Turtwig. On my first run i picked Chimchar, but in reality, i was going to pick Turtwig since the start. I picked it in my second run. Torterra is actually my favorite grass type and grass starter, so yeah.

You have to use it at least once in the Byxbysion Wasteland. After that, i don't think you do. It's not like HM slaves are worth the slot in Reborn. I don't think you need HM slaves until we reach the Victory Road, the place where we're going to use all of the 25 HMs in Reborn.

Pretty sure it has to be clear weather. I'm not familiar with episode 9 Pick up table, but my guess is that maybe you have the wrong levels. Maybe the King's Rock only appear through pickup for pokes 90+? That could be it. -
