  1. 9th? Holy cow that's a lot of new stickers in one episode! It sounds too good to be in a game like Pokemon Reborn!
  2. If you've ever tried collecting all the types of Vivillon, you might notice that up until now, the Pokeball pattern has been by far the hardest to find. It and the Fancy pattern are only available through events. The difference, though, is that the Fancy Vivillon got a worldwide release, while the Pokeball one has only been given out at specific places and times in Japan, Germany, and France. Well now, if you're reading this and live in North America, there's FINALLY an event distribution where you can get the Pokeball Vivillon and complete your collection... but it ends on August 12th, only six days from when I am typing this. So if I were you, I'd go download it A.S.A.P. Unless you're reading this in the near future when August 12 has passed, in which case sucks for you. Downloading it is the same as getting the event Torchic and the Fancy pattern Vivillon. On the X/Y title screen, instead of choosing "Continue", go down and pick "Mystery Gift". From there, pick "Recive Gift" and "Get Via Internet", and after some loading, the Vivillon should appear. Accept and download it, then load your save file and go to any Pokemon center. Next to Nurse Joy should be a delivery girl who isn't usually there. Talk to her and she'll give you your Vivillon if you have room in your party for it. The Vivillon itself, interestingly enough, comes in a regular Pokeball, not a Cherish Ball. It's level 12 with the moves Stun Spore, Gust, Light Screen, and Struggle Bug, has an OT of "SUM2014", has no held item, and carries a Classic Ribbon. So basically, there's nothing special about it other than the fact that it's a Pokeball pattern.
  3. Well, since absolutely NOBODY bothered to answer, I did it myself. I got to 100 in Super Singles and got the Lansat berry, and then I reached 200 in Super Triples and got the Starf Berry. So it's likely that you can do it in any mode.
  4. No guys you all deciphered it wrong. It says "be sure to drink your ovaltine"
  5. You guys forgot the most important aspect of the N's Castle stage. MILOTIC IS IN IT! I don't care that it's only a stage hazard, I'm just happy they put my favorite Pokemon in a Smash Bros game! SPECULATION CORNER I predict that the stage will work similar to how Spear Pillar did, with Reshiram and Zekrom playing the part of Dialga and Palkia, and Milotic playing the part of Cressailia (a rare third option that not many people knew about because it's so rare). Also, could her role in the stage be to show off a new mega evolution, exclusive to Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire? Please make it happen Nintendo!
  6. Maxie's glasses and Archie's anchor-necklace-thingy are confirmed as mega keystones. No word on what their megas are, though I'm pretty sure it's gonna be covered in the Agust issue of CorroCorro...
  7. The Crustle on Route 2 give about as much exp as the Bouffalant, and can be replaced quicker. The drawback: they can have sturdy...
  8. I know about how, to get the Starf Berry in X and Y, you have to get a 200 win streak in the Battle Maison. But I've always thought that it had to be in the standard, single battle format. Recently, however, I've seen people talking about their 200 win streaks in the super Triples and Doubles teams. I've looked it up on Bulbapedia and it just says "get a win streak of 200". Does it have to be in Super Singles, or can it be in any of the super modes?
  9. Feebas confirmed to be able to evolve in the same episode we get it? Well, even if it's not the case, I still have episode 9, which runs the Gen. 5 pickup table.
  10. In the official games, there was a Regice in Ruby version that I'm pretty sure now was shiny but I didn't realize it (it was my first time ever seeing a Regice). Also a shiny Marowak in Leaf Green that knocked itself out in confusion. In Reborn there were several shinies that I got away, mainly because of how common they are, some of them because I already had their shiny forms. But one from Reborn that particularly stands out to me was an Electrode in Shade's gym. Guess what happened. EDIT: there's one more in Leaf Green. A Meowth in the trainer tower on 7th island. Thing is, once the Pokemon is generated, it's there forever. So every time you go through the trainer tower on my Leaf Green cartridge, the shiny Meowth will be there, laughing at you...
