it's sad when even Pikachu is getting less screen time than the frog.

The same thing that's the series mascot.

    4. Noir

That's not going to be Ash's Zard, considering Alain is facing it first round, and Ash's first match isn't against Alain anyways.

  2. Have you even see the latest episodes of re:zero and boku no hero
  3. I agree that it had to do with the dog bite, since he didn't show much of a sign of being sick this time. Could've also been food poisoning, considering he didn't eat anything during the evening. That red/blue ogre scene was so good too.
  4. Already calling it, either rem or ram killed mc. That whole talk about demons was fishy, not to mention that this time ram didn't give subaru a tour around the house. The clown guy seems a bit too obvious. Here's the manga version of that final amazing scene.
  5. My favorite ones so far are boku no hero academia, re: zero and joker game. Finally a non boring hero show, a non shit mmorpg fantasy anime and an actual (good) seinen. This season surprised me a lot, especially the latter two. I'm also enjoying big order and mayoiga for how bad they are. This level of comedy is way higher than sakamoto. I legit can't help but laugh everytime they give the characters that edgy face with the eyes resized to 1 pixel. Executioner-chan best girl. Also happened to check out bungo stray dogs, kiznaiver, attack on kabane and sousei no omnyouji. The first two I found to be decent, they're not bad but they're nothing special so far. Kabaneri I'm just watching for the lols, it's like playing a "find the difference(s)" type of game, a hard one too. As for sousei no omnyouji I liked the first episode, but the latest two were complete shit. The annoying useless pet and the tropes are so damn strong (rest in peace big tits childhood friend). I don't even know how good the manga is, but this show is looking like it's going to turn out really bad. Oh pierrot why must you be such a terrible studio.
  6. I would've let that scene go like I did when Satoru asked Yuki about Hinazuki and he started going nervous, but then I remembered how the killer gave the little girl ice cream in the original timeline. Also, dat mom is so yokai she can even kill her future self disguised as a man, this theory is good. No wonder Satoru inherited a time travelling ability. Jokes aside, Satoru is the only other possible killer I can think of, mostly cause of a single frame around minute 0:55 of the opening. Otherwise I don't know, cause the other possible killers are way too obvious or there isn't enough evidence to prove they're the killer yet. inb4 it was bully loli all along
  7. Only watching Erased and Ass Class season 2. At the moment, Ass Class is episodic af comparing to the first season, I'm at least hoping they don't screw up the next few episodes, cause it should get good from now on. Erased is pure fucking greatness. I love the cinematography/animation, it's like Shinsekai Yori art-style with a good budget. The pace is also so god damn perfect comparing to other similar time travel shows. Not too slow like Steins;Gate, neither too fast like Madoka. I stopped watching Ajin cause I ended up just watching the movie, which was pretty nice. Will likely pick it up later once I feel like it. Might also pick up Dimension W, Gundam IBO and Heavy Object at some point. Dropped phantom world, grimgar, divine gate, dagashi kashi, prince of stride, bubuki buranki and shouwa genroku cause they were all boring and bad.
  8. pv for aot knock-off to come out this spring season DAT OP SO HYPE
  9. forever flat tho
  10. one punch man in a nutshell for me, it just constantly tried to make me laugh with the same joke. the show doesn't even try to make up with the action/story. it never gives you any motives to find the fight scenes hype-inducing and instead keeps relying on that bad humor to make up for it.
  11. ajin is the only other seinen airing this season and it's pretty good. only drawback is the cgi animation, which sometimes has low fps, but every now and then it has some pretty well animated scenes. the death scene at the end of episode 2 was so freaking epic.
  12. man, i am so done with angie puns
  13. i wonder wat the 0.02% might be tho
  14. i like bubuki buranki's op. the red haired chick reminds me of zumi for some reason. also, speaking of cgi anime, the first episode of ajin came out earlier (in shitty subs) and i'm really liking how it's being done so far. the cgi isn't as good as bubuki buranki's, but it's still decent, to some extent. i just wish it didn't feel like watching some fucking 10 fps gameplay, it really doesn't feel smooth most of the times. at least the ajin fighting scenes seem pretty good from the preview, so i'll just wait for those. other than the cgi, it's pretty solid so far. the soundtrack easily makes up for the animation, it's so fucking good. opening is also amazing, probably my favorite of the season along with divine gate's: this comment tho lmao. had me in tears. gonna wait till 5-6 episodes have aired for each show to talk about my favorite ones.
  15. what the two above me said. this might even end up being my favorite anime of the year, which says a lot because 2016 is filled with some pretty amazing shows. ye, pretty sure they weren't present on the original timeline either.
  16. ass class so hype. really hope i get to see best girl animated.
  17. pretty sure it doesn't spoil anything, but it's a lot easier to understand if you've played the original series. it is a spin-off and, like most spin-offs, it has connections to the original series, which you will completely miss unless you've already played them.
  18. ok, after watching the first episode of erased I have to say I'm very glad that they did things like this. I could imagine this "prologue" being split into 3 or 4 episodes, seeing as the episode was more or less split into 4 parts, but if they did that, they would have to extend the dialogue by a lot and perhaps even add some filler dialogue. instead, they chose to show only the important parts that really matter to the actual story. no filler. no shitty/terribly written/philosophical/pretentious dialogue like a-1 pictures did with subete ga f ni naru: the garbage insider (remember kids, you can't smoke underwater). at first, I really feared they would make this error thus ruining the show by a bit, given the main character's internal monologue and the questions he was asking himself when the episode started. rather than that, as soon as the introduction was over, they didn't hesitate to start telling the story and presented the show extremely well. also, going to have to talk about this very obvious similarity to a few other shows under a spoiler tag: o and dat title tho. "erased" or something like "i/someone/we no longer exist/have been erased". this could be referring to the way revival works. it could also mean that the protagonist was erased from the original timeline, or that the girl he couldn't save was erased from that same timeline. edit: ah it actually translates to "the town where im the only one missing" or something. penis.
