Heya, welcome in. I'm basically here to answer any questions you might have, remind you of the rules if you break them, and help to keep this place organised. So while I'm still in official mode I'll let you know there's an FAQ with many handy answers geared towards integrating new people to the site found in the Grand Hall, and you'll find the community rules on your left. These two things are always worth a read, and if you have any questions afterwards don't hesitate to ask. This makes me sound all business, but I'm not. At least I don't think I am... Oh well.

Hmm... if the roleplaying threads are full then I'm not sure. If you're a gamer then there's gaming threads, if you're into competitive then there's competitive pokemon threads, you can always drop by trainers journal, but most of the activity around here would probably require the kind of knowledge you get after beating the game.

If it's not much trouble then I'd probably go with randomized over cyclical. I don't really see any in game benefits to having it cyclical, just so long as randomized isn't like it was before.

Welcome Hah, maybe from me but there's a big LoL culture here and you'll find plenty that play it well. As far as Shade is concerned there are a few good dark types that will help out tremendously against him, I'd recommend making a post in the gym leader help thread with your team in it if you really want some help. Sigh... damnit Jerry.

Heya. I can't second that enough, the people over at public dev are always looking for more good spriters. Only do it if you want to though, don't feel pressured to. Past that I just hope to see you around and active.

The next one is under the grand staircase. Also that's just the way the ability capsules have been scripted, for pokemon with 3 abilities it will cycle between them in a predetermined order.

For you the closest one I know about is a hidden item in the cave near the power plant. You'll need rock smash to get it though. Edit: Wait scratch that, there's one under the grand staircase.

I'm gonna recommend an episodic approach, it's worked pretty well for reborn right? I'm going off the fact that you've said it's going to be somewhat similar to Fire Emblem, a game series I'm very familiar with and one that I know for a fact will work fine using an episodic set up. The advantages to episodic releases are potentially huge, you capitalize on the popularity of reborn by giving the players something new without a long wait causing some to lose interest and leave, you showcase what your game is about and get players invested in the characters, allowing for a larger number of people to find it and potentially support its development financially. Stuff like that. As for the second question? I'm a huge fan of the diversity and amount of choice given to the players in Bioware developed games like Mass Effect or Dragon Age, but Fire Emblem has done just fine with a lesser degree of choice. With a game like this (even though I don't really know what this is) I think more choice is always better but only so long as it doesn't affect the quality of the writing.

Also, come talk with us on the Pokemon Reborn Showdown Server, you can learn the competitive game or just talk with your fellow reborn citizens there if battling isn't really your thing. There's a link to the top left above Member Info. Yes I just stole and slightly edited that from Jerry's posts but cut me some slack, I'm a lazy guy and it's a great format.

Sadly they aren’t Rosesong’s, but if you were cheerful to everyone you met and readily participated they could look something like Rosesong’s. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re on the server with Rose making loads of friends. Look over there, back at me. I see it, it’s an RP that Rose’s participating in, look again the RP is now an OU tourney. Anything is possible when you’re as outgoing and friendly as Rosesong. She’s musically talented.
