      I think I've killed like 20 shiny Unown when grinding beneath the Great Stairway.

      it's ridiculous, no matter what Pokemon game you play. in the Main Series, almost no-one sees a Shiny. In Reborn, you're practically guaranteed to see a Shiny at least once before you go up against the Champion (Whoever/Whatever it may be).
