    I have this weird burning metallic taste in my throat, like someone sprayed a mix of pepper and aluminum all over the inside of my mouth and esophagus

      Sorry, I'll take it more seriously. Sounds like

      burning mouth syndrome. Common causes are vitamin deficiency, hormonal imbalance, possible side effects from medication, or even acid reflux.
