  1. @ Kingd :You can actually skip fighting them, just go the same way as Radomus. @ Ame: Amazing episode, and REALLY thanks for all that stuff at seventh street.. Heading to the valley now!
  2. The time is a little bad for me but I'll try to be there. See you guys! Edit: oh forget it, it's 9:00 here... already have stuff for that time. Good battling for everyone then.
  3. It's back! Yeah! Get ready team! Episode eleven here we go!!! ... "estimated time for download: 1h34min" ... Well, in a while.
  4. All mirrors down here too... It says the file has been removed. I'll try again later.
  5. Hey I was really wandering what that tube was doing there... Thanks, I'll go take a look right now!
  6. Wait, Solosis is in there? I went there three times but had no idea... Where is it Vinny?
  7. Zubat. I think I don't need to specify why, right?
  8. Ok everybody, first of all thanks for all your opinions and tips. At least for me this thread has been really helpfull in a way of coming to know what veterans think and look not only in the basics but also in the different play styles. Now, I may be new for competitive battling, but I'm on competitive sports for a long while and one thing I learned is that different people face the game different ways. There's the ones that are happy just competing with their friends, not caring if they win or not, and there's the ones that only get some joy when they win. There's also people who can play both ways and be happy wathever the outcome. This said, let's please stick to your own opinions and respect other's even if you disagree with them, for everyone has a different way to play the game and I for one like knowing the most ways possible. I'm not directing this at anyone but rather at everyone. Thanks again, you guys are helping me out a lot!
  9. Here too on the forums. Don't know about the server though, since I didn't get in today.
  10. @ Sweater (sorry, your forum name is too big for me to remember so I used the alias ): Try the What Type are You quiz and you'll understand.
  11. They were. This way begun the journey of the three friends. Although they were determined to find the source of the sudden change in the weather, they had no clue where to start their search. No one had ever heard about such a thing before. "Though actually..." Gallie thought, as a faded memory came into his mind. Gallie was a young boy around his sixteen years who lived with the "Ship Captain" Mark. He never knew his true parents, so Mark was all he had. He was very fond of stories, and now one came to his mind that he once heard of an elder in the village, one telling about a endless winter come to their land. He told his companions about that and sugested they should look for the elder. Song: Vorlorn - Flashback http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xxtSqECUxIA
  12. I back up entirely Artemis Fowl, Eragon and of course LoTR, amazing books all of them. Never heard about Wheel of Time, but based on what you guys said it's on top of my "to do" list . @ Hukuna, I just finished reading "The Fall of Arthur" by Tolkien, which is in the collection of incomplete works you mentioned. It's actually a poem, and the most interesting is how Tolkien's son describes how his father was planning to fit the Arthurin legend in the rest of his works by the end of the story. Another great book by Eoin Colfer is "The Wish List", in which a dead girl comes back to our world as a ghost to help the last person she hurt to fulfill his wishes, in order t go to heaven herself. It's more a comedy than anything, but it made laugh hard!
  13. Oh right, guess I was a little lazy on reading. Thanks Vinny!
  14. Woah, I didn't expect it so fast (seeing as there was the league thing coming out too) ! Great news! Also one doubt on topic: It's only the move Sunny Day that terminates the Dark Field or Drought can do it too? (too anxious to use my new -ability Ninetales)
  15. I always hated grinding in the main series, cause I got impacient to proceed with the story. That made me always get some two or three pokés and proceed with the game fighting only trainers. In Reborn that - obviously - didn't work, so I found myself for the first time searching for specific pokémon, having more than 4 or 5 on the PC and doing some serious grinding. Surprisingly I loved it, the feel was like I was really playing for the first time! Of course it sometimes get boring, but then I just drop down the computer and come back at other time. I'd say it's part of the game, and as I love the game I like it too.
