  1. Meta!Chronos Chronos was going to reply to Atton and Argent, but the two far too quickly became distracted with each other for it to give them a proper response. If they had wanted answers they should have been willing to wait five seconds for Chronos to give them. Since it couldn't respond to them, it dedicated its time to Hiroki. "I'm not entirely sure what to call them. They're such strange little beings." It said, "No matter what countermeasures I employ, they still take a very long time to clear out. And they come in rather large groups. According to Meta Knight, that's the being that currently houses me, they're rather easy for him to deal with, so I assume it must be that my abilities are somehow weakened against them." Chronos noticed Atton's rather obvious cocking of his gun. It whipped Meta Knight's cape around and suddenly disappeared, reappearing almost instantly next to Atton wielding a golden sword. It flourished with the sword and suddenly Atton's gun was residing in Meta Knight's hand. "You will not threaten your allies in any fashion, am I clear?" It said forcibly, "The next time someone threatens or harms an ally, I will immediately mark them as a threat and apply the full of my power to remove the threat to the Plane's well-being."
  2. TTG Discord Before we begin, a short explanation of the travel system: You start at 0 and are trying to reach 7. Each location will give you a choice between solving a puzzle and braving the Wilds. Braving the wilds will cause an encounter and has a 25% chance of sending you back 1, 25% change of sending you forward 1, and a 50% chance of sending you laterally. Solving the puzzle will let you choose whether or not to have an encounter and take you forward 1. Failing the puzzle will send you back 1 through the wilds, but will not cause an encounter. Entering the Wilds, either intentionally or by puzzle failure, causes all previous locations to become inaccessible. When the choice to check out the puzzle or brave the wilds is presented, you will each be allowed one post presenting the choice your character wishes to take Leaving a location without the group will result in your character becoming permanently lost to an endless, fiery void For now you begin at -1, which is just the meeting place. Feel free to have some social interactions. If you want information on what you're doing IC, you're gonna have to pry, Chronos has a habit of assuming everyone relevant to it already knows why they're relevant ~~~ The members of Chronos's selected group found themselves suddenly in a place totally unlike where they had just been. The group stood in the ruins of what appeared to have been a small building made of stone. The walls had crumbled and the floor had specks of grey and black ash scattered about it. Conveniently, the standing one blocked out the sun, which was extremely low and bright. The whole area seemed to have an ambient orange glow. The area outside looked like it belonged in a dramatized depiction of hell or a volcano. More grey and black ash coated everything, low jets of fire shot up periodically from different areas. There even seemed to be a couple pools of molten rock. Hiroki and Tesla would likely recognize that it was the Plane of Wrath, there wasn't exactly anywhere else in Tempest that matched this description. Not far from the group stood a small rotund creature with a mask and cape. Yellow eyes stared blankly at them from the gap in its visor, their chilling gaze making the otherwise laughable creature seem rather intimidating. "Greetings, warriors." The being said in a deep voice, "I am Chronos, forgive my odd appearance, this was the only available body capable of housing my being. We'll be embarking shortly to find the Access Dispel, but take a moment to acclimate yourself to the surroundings, you'll be dealing with this place for a while yet."
  3. Chronos (In Hiroki's head) A strange crackling sound resounded in Hiroki's ears. In a way it felt like it was coming from inside her own head. "Hiroki." A deep voice cut clearly through the static, "This is Chronos, the Planes are in danger. Whatever is happening out there, it's started a leak here. Tempest was created to be able to interface with other universes, but there seems to be a hole in the membrane that allows this. The being leaking through are very resistant to Favor for some reason, making it impossible for me to clear them out on my own. I tried contacting Watcher and Merlin, but neither of them is responding, so I'm going to pull some of the warriors the multiverse has brought together and bring them to Tempest. There's an ancient device in the Plane of Wrath that can dispel that which can dispel creatures back to their place of origin, I'm going to have you help me get it. Please warn the following that I'm summoning them: Argent, Dimitri, Atton, Eon, Prei, Snow, Victoria, Leon, and Tesla." The static stopped suddenly and it seemed that Chronos was gone. It didn't even give Hiroki a chance to decide whether she was okay with being its errand girl, let alone if any of the warriors it was calling actually wanted to come along and clean up its trash.
  4. I've finally found the perfect jungler for me
  5. The wasp was smashed aside by Petra's attack, but was otherwise left intact. It darted back over to intercept her again, but was too slow to make an attack before she reacted.
