the trio being complete.

How tiresome the battle was getting... but if he relented, he'd let himself down. He'd let Raiza down. Maybe even the Sneasel in the team, for letting their training go to waste. Why, let the winds and the sneak attack he was fairly certain about come; a sphere of Night Shade engulfed him to take the brunt of the winds and steeled himself as the usually offensive attack used as a barrier dissipate. And the rest of the Ominous Wind hit him. The Litwick fell. He heard nothing, not even Raiza's scream as she rushed onto the field to catch him. -
Or maybe I'll just forfeit or something if this goes on for too long. Tbh I'm kinda getting bored with the battle... and we're holding things up and Raiza hates seeing her little babies getting hurt.

Yes, I know, I was saying it for Tacos since his last post refers to Reina as a male with the pronouns.

And so the gloves come off. How much longer is this going to last? "Lucifer, if you don't feel like it anymore, feel free to stop. But I know you, you're going to go down fighting, aren't you sweetie?" Sparks flew as the Litwick looked at his Trainer with a determined expression on his face. The pride was strong in this one. "All right. I believe in you, Lucifer! Show them--" she punched her fist into her palm-- "what you got!" It was probably one of the rare times that the Trainer displayed such strong emotion with people watching... But Lucifer needed moral support, and he was definitely getting moral support. With the Haze rolling in, Lucifer returned to his normal shape, yellow eyes burning. In truth he was near close to giving... but he wasn't about to let his opponent know that. -
Technically I did take a hit... The Ominous Wind "storm" probably should've knocked out Lucifer actually... though I guess I should've typed it in /facepalm

Pokémon Academy: Ch 2a: Dragons [IC]
Zephyrus the Priestess replied to Chim's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
"... I'm absolutely sure that there's a reason for the saying 'to bite off more than you can chew', but... If you insist, pon," she shrugged. Amazed that Lucifer withstood the Ominous Wind storm, somehow, although if he took more attacks, he would be done for. Especially with a move like Feint Attack. Gosh, she should really train Lucifer to use a set of moves with wider coverage. Bewildered and dazed himself, the Ghost-Fire type swayed a bit on the spot... what a fun time this was. And now the Duskull had the gall to try sneaking up on him to finish the job. With a Dark type move, of all things, after bombarding him with that utterly revolting gust. The candle on his head grew in size and intensity-- Raiza didn't have to tell him what to do to help himself here. He could hear the Trainer loud and clear as well and understand what he was planning. Just as the Duskull was about to strike, the flame exploded, right with the target within range of the explosion. That is, at least Lucifer thought-- and hoped-- so. -

Ooh, a Drayano fan? I've only played Fire Red Omega so far, since I haven't a DS emulator that doesn't lag just yet. Welcome to Reborn! Feel free to ask around if you're ever feeling lost. Come over and say hi on the Reborn Showdown Server if you ever feel like it, maybe enjoy a battle or two. PROTIP: The search bar is above your Member Info, and the status update bar is below it -

The hell...? Raiza thought. What, isn't that Duskull getting any tired? Moreover, I thought he was confused? Is the RNG broken or something? All for wanting to try and beat Lucifer... A corner of her lip twitched in irritation, but unless they were watching her intently instead of the battle, nobody would've noticed. "You know, you're really gonna burn out Skull if you keep pushing him like that, pon... But I guess that's not really my call," she said. "Sweetie, let's see if you can figure this out for yourself." Because in all honesty, I can't think of a way out of this beef. The wind's just going to blow out any of his attacks. It seemed as though he was out of tricks, as well; in a last ditch attempt to save himself, his body melted, his way of bracing for impact-- and the disgusting winds hit their mark. Luckily nobody was near enough to hear Raiza gulp down a squeak, stuffing it back down, as she watched her poor baby get buffeted by the onslaught of repulsive winds. -

senpai never gave me a welcome song qq also welcome to Reb-- wait what -
orz I'm just not too sure how far is too far or if I'm downplaying Lucifer... but I did ask at first if what I was doing seemed like powerplaying, and nobody responded so... EDIT: Acid Armor's supposed to raise Defense, so I think that Ominous Wind would've still hit hard since it's a Special Attack move lol

Reborn Holiday Party 2014

I got nominated? Holy snap I feel so flattered. c: -
"You're a real toughie, a real fighter, y'know that, Nemesis?" Helze said to compliment the tough ol' bird. The respect and awe she had for the Stilfe shot up after the sight of her ending the battle by snatching the culprit-- a Victonari, of all things-- and exposing him. But what was that? All the lights, the explosions... "Just what was that thing...?" the befuddled ranger muttered, appalled yet mystified by this entirely new information.

Pokémon Academy: Ch 2a: Dragons [IC]
Zephyrus the Priestess replied to Chim's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
"They're clones, right, Lucifer? That means only one of those attacks are real!" That's right. You can do this, you can figure it out, Lucifer! Raiza cheered on silently. The Litwick perked up as if having a Eureka moment. On top of his head, the flame grew and burst, the flames and debris hurtling towards the Ominous Wind attacks; only the real one would blow out the flame and the rest would fade-- and there! Right there, that was the real Ominous Wind! A sphere of inky darkness covered Lucifer just as the horrible gust passed over him, dissipating both wind and shadow as the Ghost-type attacks cancelled each other out. But the incoming Night Shade-- quickly he prepared his energies, ready to conjure another sphere of Night Shade. -
Two bags of putty.. 'Kuna breasts aren't really that pliable but XD What's going to happen next, I wonder? Also I love the music you used to accompany the dream scenes.. so fitting, especially the first one. You can really visualize the desperation in that scene.

Yeah sure, Chandelure can create black holes too, according to the anime, kiddo. Actually iirc Litwick can already make black holes... which means they're hell to face in their first stage already. Eh, anyway, has Shade sent out Night Shade yet, immediately after Ominous Wind?