  11. But with the power if the Internet, it's hard for misinformation to become widespread. Many people would see others saying Beldum was removed, would go see for themselves, and tell everyone else the truth. The only real way misinformation spreads anymore is when the media gets involved *coughGeorge-Zimmerman-and-his-magic-race-changing-powerscough*
  12. Sydney's braclet confirmed to be a normal bracelet, and Phoebe's anklet confirmed as a normal anklet. Sorry guys, no megas for the E4.
  13. HP doesn't change in any mega evolution ever, so it really doesn't count.
  14. More details confirmed for the new megas: Diancie raises its attacks and speed but lowers its defenses. I... Did not expect that. I bet no one else did either, we expected it to become even more defensive than it already is. Also, Metagross's new ability is Tough Claws, and it gets a boost in...........................wait for it..........................EVERYTHING. But mostly in speed.
  15. Mega Diancie is confirmed to be yet another mega evolution with magic bounce. Also, the next month's CoroCoro will apparently be mostly about Mega Evolution. Hopefully this means they'll list all the new megas in ORAS, and that Milotic would be among them.
  16. Here's a hint: don't expect non-3rd gen megas to appear in a 3rd gen remake.
  17. What exatly do you mean by that? Is it that you're changing the sticker events again, or that you're changing the stuff sold on each floor, or taking away the sticker system altogether and replacing it with, say, gym badges, or what?
  18. Look at the screenshots on Serebii. There are clearly more than sixteen items in those bases.
  19. Secret Bases confirmed, not that anyone expected them to NOT be in the game anyway. Now, you can visit each other's bases through streetpass and by trading codes similar to the Friend Safari. But wait, there's more! The people who visit your base will then become ally NPCs (who presumably just stay in your base). They can then do cool bonus stuff to you similar to O powers, and you can trade furniture with them. But wait, there's even more! When visiting other people's bases, you can capture flags similar to in gen 4, although it's less competitive since it looks like capturing flags is good for everyone. Anyway, the more flags you have, the stronger your ally's O power-like abilities are. Serebi has a whopping THIRTY screen shots of all this (it's under July 8th): http://www.serebii.net/omegarubyalphasapphire/pics.shtml
  20. I hope this means new episodes of the game can come out faster!
  21. It sure is a ton of fun to look back at these old comments. Sooooo much fake information, speculation that is hilariously off the mark, as well as criticisms that sound hilarious with today's context (such as bashing Froakie's design, when he becomes GRENINJA). Not to mention talking about the character designs, not knowing that you can make the character look however you want. And don't forget speculation on Sylveon and the new type (in retrospect, how did anyone believe SOUND would be a type? What would it be super effective against or weak to?). But the best part is people joking about Hoenn remakes, and how they're never going to happen. If only you guys knew.
  22. Official stuff for Mega Sableye confirmed: It's still the same type, gets the ability Magic Bounce, its defenses and special attack are raised, but its speed goes down. So it traded a notoriously OP ability for another notoriously OP one, huh? Well, that means rather than an upgrade to the current use of Sableye, this mega will become a new use of the same Pokemon. I predict that Sableyes in the metagame will now be one of two types: mega and non mega. The non megas will be the ones we see today: The annoying status-move spammers that are a pain to take down since they always move first. The mega ones will be used for trick room/calm mind. I wonder which one is gonna be more popular... EDIT: HOLY CRAP I JUST REALIZED........................Mega Sableye is meant to counter normal Sableye! You know, because Magic Bounce makes Prankster useless?
  23. You have both the yellow shard and the purple shard on your list. In reality, the purple shards are the yellow shards recolored and renamed. Also, maybe you should explain the uses of the Reborn-exclusive items?
  24. Breeding a Golem for earthquake? I'm 95% sure it learns earthquake by level up, since I have a shiny one in my party right now with it.
  25. Gates to Infinity gets a biiiiiiiiiiiit too much hate, although for a good reason: its severe lack of content compared to the first two generations. However, that I can forgive, because they were making the jump from 2d to 3d. It must have put a limitation on what they could include in the software. However, now that they've made an ENTIRE GENERATION in 3d, they have no excuse when the next game comes around. (And yes, they WILL make one. There's no point in speculating whether or not they will, only in what it will be like.)