  6. There was a modest meal on the kitchen table. It seemed perfectly normal, although hamburgers and rice seemed like an odd combination. "Come, sit." Nyahiro beckoned from her seat at the table, "I made lots of food for you." Nyahiro avoided mentioning that she had attempted to leave while Bridgett was in the shower and the door hadn't worked. It seemed like there was something happening outside that was preventing the dial's meta field from connecting to reality. In other words, they were stuck. Nyahiro didn't really mind being trapped with Bridgett, but she didn't exactly want Bridgett trapped without access to supplies. That sounded like setup for a tragedy, not a lovey-dovey romance.
  7. The wasp reacted instantly to Petra attacking the nest, confirming that at the very least it was important. Unfortunately, the War Girl was too fast for it and her attack shot past it to strike the next. The nest exploded into shards of bone and Red. A door opened up in the wall opposite the nest, revealing a small platform on the edge of a huge, open room. The wasp moved back to intercept her path to the room. The Black was about 3/4ths through her starting room, she had plenty of time to deal with the wasp and make it to the exit.
  8. The Wasp seemed put off by Petra's pressuring, and withheld itself from attacking. Petra found herself at an impasse, however, as the only way out of the deathtrap of a room seemed to be back where she came from. But the room she had entered into this White world from was now heavily tainted with Black. A death trap forward and uncertain threat behind, she seemed to have no options.
  9. The War Girl The Wasp was unperturbed by Petra's advance, but it really should have been. As soon as it came close, the katana crashed into it's spine, causing Red to spatter everywhere. Split in half, the Wasp's carcass crumpled from the air, forming a pool of Red on the ground. The ceiling made a strange grinding noise and lowered just slightly. Out of the grey twig thing crawled another Bone Wasp, which again rose into the air and charged at her just like the first. ~~~ The Unnoticed Girl The Wraith passed through Latens again, and was too slow to react to being pushed. This time she successfully got it to touch the Black. The strange entity lashed out at the Wraith, quickly covering it completely in Blackness. The Wraith screeched repeatedly, as though it were in agony. It almost looked like the black was eating the Wraith. But the Wraith didn't fall, it remained afloat, now covered in Black. The Blackened Wraith screeched an unholy, agonizing screech and launched forward towards Latens. It lashed out mindlessly at the air in front of it, any sense of predictable behavior was gone. Black claws extended from the tips of its fingers and cut through the air, it clearly had no intention of just pushing Laten's this time.
  10. Nyahiro Nyahiro didn't move for a while, she was sort of hoping Bridgett would get out and help her up and then they could have a sexy embrace. But Bridgett was clearly too shy for that, so she eventually gave up. "I'm fine!" She said, springing directly from face-flat to standing, "It seems bathing with Bridgett-chan is not meant to be, we shall be together later. Anyways, the food is ready to be eaten when you're finished with your bath. Don't take too long or I'll get cold." Nyahiro skulked out of the room, closing the door behind her. She dressed herself and waited in the kitchen for Bridgett.
  11. This is most definitely a thing Would have been a better thing if Zyra hadn't been bitching about Ahri all game
  12. Unfortunately for the War Girl, the Bone wasp proved too fast for her. Before she could even finish ducking down beneath it, it was already following her movements. It jabbed its stinger into the center of her chest, piercing through her sternum and out the back of her spine. It pulled back off of her, its stinger covered in White. More White streamed down from the front and back of where the War Girl had been punctured, but there were no actual wounds.
  13. The War Girl found herself in a long room with a very low ceiling. A ceiling which was covered in silver-colored spikes. The only other feature was a mess of what looked like grey twigs in the far right corner. A bony, hollow insectoid crawled out. It rose into the air, revealing a shape vaguely like that of a wasp. Its wings buzzed as it flew quickly towards the War Girl, aiming at her with a nasty looking stinger.
  14. Nyahiro As soon as Bridgett replied, the door flew open and a towel-clad Nyahiro barged into the room. "Bridgett-san!" She said, "I have come to bathe with you!" She ran over to the tub, her towel falling free as she went. But before she got there, she slipped and fell on her face. "Adigo!" She yelped. She lay there, sprawled out naked on the floor with her limbs and hair going every which way.
  15. (OOC: To teh other people's: Nyahiro and Bridget are still in the Dial, if we finish up this interaction within a reasonable time frame we'll come out and hang with the people in this thread. We're in this thread because it was the emptiest and thus we were the least likely to be interrupting) Nyahiro lit up like a Christmas tree upon hearing Bridgett's voice. "Hello, Bridgett-san. I love you. Let's make babies." She said cheerfully. She was so excited to finally get to talk to Bridgett she barely even knew where to begin. She actually did realize how this looked to Bridgett, but she simply couldn't find anything else to say. "Oh, wait, I know. first I should make you dinner, yes." she said. She stood and rushed out of the room. "The bath is ready, please feel free to get started!" She called back. In the kitchen, Nyahiro buried her face in her hands. "Oh no," She moaned, "I should have just greeted her and given her the bento." She stared down dejectedly at the forgotten lunch. She'd been so excited but also so unprepared to actually meet Bridgett, she had no idea how hard being close to her would be. It was like Nyahiro's heart was exploding out of her ears with every beat. She hadn't even introduced herself properly. But it was too late, the best thing to do now was cook a yummy dinner for Bridgett. After finishing the preparations for dinner, Nyahiro knocked softly on the door of the bathroom. "Bridgett-san, is the water okay?" She asked happily.
