I may have read into it a bit much, but he has also stated previously that this guy is the same to everyone. But he only seems to care about it when it's a girl. I am also inferring a bit from other statements he's made and assuming this statement is made with the same mindset I can state from experience that even jokes can be harmful. And it's even more harmful to expect a guy to stand there and take it just because he's a guy. Further, there's plenty of times when it's not really a joke and the antagonist will just pretend it's a joke when someone tries to call him out on it ...What if some girl was picking on Jenny and she needed defending like she does from the other guy? Also does this mean you do hit guys and have no issue with that?

Yeah, I know. I have plenty of friends who do that ^^ And Guant, she does like him, just not romantically. You needn't be so combative, P sure that was a joke You like the laughing, so that's not really a flaw. And "getting emotional" isn't necessarily a flaw, unless you mean she has a short temper, but this sounds more like she's just a delicate person. Whether or not any of it really is... that's debatable. For quite some time I had a crush on a guy who's a total smart-ass, he's also capable of being quite sweet and is very funny to be around. Also he's one of the smartest people I know, it's great to try to talk physics with him even though he's way better at physics than I am This holds her to some huge standards that, if/when you somehow manage to start dating, she won't live up to. I'm she's she's a wonderful young woman, but this sentence is born purely of infatuation. If you hold her on some unrealistic pedestal of perfection, which statements like this would indicate you do, then you're not ready for the reality of a relationship And after reading Yash's post, I did go and read some more of your other posts. And I say again, you should really be working on your own maturity. Instead of pointing out all the things wrong with this other guy, maybe you should start by realizing all the things wrong with yourself. Well, for one, this isn't a very complete story. But if I had to guess, this Jenny actually does have plenty of reason to like him and you're just being jealous. And if she doesn't, then maybe she just has bad taste. And if she's got bad taste you prolly shouldn't waste your time on her Ima be honest though, the attitude you're showing with this thread is not a very mature one. I don't know you very well, so I could be wrong obvs. But as it stands, this kind of attitude is extremely depreciative of this young woman. You speak almost as though she's been stolen from you. And no matter what your interpretation of her reasons is, she does have feelings for this other guy. If you really care about her, then you should be willing to let her make her own decisions (ever heard the phrase "if you love something, set it free"?
