Under The Hill [OOC/Sign-Ups]

I'll be out for some time tomorrow, so I let something for you to play a little in the IC. Hope I didn't go too over the top there. Also, remember the night fall was gradual, so you do have a little time to prepare before the doomed (the "monsters") appear.- 1735 replies

Under the Hill - Second Circle: Lust
Notus replied to Notus's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
While Mr. Taylor and Ethic finished their respective conversations, the sun lazily set behind the horizon, and darkness slowly began to gather for the night. It seemed it wouldn't be completely dark though, as the moon was readily coming up from behind the higher terrace of the gardens. Two things they imediatelly noticed. One, there where no stars at all in the sky, although it was completely clear. Two, this moon was blood red. The garden suddenly started looking more menacing under that crimson light, and the feeling of unease was further expanded by the wailings of a thousand voices that started to sound, seemingly coming from the ground beneath them. Then the creepy sound stopped. Silence reigned for a moment and suddenly hands started coming out from under the roots of the big trees, followed by arms and heads and bodies. Those who were sprouting from the ground looked like regular people. Actually, most of them could be considered preety people. The things more amiss there was the fact they were all naked, and the look in their eyes: fiery, as if burning with obsession. They came out in couples, and as soon as they were out they would quickly, madly turn to their partners in a motion to touch them. And then they bleed. Every single touch they laid upon each other woud tear open a wound. And each wound hurt like Hell, for they imediatelly started screaming in agony, but even then they wouldn't stop. They turned around and went towards any other moving thing nearby, and they embraced, and they bleed, and soon the floor was as red as the moon over their heads. And thus, the lust of night fell on the Second Circle. -
Graterras Chapter 2: A Second Chance [IC]
Notus replied to Raindrop Valkyrie's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
Marcus - Frontliners "Marcus, and you lot. You should see to your friend. I am sure he doesn't want to see me anytime soon." Marcus sighed after the scene was over. "Ok, I'll go see him. Not like I was being of much help here anyway." he said, starting to walk after Sigurd. He was quite curious about Orpheaus story with his brother, but it didn't look like the best time to be asking these things around. Besides, he was worried with the Wind Templar too. That fellow showed he could be quite the funny guy when feeling good, and the sudden outbursts he had with Orpheaus would surelly bring problems for him. He sped his pace a little and finnaly catched up with the Northener. "Hey Sigurd, can I walk with you a little?" Marcus asked, trying a calm approach. -

Ellaria Ellaria stood listening quietly to the others while all the events of their arrival were happening. Partially that was because she was still absorbing the sudden change of environment, trying to feel her surroundings. Mostly, however, she was thinkiing about the sentence she got. It was no surprise for her, being found guilty of treason, but what Minos said about changing paths... That got her thinking. She remembered Enya saying the Judge was nice. Maybe she was right. Finally she got out of her wandering, in time to hear Byron's request and Annies speech about her wish. She had to remember that only one of them would get this wish, and of course that made her wary. After thinking a little she spoke. "I will agree with what the others decide." -

Under The Hill [OOC/Sign-Ups]
Notus replied to Notus's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
Soo forums are back (yet again). First of all, thanks a lot guys! I'm having tons of fun playing this RP and it is very rewarding to know you're liking it as well! Your characters are all great and I'd say they are the ones who really make the story. Also, @ Stratos: Yeah it is safe to touch the flowers, at least for now. Or I could be lying . But don't worry, things will get more hellish soon... @Alatreon: Just to remember, when you fight with other PCs be sure to leave space for them to react. It's important not to assume your hits landed, else it would be to easy for the characters to kill one another. Edit: Ooh,I just now saw the last posts above.XP- 1735 replies

((Some sound for you guys.)) Slowly the adventurers opened their eyes, feeling sore as if they had fallen from a considerable height. Looking around them, the first thing they noticed was their companions from the Library waking up. Then they started looking around to the place they were in. One thing was for sure: it didn't look like Hell at all. The place was a lush garden, filled with flowers and fountains and huge trees. Pathways of worked stone cut through the green of the place, adorned by statues of fantastic creatures. The garden was enormous. To one side it extended for as far as the eyes could see: to the other, it got progressivelly higher, divided in terraces, until it ended up in a peak, very far away. Between the terraces they could see waterfalls feeding the irrigation sistem, and adorned stairways linked the different levels. It was in this environment that they woke up after receiving their sentences, and as the sun moved over towards the horizon, signalling that the day was about to end, they started their journey through the Second Circle of Hell. ((Note: Again, you are grouped as you were in the Library.))