  16. (OOC: For the record, you can't actually take someone out directly with any attack. You have to disable their mech, cause them to forfeit, or make them pass out. And the simpler the mech is (I.E. hammer) the harder it is to disable with damage. So basically, if Emmie had hit you, you would have blown up, probably completely with how unstable that ability is, and she'd have been mostly fine) The heat was beyond anything any human should have been able to bear, but Temperance couldn't give in to this traitor. Kayli launched an orb of metal towards the hammer in a vain attempt to knock it over to Temperance, but it turned to slag long before reaching its destination. Thanks to Libra's main body still functioning, Temperance hadn't officially lost yet, but without her hammer she couldn't really do much to fight back. She kicked off her melted roller blades so she could move around a little better and began to crawl back to her mech. But then she saw the crowd, they were growing restless. Their confusion and anger mixed with hers and created another feedback loop just like the excitement one. She frowned, it didn't seem like she could keep going without making everyone really angry. "I forfeit." She said, slumping to the ground, "But you didn't win you stupid traitor. Using Nil to protect you is way worse than cheating."
  17. So at the bus stop just now. 15-20 people pulled up in a pair of plateless cars, singled out a girl, and proceeded to beat her and went so far as attempting to throw her in front of the bus as it pulled up. Fun times

  18. NYAHIRO Nyahiro beamed happily. "Of course I'll help Bridgett-san." She said, "She'll always be safe with me around, Voice-san." She put down the bento and picked up Bridgett, cheerfully carrying her on her back. Assuming the safest place to be the castle, Nyahiro took Bridgett in there. Upon finding a door, Nyahiro set Bridgett down and put the Dokodemo Dial on it. She turned the dial and opened the door, revealing the bedroom. Nyahiro picked up Bridgett and began to carry her inside, clearly heading towards the bathroom. "It's very safe in here, Voice-san. I will undress Bridgett-san so she can take her bath." Nyahiro explained.
  19. Libra The fire lashed out to engulf Temperance and she dove. She was at no risk of physical harm, so she attempted to power through. The heat and flames were painful, but she'd been trained to deal with extreme pain for at least a little while. She barreled down on Supernova, hefting her hammer for a brutal swing at his exposed chest. "Light's out!" She yelled, swinging with all her might. Just as her hammer made contact with he opponent's mech, the entire world seemed to slow down. [Sound effect.] The world inside the fire shifted in color, becoming the negative of itself. And her hammer disappeared. Temperance collided with Supernova, quickly rebounding off his searing surface with her flexible limbs. Her hammer reappeared as soon as she was moving away from her opponent. She fell to the ground, landing roughly and using her hammer to break her fall. Her hands, feet, and knees were severely burned. Her face was scorched with anger and confusion, and the crowd seemed to be subdued. All of their shared excitement seemed to be completely gone. Seething, Temperance glared up at the fireball that Supernova had become. "How did you do that?" She demanded furiously, "Are you a traitor?"
  20. Libra Temperance whirled her hammer, turning Tai's weak attack into a tornado of fire that trailed in her wake. She stopped herself against the barrier, waving to the crowd and she began to fall back down. A chunk of metal launched from Libra's slings shot up to meet her, and she hit it with her hammer, propelling herself down onto Tai's position. "This is like playing mouse and snake." Temperance called to her opponent cheerfully, "And my audience is so happy watching us play." Cardinal Cardinal watched the fight unfold, Tai was clearly not prepared to deal with such an overwhelming opponent. What was Lord even thinking, letting that girl compete? Cardinal could easily handle Temperance, but there was no way any of the contestants stood a chance against a monster like that. These were duelists used to fighting in a match of wits and strength, not demigods ready to take down dragons. If anyone was a demigod here, it was Temperance herself. So then what was the point of putting her in the competition at all? Cardinal stopped watching the fight and slipped into Tai's mind again. "She's too strong now, you can't just keep running." She told him, "She's toying with you, she has no reason to rush finishing you off, she's completely unstoppable. Except she isn't unstoppable, it's still possible to beat her. Once she's out of her mech, something you luckily managed early on, she has very weak defenses, even with all of her Favor. If you can land a strong enough hit on her, she'll be unable to stop it, even with that pesky hammer."
