About the thing about making IVs and EVs easier... This game doesn't do "easier".
-
Well, if you're playing a new file, you won't get it for a very long while (hey that rhymes). You'll find the Corrupted Pokeball hidden in the deeper parts of the Underground Railnet (Hint: down there, rock smash isn't only for rocks...). Then, take it to a guy in the Pokeball shop (new place in Obsidia), and he'll explain what a corrupted Pokeball is and make a Missingo reference. Then you need to get him something that's even FARTHER into the game, and a rather heartwarming cutscene occurs in which you obtain Ralts.

Wait, it's banned level? I could never make it work for me, it always backfires... But anyway let's keep this thread to finding stickers and not TMs
-
So it's looking like there's no new Stickers in episode 12 either?
-
Technically, I only checked the one room in the Tanzaan Depths that was already dark. Maybe some other spots have been darkened as well down there? P.S. hey, let's not forget that Volbeat learns Flash with a Heart Scale! Volbeats are available in the wild in Chrysolia forest at night, at 5% chance of appearing. That is, unless Ame removed them...

Checked the Tanzaan Depths' dark room, there was what looks like a Rock Climb wall...

If you're inexperienced with this game you may be asking, "exactly where is my save file and how does one post it to the site"? Well, go to the folder your current game of Pokemon Reborn is in. In this folder there should be three things titled "Game". One of them is a Pokeball and is a RGSS player (click on it to launch the game), one is a "Configuration Settings" and the one is an rxdata. That rxdata is your save file. So what I suggest you all do is make a separate folder and title it "Save Files" or something. Then, every once in a while, copy your current save file, paste it into that folder, and put a number after its name to distinguish itself from the others. Then, if your current save ever becomes corrupted, you can delete it, replace it with one of your extra save files, and take away the number at the end, leaving its name as simply "Game". Unless that save file ALSO suffers the same glitch as the previous one, loading the game with it should start you off normally, and you'll be able to continue the game from where that save left off. You'll lose whatever progress you've made between those two save files, but it will be much better than having to start the entire game over again. ESPECIALLY now that Magikarp was removed.

Well, I tried extracting the old ep. 11 files to the folder (that's how you do it, right?) and now it says: "Script 'Pokemonload' line 393: NoMethodError occurred. undefined method 'updateMap' for nil:NilClass" But it was working just fine before I downloaded ep. 12... I guess I'll try redownloading and hope for the best...
-
When I downloaded the game, it says "The map is corrupt" when I try to load my save... P.S. I'm saved in the grand hall. Here's my save if you wanna check it out: Game.rxdata

No one answered TheRealSpark's question, what is it with the Budews? Is there some context I'm missing out on? Anyway, I'll go with Drifloon. No, I don't hate it as a Pokemon itself, it's just... personal... traumatic experiences... In my X version, I spent DAYS on Route 8 with the Pokeradar, trying to get a Shiny Absol. I never did get it, because my chains were always, ALWAYS broken by... you guessed it... DRIFLOONS. No, never any of the other Pokemon that appear on that route, just Drifloon. Every time. And what's worse, after the 97305th time you get your chain broken by a Drifloon, it's battle cry starts to sound like it's LAUGHING AT YOU.

Well, they guy selling the Pokemon can't be changed. Because 1. It's part of a sidequest to get the Exp. Share, and 2. Take a closer look at the Pokemon he sells. Recognize them from somewhere earlier in the game? The rest, however, sounds like a good idea.

Well, Ame's already changed the teams of other Gym Leaders when she added 6th gen, so taking out a Pokemon who's no longer that type is almost to be expected. I guess I can understand about him using one because of his psychic connection to a Cleffa doll, but shouldn't there be like, a rule against Gym Leaders using Pokemon of the wrong type for gym battles? You'd think that when you become a gym leader, the first thing the Leauge tells you is "Stick to your type or you're fired!"
-
That's...................................COMPLETE BULL! IT'S NOT A NORMAL TYPE! But anyway, I highly suggest you bring something like Toxic along just for Clefable. With its already tankish qualities and Cosmic Power, you're not taking it down with straightforward damage.
-
Well, since your level cap is at 25, probably not yet. Trapinch is one of those Pokemon who sucks until it fully evolves and becomes a monster (LOOKING AT YA RALTS). Here's a tip: If you can find it within yourself to be so patient, keep it as a Trapinch all the way up to level 55, when it learns Earthquake. Without the TM, it'll never learn that move otherwise, and since this is Ame we're talking about you can expect not to see the TM until the aftergame.
-
Haven't fought him since fairy type was added, he still doesn't have that horrible Clefable does he? He shouldn't since it's no longer a normal type...
-
You sure? According to the "Obtainable Pokemon" page, ALL of those guys are still there but Magikarp/Gyrados.
-
He's talking about the DJ Arclight/stolen Pokemon/Exp. Share quest. Details here, under "Exp Share": http://www.pokemonreborn.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=7314&st=0&p=125925

So you may have heard about how Magikarp, the Bird Jesus of Pokemon Reborn, was removed from Episode 12. No, not moved, taken out completely. Now, obviously, It'll come back eventually, as Ame said it's her intention to have ALL Pokemon available at some point in the game. And I think I've figured out how: She made us choose between Igglybuff and Cleffa She made us choose between Archen and Tirtouga She made us choose between Pinsir and Heracross We (kinda) have to choose between Amaura and Tyrunt (not really) She's gonna make us choose between Magikarp and Feebass! That's sadistic, Ame. Making me choose between my favorite Pokemon and the Bird Jesus of this game. (Joke's on you since I'm not gonna restart my game)

3 questions: 1. Does sunny day in desert field stack with the heat rock? If so, how many turns does it become, 11? 2. Doesn't "certain field conditions + readily available move = instant KO on EVERYONE" seem just a bit OP? 3. WHERE'S MILOTIC?

Things Ame should do (lol not do) in Pokemon Reborn.
CURIE replied to Reignited'Light's topic in Reborn City
We really need to stop using this thread, even in jest. Why you ask? Well, a while ago, removing Magikarp was suggested, AND http://www.pokemonreborn.com/forum/index.php?app=members&module=profile§ion=status&type=single&status_id=25022 NOW http://www.pokemonreborn.com/forum/index.php?app=members&module=profile§ion=status&type=single&status_id=25022 IT'S http://www.pokemonreborn.com/forum/index.php?app=members&module=profile§ion=status&type=single&status_id=25022 F*KING http://www.pokemonreborn.com/forum/index.php?app=members&module=profile§ion=status&type=single&status_id=25022 HAPENNNNNNNNIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING -
If I had any feelings toward restarting my game before this (if they existed, they weren't very big), the removal of Magikarp throws them out the window.

I covered that in the "Underneath the Grand Staircase" description. My theory is that it's the backside of the door that Solaris monolouges about in the room with all the Unknowns.

Flame Pledge Blaziken + Drought Ninetails = ULTIMATE DESTRUCTION!

Thanks for the help! If flash can't be used there though, I don't see how ANYONE would have found it without modding...
-
Well, I know of two places like that: The dark room in Tanzan Depths and the Dark room in the Blackstream Factory's basement. It can't be the former, as you would see the bottom of the door in the player's circle of light, so is it the latter? Or is there another dark room that I have somehow never been to?