Oh well, I was tempted to say pride at first too, but -weird- there's no punishment for it on Dante's Hell. Edit: I was going to post the new chapter tomorrow, but got an creatitvity attack and got it all ready... So there it goes!- 1735 replies

^ Kkk no need for all that, Stratos. Sometimes the most obvious things are the ones that escape us, that's why outside opinions are so valuable sometimes. Aand speaking of that, feedback time! Guys, what's your opinion on this first chapter? What do you think that can be improved for the next ones?- 1735 replies

Under the Hill - First Circle: Judgement
Notus replied to Notus's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
The judge looked one more time over all of them, those who spoke and those who remained quiet. "So, this is it. But before you go, I have one more detail to clear, as your friend the Phantom just made sure to remember. The way out is open to all of you, but there's something special only to the first to get there. This person will be granted a wish. Any wish. Consider it as a farewell gift." After saying that Minos stood up and moved towards the group, showing his snake-like lower body. This time, however, he had one tail for each person on the room. "Now listen. Until now you were but in the in front door of Hell. If you found what you've been through up to now too overwhelming, keep in mind that you've seen nothing yet. Your true journey begins now." With that said, Minos thrust his tails forwards, wrapping them several times around each one of the adventurers. Right after, a black hole appeared beneath them and the judge threw them all on it. A moment later, another voice sounded on the courtroom. "So, have you sent the next lot?" it asked. "Yes. This one seems promising, maybe one of them can make it." "Is that so? Good. I'll be waiting." Minos couldn't hold a smile. The real game had just begun. ((END OF CHAPTER. See you guys on Under the Hill-Second Circle: Lust)) -
Ooh, I like this thread. After all, travelling is the best thing ever! For starters, the place where I live: Ilhabela, São Paulo state, Brazil. The name of the city literally means "Beautiful Island" and if you guys like beaches, waterfalls, treking and any sort of water sports, this is the place. Local folclore is very rich, specially in pirate stories and and shipwrecks, and the cultural agenda is full almost all year long. Other than that, it's a small town with only thirty thousand inhabitants, thanks to the state park that preserves almost 90% of the island's area. If you could't tell, I love it here. On another note, there's a big friend of mine going to Canada this year. Do you guys know some nice places there?

^^Guess that Brick Break will come handy.

Jon turned to the others. Every fiber in his body was telling him to turn back and run now that they were discovered, but that would ruin his chances with Team Dusk and therefore his chances to find his father. "Ok then, we're clear for now, but I think that since we're not hiding anymore we should speed up before they call reinforcements." he managed to tell the others.

Graterras Chapter 2: A Second Chance [IC]
Notus replied to Raindrop Valkyrie's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
Marcus - Frontliners “How can you stay calm after hearing this? That bastard didn’t even consider us worthy thus insulted us as warriors. And Orpheaus here might know something to kill him!” "Woah, calm there Breeze-Head." Marcus answered the other Templar. "I'm as surprised as you are but you know, where I come from there are better ways to get someone's help than at sword point. Besides, if he truly was as powerfull as that thing I don't think he would be asking you to let him go." he tried to reason. -
Under the Hill - First Circle: Judgement
Notus replied to Notus's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
"Very well then. As you're all so eager to know, I'll make it quick." the judge answered. He waved his hand and a sheet of paper appeared on it. "First I'll call the indictees condemned for the Sin of Violence against people: Marcus, Phantom, Lord Byron the Third and Quickshot Quincy. You were found guilty of intentional murder, and are therefore comdemned to the Seventh Circle of Hell, The Vale of Flagetonte." "Next come those comdemned for the Sin of Greed: Damian, Kenny Holmes and Ixidor McTracy. You all aspire something badly and won't let anything stay in your path. You will be allocated in the Fourth Circle of Hell." "Then, the indictee condemned for the Sin of Rage, Ethic Ytilarom. You are hereby condemned to the Fifth Circle of Hell, the River Styx, by your wrathfull conduct over the ones next to you." "Ellaria Stonewall was considered guilty for the Sin of Treason, and therefore sentenced to the Ninth Circle." "And finally, the special cases. Mister Taylor, Rose and Enya were found innocent by the jury. However, Enya's partner Ace is condemned to stay on the Ninth Circle as well." Minos laid back in his chair, an annoyed look on his face."That's what I would like to tell you, but unfortunately you are on a... different position here. Basically, the Circle you are sent to when you're sentenced reflects the path you chose to walk in life. Living Souls have the power to change this path, but once they die and enter Hell, they are locked for eternity on the place they chose to be. The problem is: you're all still alive. As such, I can't go over the power you have with to change your fate, but I can't just let you go either." "Therefore all of you will have your sentence changed. You will walk through all nine Circles, and will only be allowed to leave when - and if - you reach the last chamber of the last Circle, the true bottom of Hell. For those found innocent, see it as a punishment for having entered this place. For those guilty, see it as a last chance to fix your path." he told them all, a serious look on his face. "Anyone would like to have a final word before we move on?" -
Oops, just remembered a detail.

Goldeen. Name is up to you. Aaand good luck!

^ Agreed with Telos, I don't think the Cup was a good idea for the country right now (Holy crap, only to imagine São Paulo's traffic in a game day makes me shiver). One thing that I'm not sure everyone noticed is that here in Brazil, this Cup has a tremendous political value. I think it's safe to say that the results of this year's elections depend on whether it works or not and even if we win it or not. So, there's a lot in play there. Well, right now we can just watch from the sidelines and pray for a good show, but I would not be surprised if things started going wrong,