  16. Calling all of Reborn's book lovers! List your favorite books here and tell everibody why are they so amazing. Maybe you can find something worth reading too! Here go some of mine: Ink Heart trilogy - Fantasy: Very well written and with a plot everyone already thought about - what if you could go into your favorite tales? The story as a whole keeps getting deeper as the series goes on, and the characters are very well built. Definitely worth a look, in my opinion. Ender's Game / Speaker for the Dead - Science Fiction: Amazing plot, just to put it simple, not to mention that the whole theme of understanding and accepting new races and cultures is always actual. The characters are extremely real and the story is one of these that makes you stay up 'till late thinking. Overall one of the best books I ever read. Apart from that, there are some amazing books such as the Song of Ice and Fire series (Game of Thrones), but since they're very well known already I think it wouldn't add much listing it here. So, what you guys like reading?
  17. Finally carnival is over! Now it's time to stop work and start... studying... again... oh damn.

  18. Coral, cause i simply CAN'T live far from water (suposing the lake got clean again of course). Picking out of the city I think it would be Apophil Beach though, that place is beautiful (+ it's got a freaking volcano! ).
  19. After listening to Miki and Sarcus, Jon realized there was not much he could do to help in this stage, so he got to his position and called Kyte back to his pokéball. He knew his partner didn't like it very much, but they coudn't bear to have loud noises now, and the sound of an adult Swampert walking just happened to fall under this category. He surely was quite amazed by the bond Miki seemed to share with Raito by the end of her explanation, but that was something to think about at other time. The plan seemed preety good, so he had nothing to complain about. Though there actually was something he could help. "Ahmn, if we need to open the door, I have some experience with lockpicking"-He remembered the many times he had to break in poké marts back in Hoenn to get medicine for Kyte-"As long as it's nothing electronic of course, but... Maybe Flux can cover that?" he asked the scientist in an unsure tone.
  20. Sorry for the delay in answering guys, coudn't get much net time these days. Bear, thanks for the insight, those two you pointed out are really big threats. For Gliscor, Empoleon can actually take an Earthquake at full health and OHKO back with Ice Beam (the bulky bastard ), but it's the only one that can take it down, and only at full health. Getting grass knot on it woudn't help much for Azumarill, as the damage is only 33%, but I think I'll drop SR for it so I can cover Gastrodon, Quagsyre & co. and get HP ice back on Jolteon to help with Gliscor. For Azumarill I get no ideas without changing someone. Aeon, really that was dumbish, thanks for pointing out! Though I think I'll be dropping both, since Talonflame's got Roost against rocks and I think T wave+ Air Slash on Togekiss seems too good to lose. Also thanks Dark Desire, I didn't realize there would be so many triples... I'll be sure to check other options! Edit: I'll change Conkeldurr's set for more coverage and forget bulk up. Edit - the return: Changed SD for Steel wing in Talonflame, else it would be useless against Hardy.
  21. Ah man, I'm sorry that I missed it but only now I could get to the pc... Next one though, I'm in! Also congrats Berserker!
  22. Welcome to the asylum site! Everytime someone calls you an amateur, remember that amateurs built Noah's ark. The professionals made the Titanic.
  23. Yeah Abbey you're right, discharge is a risky choice. Even if the leader does not use a red card, it'll hit everyone except for chomps. I'm gonna change it for Thunderbolt, thanks!
  24. Jon payed very close attention to the other's introductions. It seemed like some of them already knew each other, especifically the scientist guy , the one with the Absol and the girl with Jolteon. They were... Flux, Sarcus and Miki, was it? Jon was terrible remembering people's names. Kyte seemed to be liking to see all this people for a change. When Miki's Raito glanced at him, visibly unconfortable, the big blue pokémon returned the gaze with a smile and a wave from one of his thick hands as a greeting. Jon found it amazing how diferently the Swampert acted around these people, as since they'd fled Sootopolis he was always trying to avoid human contact. He didn't even bother when Alina showed up with her Serperior, as huge a threat as they seemed to be, and greeted the grass snake the same way. Jon wasn't falling for that though, and tensed up instantly. While he was lost in tought about these people, something on the floor next to them made a strange noise. It was a black thing that should be some sort of radio, as a voice came out of it. "This is Agent Volcano calling to confirm landing of Team Slyveon Covert Ops team. Does anybody read me?" "Confirmed" - Sarcus responded for them. "Well, guess it's action time." - he muttered to himself as he waited for the instructions.
  25. It keeps on the bag. Just tested on Emerald, but I personally like it more going back to fight.