  21. Silent Requiem It had worked. Somehow it had worked. Not the lockup, that was far simpler than a Phase Punch so Adam had no doubt that it would work. But his opponent, they were taken aback by it. Off balance. And one of the few things still working was Silent Requiem's signature. Adam's comms were dead, so he didn't know the electricity was coming, but in the end it didn't matter. Just as Revenant started his final assault, Adam triggered Alpha Screech. Electricity shot through everything, but then it didn't. Alpha Screech was a signature, it overrode anything else. It disrupted Revenant's concentration, opening him for an assault. As quickly as it began, the electricity faded. That didn't mean Adam didn't feel it, no, he felt a lot of it, but it was nowhere near the full brunt of the attack and he was able to maintain consciousness. Pushing through the pain, Adam made his follow-up, he manually deployed three of his mech's blades--that was the most he could manage at once with the mechanical controls--inwards onto Revenant, piercing into the mech's weak armor and cutting its torso in half horizontally. Libra "I am cool without it, right?!" Temperance replied. Using the momentum from her roller blade, Temeprance hopped into one of the scales on her mech, locking herself in place with her hammer as it immediately began to whirl. The she launched out of it, rocketing straight towards Supernova. This time trying to hit his jets directly with her hammer. She was pretty sure he'd find a way to handle her attack again, but she still had plenty of super fun ideas left on how to knock him down.
  22. Libra "I know right?!" Temperance yelled back, "I'm awesome!" Through the smoke, Tai heard a whirling sound. A large metal chunk shot through aimed in his direction, but it missed by a good ways. But the whirling hadn't stopped. The metal was followed shortly by Temeprance. The chunk bounced off the forcefield that protected the spectators, falling back down harmlessly. Temperance met it on her way up, and smashed it with her hammer. Not being grounded, she didn't have the hammer's full force behind her, but it was still enough to send the chunk shooting towards the right side of Supernova's thruster package. Temperance was pushed backwards to the edge of the arena by that same force and used her hammer to catch her against the forcefield. She was going to rebound off of it, but she felt a slight twinge of doubt and hesitated, sliding down to the ground instead. At this point, she was strong enough to handle whatever Tai could throw at her, physically and emotionally, but it had caught her off guard. She shook it off and dashed back towards her mech. Nothing was going to stop her now. Silent Requiem (OOC: You know what, Adam is totally enough of a dick to do this) Adam was flung all about the inside of his cockpit as his mech shot around the arena. He eventually managed to get into the pilot's seat, pulling something in his non-broken arm as he did so. The seat was made to balance when moving at high speeds, but usually it was assisted by electronic servos. Still, he was able to clutch it for dear life. The controls were still burnt out, but some of his cameras had come back online. He could see now why he was being flung about, Revenant was throwing him about using the device embedded in his hull. The mech was recovering quickly from the dents, but they were being applied so often, eventually it wouldn't be able to keep up. He had to do something. Revenant wouldn't let him attack, he seemed to just ricochet off the air when he got close, so he couldn't manually deploy a blade and stab him. He did have one idea. He'd actually gotten it when he'd tried to Phase Punch Hellfire Knight. It wasn't near as desperate a maneuver as a Phase Punch, and certainly not as dangerous, but Amelia would probably still yell at him for the similarity. Well, it was that or be bashed around until his mech was such a mess that his opponent could just walk up and break him open. So Adam went with that. He held on tightly and waited until he was on a trajectory towards Revenant. Then, as with the Phase Punch, he dissolved the mech. The disk launched away from Revenant, but Adam's body continued to fly forward. Just before colliding with Revenant's armor and turning himself into a human stain, his mech rematerialized around him. His armor melded with his opponent's, fusing the two mechs together and locking up both of their movements. The pilot's seat formed around Adam, but as the belt was still broken and he ended up still colliding with Revenant. He felt a cracking sensation and a sharp pain from his mouth; he wasn't quite sure if it was a tooth or his jaw, either way it seemed he was reaching his limit.
  23. "There are stars born every day. People who believe in the science of the stars are called Scientologists."

  24. Silent Requiem Well that wasn't good. That was in fact very bad. Adam cameras were blind and his controls were fried. He was dead in the water. Also he was spinning for some reason. Suddenly, Silent Requiem jolted as though it had collided with something. Adam was flung about the mech again. Outside, Silent Requiem had shot off the ground, smashing into Revenant and sending both mechs sprawling. Silent Requiem kept spinning the whole way, and didn't look like it had any intention of stopping any time soon. It seemed that the same electricity that had destroyed Silent Requiem's systems had also turned the whole mech into a spinning magnetic orb. (OOC: Emmie later, leaving skewl soon)
