Notus

So, just got to 200 gold medals from Nero Fest. Now I´m wondering if I should spend them in the CE or in the Cristalized Lore... What do you guys think?

Welcome to the madhouse, Midoriame! Yep, I basically didn´t spend any quartz up until now because the servants I´m aiming for will take some time to make their appearance. I´d be really happy with either Mordred (my favourite) or Musashi (3 buster cards) as Sabers, and those two are my primary targets. Of course, if there´s a rate up on Scathach or Iskandar I´d also give them a try. Lucky for me i´ve already got Herc, my favourite Berserker, from the summon tickets.

I´ll take a look there and start preparing a character then! It´s been waay too long without playing an RP, I´m itching to get back!

I´ve been out of here for too long, might as well give it a try. Count me in! Edit: Do abilities that grant immunity like Levitate also count? It would be good to have a list of the allowed abilities.

Juust passing by to say I´ve catch up and read through the six pages. This is looking great and I´m really liking the characters, keep it up guys!

Wot- That´s a hella strong Tamamo at this point of the game! Congrats mate! So, Nero Fest just gave me one hell of a gift and now I have all I need to ascend Herc again and almost everything for doing that for Emiya too (missing some archer pieces). I thought I´d be farming for Octuplet Crystals forever, so that´s a big relief! Other than that, does anyone know if there´s a prevision for the Okeanos story line to start?

The main team I´m running is a Buster composed around Herc. Mash leads for giving him more durability and I try to use either Vlad (helps charging Nine Lives for the more difficult fights) or Lancelot/Tamamo Cat (more Buster cards) from friends depending on the difficulty level of the quest. I feel Buster is a really great option for grinding and progressing fast, since I can finish most quests in 3-6 turns with those guys. I also have an Arts oriented party that uses Mash´s Wall of Fuming Chalk and Emiya´s three Arts cards to get Unlimited Blade Works and Lily´s Caliburn firing as much as possible, and I´m testing a Quick team with Hassam, Cu Lancer and Alexander but I´m still learning that play style.

So, aparently the old Fate Grand Order thread is lost and then we also have the advent of the English version in the U.S... So I was wandering who else migrated to the North American server. I´ve been playing in English for around two weeks now and already finished all the available storyline (it´s great to finally be able to understand the dialogues) and I´m now farming ascension items for my servants. Pokémon was always my favourite game and finding this jewel here got me anxious for more content. I lurked around in the forums for quite some time before deciding to sign up in... What was it, 2013? Anyway, in a short while I fell in love with this place, made some great friends online for the first time in my life and also learned a lot about the game itself. Soon I got into the Creative Writing Section (at that time, it was only for RP) and that´s where I spent most of my time in the Forums, reading and writing along with the good people in there. I also learned competitive battling in the Reborn Server and got through more than half of the Reborn League before it was shut down (RIP). In the last two years I´ve been way less active than before and now I´m trying once again to come back. Anything you're responsible for?: I did host a couple of RPs and started the EV Training Guide (is this still a thing?), but other than that I just enjoy the community. If you had to choose one of your posts as your way to introduce yourself, which would it be? I guess my first post in the OOC of the RP "Under the Hill", in the RP Forums. But honestly this one is way more complete. What can I talk to you about? Books, stories in general, a bit about music, and specially travels (I´ve been to some cool places and the plan is to keep the list growing). And obviously pokémon. The best thing about Reborn is getting to know the people that come here, so actually any subject is fine to start a conversation. Closing statements? Nice to meet you all, hopefully my stay will be longer this time around!

This will be a bit short since I´ve been a bit too absent lately, but I couldn´t just leave without thanking some people - if all of them have been recently active or not I do not know, but anyway: @Hukuna the Undying, @Flux ,@Sutoratosu, @Rosesong, great friends from the RPing session who taught me way more than a thing or two about writing and even more about making friends online. @Sheep for the always amazing and balanced battles on the server and the even better conversations here on the forums. (Not to mention the Fate/GO tips. I´ll be bothering you with these again later, mate! XD) Aaand there´s a ton of people who have made my days more fun with their presence (some probably changed names while I was out and I can´t manage to tag here) and I´ll probably let some pass but anyways a shoutout for Vinny , Zephy, @Arkhi , @Sparky, @Reignited'Light and obviously the one that made all of this possible, @Amethyst. Hopefully I´ll be seeing more of you all from now on!

The War Girl Petra let go of the remainings of the Bone Wasp and watched as it fell to the ground with a wet cracking sound. She felt pain - lots of it - but also relief and, strangely, a hint of joy. Maybe she should be worried about it, or it could be just effect of the adrenaline, but she knew she didn´t have the time to think about that now. After looking back for a moment to check on the advance of the Black, the War Girl walked, limping a bit, to the next room.

The War Girl Petra once more screamed inside her mind, while her face showed no sign of pain whatsoever. She was dizzy, but somehow her body still reacted in a cold and calculated manner, with a slight glint of anger showing in her eyes. She buried her left claw´s fingers into the stinger showing out of her belly, trying to make sure the wasp wasn´t going anywhere. Then she folded her right arm, placing the black cannon over her shoulder - and directly pointed at the monster on her back - and shot at point blank range. (No problem, it´s part of the game XD)

For once, Petra consciently thought of a strategy to beat the wasp and simultaneously reach the next room. The girl turned around, quickly taking aim at the approaching monster and, bracing for the pain, shot another huge bullet at it. While shooting she jumped, so that the recoil of the huge cannon would propel her away from the wasp and towards the exit.

Petra was between happy with her success at destroying the nest and plain dumbfounded at her own newly discovered fire power - all of this with a background of pain from the shot. She started running towards the exit keeping her aim at the wasp, but after such a shocking experience she prefered to try and strike the opponent using the black cannon as a mace instead of shooting, once she had gotten closer. Her body seemed to accept that command, but she was still ready to shoot in case it was needed.

The realization that the room she was in had no apparent exit came as a cold shower to Petra, however while she was looking around an idea suddenly hit her. The nest. It could be that the wasps were coming from somewhere else, passing through that. At least before retreating she should check that out, to make sure that room provided no escape route. How she would do that, though... Again, her body knew the answer, although it wasn´t a very pleasant one. She feinted at the wasp with her sword to gain some space, and then the bones in her right arm started moving once more. The black bone cracked and expanded, taking a long tubular shape with a cubic structure serving as base. "A... cannon?" Petra thought to herself, amazed, as she turned the barrel of the huge weapon towards the wasp´s nest. Then came pain. She felt like a piece of her own arm was being torn off as the cannon fired a projectile made of her own bone towards the target.

The War Girl For a moment Petra exhilarated for having defeated the bone wasp, but her joy was short lived as she was startled by the noise of the lowering roof and the buzz of another insect coming her way. She felt cold sweat running down her forehead, as she realized her situation was way more troublesome than she had thought. Her body assumed a defensive stance and she started to use her head along with her newly acquired instincts. She would try to block the wasp with her Katana and hopefully pressure it towards the exit without using lethal force - meanwhile, she would think of a plan to get past it.

Petra screamed, but no sound came out of her mouth. She noticed the white... blood? cascading from her chest and felt a pain like none she ever had. Still, her body continued to move on it's own. She went for a more cautious stance, following carefully the wasp's movements. She knew she had to break through no matter what to leave the Black behind - even though she didn't know for sure what that was, it scared her more then the monstrous insect in front of her. Then suddenly, she felt pain. Lot's of pain. Her body didn't show it, but she was screaming inside her mind, because something was happening to her right hand. The black claws were fusing together, changing shape and growing with a sickening sound of bone cracking and tearing through flash. The process was fast, but painful to even watch. In the end of it, Petra had a long, Katana like boney sword in the place of her right hand, and started slowly and cautiously pressuring the wasp to the other side of the narrow room, ready to either stab it if it kept in her way or cut it down if she tried to get inside her reach.

Normally Petra would have screamed at the sight of the giant insect coming towards her at blazing speed. She would have considered going back to the previous room, despite of the black shadow creeping ever closer, and she would have hesitated. And she would have died. Her body moved on it´s own, though, as if it was possesed by a predator beast. Before her conscious self could process what was happening, she ran towards the wasp with all the speed her body could muster. On the last moment before being impaled by the wicked stinger, she turned slightly sideways and and lowered her body to position herself under the insect. One of her claws was positioned to deflect the stinger if the monster changed direction, and the other was thrust upwards like a bullet, trying to throw the enemy against the spiked roof.

Petra already had dreams where she felt like she was falling, but being flung across a room was a first. She landed quite nimbly on her feet, and that was one of the reasons she knew this had to be happening inside of her head - she never was even close to being the athletic type, aside from her walks to her neighborhood´s bookstore. She was quick to make note of her surroundings. The pure white of the room was blinding, and she probably wouldn´t even have noticed the door if her senses weren´t somehow heightened. And then, there was the black thing on the other side. Her whole being was screaming "danger" to her for some reason, and she decided to trust her instinct on this one. It really looked ominous. Petra quickly walked to the door and reached for the knob... Only to be left speechless by the vision of her own hand. Better saying, she had no hand anymore, but black, curved and wicked looking claws instead. Petra frantically checked the rest of her body, but aside from the claws she couldn´t see any difference. She was even wearing her usual black and white tracksuit, the one with a crown drawn on the chest. "Calm down, it´s just a dream... I´ll take a better look at my hands later." Petra thought to herself while reaching again for the door knob. Only after turning it she thought how suspect was it that she was actually aware she was dreaming.
